Adj: Extensive (as in extensive selection). My friend and I came to check out granite outlet on a frigid winter day right before the end of 2025. It was a cold, but at least it was a dry day. We drove all the way out here from West Sac, but it only took about 20-25m. Not bad on 50 going east. This is the original store iirc. They no longer have the store on 52 Ave near Sac State, but they still have the Sunrise one. We came here first thinking they have all the selection, but it turns out this location has all the NATURAL stones and only SOME of the engineered stones (read quartz which is NOT quartzite, yes, it gets confusing), so we did end up going up a few miles to the Sunrise branch too (see my review of that one shortly). This store has SO much to choose from! We felt like little kids in a candy store (except for the shivering from the cold, lol). My friend's trying to remodel a couple of bathrooms in her home so she's looking for something that's understated, but yet elegant and timeless, not flashy or loud, but still aesthetically tasteful. Unfortunately, she didn't find exactly what she was looking for in the material she wanted it in, for durability, but she found one that just *might* work so we went ahead and got a quote for material and labor and the price wasn't bad at all. You can see there are just so many designs and patterns to choose from, it can get dizzying and overwhelming, so I highly suggest not coming here alone, but w/a friend (or a partner if s/he has the patience and interest), and then doing a lot of decisive eliminations, so you can get down to a short-list or else you'd be here for a LONG time, lol. I enjoy design and remodeling type of challenges, even if it's not my project, so I was happy to come w/my friend to give her my 2 cents and to see what's new w/trends and prices, etc. If you're looking for a baseline for a project, G.O. is probably one of the best (if not the best) place for a quote. They have crews that they send out to do their projects if you don't already have a contractor. My friend was worried that there'd be pressured sales and I reassured her that this is definitely a DIY type of place that you can browse as you like w/NO pressure to buy at all. In fact, no one came up to say hi or ask us if we needed anything, so if you're comfortable w/this (or even prefer it), this is the place to go. read more

I recently renovated my kitchen and scanned through several stores to find the granite I needed to match the cabinets and finally selected one from this place. They have lot of varieties and at competitive prices. They also do the installation. The staff is helpful but they are extremely busy, so you may have to wait for a while to get their attention. We were sent here to check out the showroom and chose 3 top samples that my dad might like for his new kitchen remodel. (1st, 2nd & third choices). The warehouse is large and spacious, a bit busy, and no one offered any help. But we were impressed by the number of choices in a variety of colors, patterns, and geological formations in granite, marble, quartz, etc. It took us a few times to circulate around the aisles to finally narrow down our choices. But it was fun imagining my dad getting new counter tops in his kitchen after about 30 years of a non functioning kitchen left behind by previous contractors who did a poor job and left it incomplete! (That is a very long story and not relevant to this review). Anyway, we took photos of our selections and sent them to Shawn at KB Construction. He took it from there and went to work ordering and arranging the materials for preparation of counter tops extraordinaire! It took a few weeks of waiting, and got a close second choice that was more available to fit the kitchen and had a lower price. But the day finally arrived to give my dad a brand new working kitchen! This is our second project with Granite Outlet. They also did our seasonal home. Wei was great to and easy to work with, they scheduled us on our timeframe, installation was quick and efficient and end product was to expectation. The only thing that prevented me from rating 5 stars was they used white color sealant rather than clear, which is what they used in our condo. I could've been more diligent on making sure they used clear but I didn't know they used anything else. I would use them again for any bathroom or kitchen remodel. read more

This place has a great selection of pre-fab granite. Beautiful array of colors and options. The only reason it gets 3 stars is because you MUST know EXACTLY what you are looking for. There will be NO SALES associates helping you...not that kind of place. You find the granite , marble, quartzite or quartz that you want, go to the counter, they call the guy to show you the pieces, then you pay. You can't ask the people showing you the granite any questions because they barely speak English (but very helpful)-they may not have all the pieces you need (we had to pick 3 times until we found something where the had the stock for what we needed. YOU MUST KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT. The warehouse person shows you the pieces you put your name in it then pay. BE SURE TO INSPECT THE PIECES. Buyer beware... The people at the front counter were courteous but really only there to take your money and schedule pick up, delivery, or installation-they serve no other purpose! No shade! BE AWARE This is disappointing. I placed an order and selected slabs, but when they came I found that island slab is shorter then the spec, it should have been 98 inches but came at 94. I understand that issues happen, and thought we'll figure this out with the Granite Outlet. I called the warehouse and explained the situation expecting them to take care of their mistake and replace the slab. All I was told that I should bring this back for an inspection and then they will decide if they want to replace it. I have 4 people at the house and can't afford to pay for them sitting and waiting. They need to work toi make their living and this would leave them unpaid for the day if I was to run there for "an inspection" with n o guarantee that it will be replaced. The contractor offered a workaround to use that short peace but they would have to cut down the cabinet and it would cost me 250$. Granite Outlet office refused to pay for it or to deliver me a new slab so that we could work with it, implying that this is my responsibility to measure before choosing... Still don't understand how is it customer responsibility to measure materials when you pay for standard slabs that are sold with the spec... Please avoid, or bring a tape measure with you, oh, and learn the spec, they expect customers to know them :) Sad that it started at the good note originally and ends up like that. Shame. FIRST SERVICE SUCKS!!!!! There is a young lady who is expectant who is working there, she is short in tone rude as hell and not customer service oriented. Hey lady I have had kids too, but you don't get to be a B to the customer! Stay home then... We went there to purchase granite and she did not tell us they did not have the one we were looking for, she wrote on a little slip and yelled, "Pick up" and a man came and took us to look at the granite. We selected what we thought was the color only to go pay and it was $600 more than what I was told for the color I wanted. After going back and forth, standing in line every time to talk to someone we decided to do something else. So beware bate and switch happens...no negotiation for their error. read more

MAKE SURE TO SEE THE PICTURE BELOW When you buy granite from this place BE CAREFUL or you know what if you don't want to have a headache and problems DO NOT SHOP HERE. I would actually suggest not to ever step your foot into this place to avoid the trouble that I had. We ordered granite for delivery, paid them. Up front and what happens is that they delivered us same looking granite but thinner and a little bit darker. FYI When they do delivery they must make sure that they are delivering right material. Apparently, they did not and it cost us money.. good thing that my granite guys have sharp eye he noticed it right away. First, my supervision went there with pictures and showed to them. They refused to give us money back the manager and redhead lady was EXTREMELY mean to us. Most of it was a manager. So I had to come to pick that granite up and take it back to them they could not find the matching piece for at least an hour. After a long hour in that place we found the matching piece, however they still didn't want to return us money. Their prices are good BUT they use third party installers. The guys that installed my kitchen counters and bathroom countertops did an ok job. I mean, you can see a few seems. But they broke a bathroom backsplash while installing, used silicon to stick the two pieces together, and it looked terrible. So I called GO and said I was not happy with that part of the work. They told me to send them a photo of the issue and my documents. This was a Friday. I told them I'd take care of sending a photo and paperwork on the following Monday. I thought I was going to have to fight this BUT I was genuinely pleased that they had already come by and replaced the backsplash before I even got there to take a photo. No fuss, no muss. They didn't charge me or even attempt to charge me (not that they should have). But I was really happy I didn't have to fight them or make a claim. They followed through and I'm happy. read more

Their pricing is excellent, however you will require some knowledge of the materials and your project before coming in. Please note that they DO NOT have full slabs of material here. To complete our kitchen island, which is about 72"x60", it would have required 2 pieces here which we weren't willing to do. I was bummed to discover that, as the next cheapest place was probably around 25% more expensive. I believe this is how they are so cheap--all of their pieces of quartzite etc are pre-cut and partially finished from the factory so there's less labor involved for them. If you have a smaller island, this place will save you a lot of time and money. read more

David and his team were great to work with. We ordered cabinets and quartzite counter tops/backsplash. With every project we ran into issues with delayed cabinets that pushed us back a few weeks but David's crew made up for it by installing cabinets in a day and the counters the following day. They did an excellent job with measurements, ensuring cabinets went in straight on unleveled flooring, and lining up the counter/backsplash. We were a bit worried based on reviews but I can say the outcome was far better than our expectations. Granite outlet has the best prices around for pre-fabricated countertops. The staff has always been helpful and accommodating to pull and find colors and slabs to fit our budget and needs. If your looking for quartz as well The Granite Outlet III has the most options. I've used them for two kitchen remodels and two bathroom and referred to many friends & family and all have always been happy. You can save ALOT of money by picking your own slabs and finding a guy who just does install. be sure to have your installer pick them up Though as slabs are insanely heavy!!! read more

BEWARE that customer service will be poor as workers are all asian and do not seem to have English as their first language. Nice selection. Not awesome. But then the prices are awesome. Pieces are pre-cut so you're not buying a whole slab of granite like other places. I needed a couple of pieces for remodel small kitchen in condo. Talked with guy at counter to understand some of the terminology and process. After I found the pieces I wanted, I was able to get a floor guy to tag them for me. My contractor picked them up and I have beautiful granite kitchen counter top. They also sell kitchen sinks and granite cut outs for bathroom vanities. So don't go in here expecting hand holding and someone to escort you around and talk to you for an hour while you try to decide which piece to buy. There are other, more expensive places for that kind of experience. But if you can manage on your own and are not intimidated by the warehouse full of granite slabs, this place is great. read more

The breakdown. The pros & cons. For those writing bad reviews, it's obvious you didn't go around to get various bids. That in itself should give them at least three stars just based on their AMAZING Prices. I did have some issues, that' is why I minus one star. I am a newbie at granite so I had no clue that the these natural stones, are hard to match in slab colors in seams. I saved a ton of money here and have a beautiful kitchen now. My mother also had several jobs done though them. So I hope my review will save you a headache. I feel it's my fault for not knowing about how granite works. Ultimately I will go back to granite outlet purchase more granite and hire them again for install when I purchase my new home. Pros: Amazing prices on beautiful granite. If you subcontract through them, competitive pricing on installers. After a mishap, Granite Outlet made it RIGHT and I had no issues with them at all. They worked with the contractors searched and found a great piece that flowed better. Even though the project was delayed it still has super fast compared to other companies given timelines. Tip: Make sure you oversee yourself to make sure seams are placed in inconspicuous areas. Cons: The contractors expect you to know how granite works and don't explain much to you. The guys who came to install placed the seam in a very obvious spot, so matching the granite became critical. I wish they would have explained this to me "before" they just went ahead and installed it, because the seam could have been placed elsewhere. I was upset, and after they finished the job; they had to use a blowtorch and remove the end piece that clearly stuck out like a sore thumb. It was hideous. So my project was delayed a few days. The contractors went over and had to find a slab that matched the end piece better. However, still was not flowing as much as I hoped. Because I am very artistic, I actually made the flow "myself" into the unsealed granite, basically I stained it to create a better flow and hid the seams; then I sealed the granite using the highest quality 511 sealer. It looks pretty good now. See photos All this could have been avoided if I knew what I was doing as a buyer. THUS: if you go into this place with knowledge you will have a great experience, and avoid the mistakes I made. So here are my TIPS from thing I learned from this experience : 1. make sure you get matching granite slabs "over see" the choosing of granite. I didn't do that because I didn't know. 2. Talk with the installer the day of install and to go over where the seams will be, try to make sure the seams are placed in more inconspiuous areas so that it flows better and make sure you are there when they cut to oversea the seam blending. You can work with your contractors to help you get the look you want. -If you do these tips, you will have an AMAZING job and save a TON of money read more

This place blows. We searched for some granite slabs here and eventually found a model we liked. After inspecting numerous slabs of said type we found two slabs of granite and paid for them thinking everything would be fine. Two weeks later, our contractor goes to pick up the slabs and when he gets to our house he notices that in the center of one of the slabs there is a large chip (golf ball sized) and some epoxy over it. It is one of those you cannot miss this even if you were blind type of defects. These guys knowingly did one of two things; 1/ Gave us a different slab than we picked 2/ Damaged the slab, tried to repair it and did not notify us Bad business practices. Do not go here. read more

Last month they installed a white Quartz kitchen for me that turned out amazing! The materials cost less than $1000!!! The labor was around $1400 The complex sink cut-out was done perfectly!! And I am very picky! They arrived on time with great attitudes! They took the time and leveled a sloped eating bar area because I stuck a level on it. My only note.. Make sure you really pay attention at the front desk when placing the order. If you want help dealing with the demo of the old counters, picking out a new sink, Installing the new plumbing and dealing with this place at the counter, and you want someone there when they install it..Call me.. So happy with the service we received from Granite Outlet. I'm not sure why the reviews are hit or miss. We walked in and were immediately helped. We told the man working the counter what our budget was and he showed us everything in our price range and patiently waited as we took our time - even close to closing. We rented an A-frame very affordably to transport the granite and they even helped us strap it down when we weren't sure how to. Will be back again soon for granite in our bathrooms. read more

Today I was there to purchase the backsplash to match the two beautiful slabs of Carrera Marble I previously purchased. I waited off and on for two hours for the guys that handle the products to assist me with the backsplash. Two of the guys tried to make me pay first, "You need paper", like a contractor buying​ bulk, but even most of them pick their pieces first then the floor guys give them "paper" with the item number for the cashier.. Now its been 1 hour and 45 minutes and it is really hot. When I went to pay, the lady had to leave the counter to get the "paper" for the pieces I picked out from Guy3. So at the loading area I tell Guy 3, "I know you're not going to make me wait". But he does! I have two small pieces no machinery needed​ in comparison to the customers with large slabs requiring a lift. One customer shares with me that he had only been there 20 minutes & tries to assist me in getting service , stating "That's wrong". Finally they pull my cart! But do they load my pieces? NO! They add numerous (5-10) backsplashes for my new friend on to the same cart. I asked for them to load my 2 pieces first and not make me wait anymore. They refused, "He was here first." and proceeded to load 1- 2 - 3 - 4 - 5!! I literally had to loose my cool to get them to stop making we wait and load my backsplash. It was about to be more than 2 hours. Guy2 & 3 tried to put it on the people at the counter, even though the people yelled at them to assist me 3 times !!! Lets have it be known that I was the only person waiting this long. I was also the only the only woman by herself and the only black person. I watched other women & men come & go. Guy3 (chunky, speaks okay English) seemed nice but continuously made me wait and even stopped Guy2 from returning to assist.
