Talk about a hidden gem!! I'm doing some home renovation and was looking for some baseboards. Just for laughs and giggles I checked on a app called "Offer up" to see if any one had deals on baseboards. I clicked on a posting that was selling baseboards with prices that seemed to good to be true. I messaged the person and Serge replied and gave me the info, a phone number and address of his business. I went and checked them out today and got a killer deal with EXCEPTIONAL costumer service, i'm serious GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. They have a display room with what seems to be every baseboard and crown molding u would ever need all shapes and sizes from pine wood to MDF boards with real reasonable prices. Serge also had doors for sale. No matter what size project you are taking on Serge can help you. If they dont have the trim you like in stock they will order it for you and will have it in stock in a couple days or so with no shipping cost to the customer. They will deliver your order in town for a fee. I dont know if they charge according to the distance or is there a flat fee I was charged 50 bucks for delivery and I was okay with that because, theres no way 16 feet boards were gonna fit in the back of my Tacoma. We recently got the new floor in the hallway that came with non-standard baseboards. Because the new baseboards are taller, we had an ugly mismatch in the transition from the living room to the hallway. Checked all local home improvement stores and none of them had the size of baseboards that floor installers put in. Finally, after days of searching, I stumbled upon Moulding Base and checked their website. The website doesn't show what they have in store, so I gave them a call to check, and they confirmed the baseboard is in stock. Even though Rancho Cordova is not our part of the woods, we drove over to the business park where Moulding Base is located to pick it up. They also deliver, but I did not check how much it would be, since the distance might not warrant the cost for us. If someone lives closer and doesn't have a pick-up, this is definitely an option worth exploring. Since these baseboards come in 16 feet pieces, we had to have it cut in half, so it would fit over the gate in my pick-up. They will gladly cut the baseboards in the back before loading the product in. The store has all sorts of baseboards and moulding, just as the name implies. If it exists, most likely they will have it here, and if not they can order it. While I won't be coming here every time when replacing baseboards, in case there is something non-standard that local Home Depot doesn't carry, I now know where to go. read more
