I was very particular about the type of windows to be installed, due to thermal / sun / heat ratings and he worked with me and his supplier to ensure I received the windows that met my specifications. I made several changes after our original contract was signed, and Bill was fair in his change order pricing and was good about documenting the changes so there were no surprises at the end. I don't write reviews very often and this one is long overdue. We needed to have an exterior door added and two existing doors replaced. Bill came out right away to give us an estimate and I was very impressed with his knowledge compared to some of the other companies we had come out. The workmanship was outstanding and he met all timelines. The exterior door looks like it was there since the house was built. I was planning on getting catwalk/furniture installed in our cats room. The furniture/pieces would be mounted on studs that needs to be exactly 16 inches apart. Come to find out that the studs in the room are of different widths apart. We then decided to mount 3/4th inch plywood backerboard onto the wall so that we do not have to depend on the stud's placement but can mount anywhere. I reached out to Bill at Karp Construction to get a quote. He came over the same day and I told him what I wanted. I honestly wasn't sure how to go about the installation, but Bill gave me some suggestions to think about. He then emailed over quotes for installation and also painting the boards. I okayed the go ahead. Day of install came, and Bill had sent over his team members to complete the installation. Bill also came by to double check with me and that everything would be completed to my liking. His team members were really quick and diligent in getting all 3 of our walls backerboard installation and painted afterward. My husband and I took over a family owned unit in a duplex that was primarily used as a rental for 30+ years. When the last tenants left, the place was outdated and destroyed. We wanted to remodel the entire interior of the home plus some badly needed repairs to the exterior siding that was never painted. I was 18 weeks pregnant with our first child and while we did most of the interior demo ourselves the project became burdensome as my pregnancy progressed.
