They have an extensive menu of teas (including milk teas) and coffees. They also have allergens listed on their menus - it shows if something is dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegetarian. Being gluten- and dairy-free, this made my selections very easy. We were so impressed, we went their three times during a five day visit. In the morning they make baked goods on premise. They had three or four dairy and gluten free options. I particularly liked the banana nut bread and also got their chocolate-chip banana bread. I ordered an egg salad on a gluten free wrap during one of our visits - excellent. Their lattes were outstanding. I highly recommend the Soup Kettle Grille to anyone close enough to try it out.

Sandwich was soggy and difficult to consume with a lot of the cheese running out of the sandwich and being too overcooked to eat. Didn't actually finish the sandwich and that is a rarity for me. Tomato Soup was very runny, weak and lacked flavor and had an almost microwaved consistency and taste to it. Coffee also tasted off for some reason, almost having an old/stale flavor. Overall the staff were nice but the food left much to be desired.

The shoestring fries are my favorite because they are so crunchy and there are several sauces to choose from. Cheese curds are also really good, but they don't replace fries! The frozen custard was the highlight of our visit. Friends got the concrete in various flavors, which they enjoyed. I've had those in Vegas, so I opted for a simple chocolate/vanilla sundae with hot fudge. Shared with my daughter because we were so full from our burgers. It was so good! The texture is much creamier than regular ice cream and delicious. Eating it plain in a sundae really brings out the frozen custard taste and texture.

It NEEDS to be a Freddy's Summertime Staple on the menu. Infact, i demand it....PLEASE!!! That blueberry concrete every day got me through a very tough holiday week of working. Add in the fact that it's almost 100° everyday just makes my point stronger for the BLUEBERRY CONCRETE TO BE ON THE FULL-TIME SUMMER Menu!! Thanks Freddy's- you had a home run! Jackson is additionally a wonderful employee that greets me by name now because I am there so often. I really appreciate that! What a great teenager you have hired & found in him! Keep hiring wonderful employees!

So my wife and I ordered from crave tonight....because crave is flippin' amazing...and I finally…read moredecided to get me some Tokyo hot chicken. I have been craving some good fried chicken and thought what the heck, it looks good. I got a spread...like enough for two people and no matter how long and hard I was on that damn pelaton I still couldn't burn it all off. Any way, I tried the six piece chicken fingers in original spicy, a chicken snacker, mac and cheese, and crispy yuzu potatoes for my sides. First the good news, i really enjoyed the chicken snacker. It's on a Hawaian style slider bun and the kewpie mayo is fantastic. It's probably what I would recommend to anyone ordering from here. The crispy yuzu potatoes were my favorite side and also really satisfying with a uniquely great flavor profile. Where it fell short for me was actually where I thought it's strength would be, the frikin chicken. The breading had very little flavor and the chicken was a bit dry. I did get the fingers so I would recommend going for the bone in pieces. All and all I didn't love it... and frankly I hardly liked it. It was fast food fair (with less flavor) at crave level prices. I order from crave fairly often and expect top level cheat worthy menu items worth the premium price tag. The only thing that delivered was the snacker. I suggest you give it a shot but don't go in expecting Tony G level greatness. Get in there, order local fair and eat up Boise.

I was really excited when I read that Michael Mina, who has a Michelin-starred restaurant in San…read moreFrancisco, was opening a Meridian ghost kitchen operation through Crave. I may have been the first person to order on the day Tokyo Hot Chicken opened, Nov. 16. I ordered four pieces of chicken and the crunchy Yuzu potatoes. I was greatly disappointed with the chicken. Mina told the Los Angeles Times that his chicken would rate a 6 or 7 out of 10 for heat. My pieces were barely a 2. And there was no seasoning, so the chicken was juicy but bland. The potatoes, on the other hand, were really good. Fast forward nearly a month and I tried them again. This time they offered an "inferno" heat setting, so of course I dialed that in. And boy, did it pack the heat. It was much more satisfying. But it still could have used some salt or other seasoning to perk up the flavor. Again, the potatoes were wonderful. So it appears that in the month they've been operating Tokyo Hot Chicken has tweaked their operation. One thing that I am still disappointed in was that after my first experience, I wrote to Tokyo Hot Chicken in San Diego through a private Facebook message (there was no contact information for the company on its website.) I also sent an email to Chef Mina's restaurant group. I didn't get a response back from either contact. They're apparently not very good at customer service. The Crave delivery drivers have been pleasant and professional.
