This place was unique in decor and courtesy. All the employees and servers were attentive and courteous. The bathrooms were clean. They have bakery items for sale as well. The main store has quite a bit of selections including hot food at the counter and fresh cold selections. The breakfast in the restaurant was delicious. My husband doesn't eat pork but they were more than helpful and happy to sub out pork for chicken for him. They even have orange marmalade!! Smucker's naturals. All in all great travel stop. Sorry no photos of our food. We got about halfway done and decided it was okay that we didn't take a photo before we ate All glory to The Most High Jah.

The restaurant has a little store and gas station nearby, perfect to take a break and stretch your legs. I ordered the chicken fried steak with over easy eggs, hashbrowns, and sourdough toast. The eggs were fine but a bit undercooked. The toast could've been toasted longer but was otherwise nicely buttered. The hashbrowns were standard but better with the steak seasoning on the table. The chicken fried steak was good, and the sausage gravy was a bit spicy, which was great. The portions are quite generous, it about put me in a coma after I cleaned my plate. Overall, the food was good, the service was quick and I'd stop here again.

Well it's been 2 yrs since we were able to stop here to eat. I wanted my Shrimp Scampi but it changed... it was pretty bland. The waitress told us that customers said they were making it wrong. So the dish that I liked was called Shrimp Fettochinni Alfredo with grilled peppers! So that will be next time maybe. It was the Me I an cooks that made it gooooood! Our waitress did give me some grilled onions and tri peppers grilled for it. And I added them. Not the same. But oh well things change. New cooks too. Bf had chef salad and that was good. Then he had half BLT with fries. Uh ya... think we sleepin the the lot tonite. He ate a lot.

Always love stopping here. The food is good and plenty of parking. The portions are large so you should be full when you leave here!!!

Had the Chicken Fried Steak. It's a Big steak! Very good flavor to the gravy. Well seasoned. Nice and crispy and well cooked. Hash browns are good despite being a little undercooked. Nice big beverage glasses. Best chicken fried steak I've had in Idaho!

Immediately upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a case displaying of a variety of homemade desserts, including huckleberry cheesecake. A waitress offered a friendly greeting and led me to a seat where another waitress promptly came by to ask what I wanted to drink. I ordered the drink and a slice of huckleberry cheesecake since there were only two left and I wanted to make sure one belonged to me. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries, both of which were very good. Service was friendly and attentive. The burger patty seemed to be fresh and formed in-house. Definitely not your typical Sysco restaurant patty. The huckleberry cheesecake was out of this world. Prices were very reasonable. I'm traveling through again next week and will definitely stop here for another meal.

The gal who greeted me was friendly but our waitress made it feel like she didn't want to be there. Food was great. I got the biscuits and gravy and it definitely did not disappoint but I felt the wait time for the food was really bad. We came in and it took over an hour and a half for a party of 5. I will try to come back during different times to have better judgment but overall for the wait the food was fine not amazing but fine.

Bittercreek provided me with just what I needed today. Warm and inviting service and a terrific selection of food and beverages for me to enjoy. Dined alone at the bar and everyone that I came into contact with did what I expect. Timely greet and informative service personnel. Hats off to the whole team. Was talked into a Chardonnay from the Willamette Valley and it was spectacular. I usually stick to Willamette Valley reds but went for it after a tiny taste. It's what I needed but didn't know it until it was offered. Too many times I stick to my wheelhouse and don't stray but was coerced by someone who I assumed was the inhouse shotcaller. I had two glasses and it went well with the Bowl of Corn Chowder I was told about. Served hot and with some semi crusty sourdough that hit the spot. Finished every spoonful and it brought me back to my time in New England. The soup was done right for sure. Noone trying too hard which is an issue when trying to recreate a coastal favorite while land locked in the mountain state of Idaho. Right before I had.my second glass of Chardonnay, I asked "the front of the house shot caller" about the selection of Rums and was offered a taste of one that could have been a contender for my follow up beverage. No mixer needed. Would have made a great sipper, as most good rums can be but I elected for the second glass of Chardonnay. Glad that I did. Was feeling a bit buzzed and full from my meal and had to exit stage left before trying a dessert. I'm sure it would have been epic but I'm thin for a reason and don't overindulge. Thank you Bittercreek! My visit with you all made me wonder why I hadn't been in since 2006 or 2007. I'll, certainly, be visitong more often and will bring others with. You've got a fan in me!

A couple of my friends showed up first, got a great table outside and ordered a couple apps to get the party started. I showed up after goodies and drinks were ordered. We started off with some chips and salsa and pountine. The chips and salsa looked good but the pountine was definitely calling my name! I love me some potatoes and these potatoes looked like they were going to be right up my alley! I dished up a good portion before my friends got some. They were kind to let me plate first cause of my new kidney. I didn't want to be too greedy so the portion I got was a few bites. Those few bites got me hooked so it was a must to get another order started. While my order of pountine was being worked on, I tried the pretzel with cheese and the hummus plate. The pretzel was perfectly salted. The cheese sauce was the perfect addition to the soft pretzel. I took a good amount of the hummus and Greek salad. The pita that came with it was a great vessel for the hummus. It was crispy with a slight chew to it. The hummus was clean tasting and rich. The Greek salad was so fresh. All the components of the salad tasted like they were just picked from the garden. You literally can't get anymore farm to table than that! It was so fresh! The second order of pountine came out. Everything about this appetizer was delicious! I love soggy, softer fries and these fries were the business! The gravy and cheese were the highlight of the dish for me. You can never go wrong with potatoes, cheese and gravy! There was a good amount of meat on the pountine. It was so tender! You can tell it was cooked with a lot of love and time! I took the rest home and I plan on hiding my box in the back of my fridge so my daughter can't get to it! We ended our happy hour with the beignets. Each one of these goodies were covered in powered sugar. The caramel sauce that was paired with it was devine! In all honesty, as full as I was, I could have polished off an order myself! They were the perfect dessert to end this fabulous meal. Bittercreek has been on my to go list for a hot minute. I'm so happy we got to come here and celebrate my birthday. The food was marvelous. Our server did a fantastic job taking care of us! Our waters were always filled. Our cocktails were never dry. And our plates were always filled cause food was always ordered on time for us. Homie was on point tonight! The venue can't be any more stunning. The weather was lovely. We were meant to be here today! In so happy we started my birthday week off at Bittercreek!

The burger itself was outstanding--perfectly cooked, incredibly juicy, and packed with flavor in every bite. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and the toppings were balanced just right without overwhelming the burger. Even the bun was soft yet held everything together perfectly, which is something a lot of places overlook. What really stood out was the attention to detail across the whole meal. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and everything came out hot and fresh without a long wait. It's clear this place cares about consistency and customer experience. Whether you're just stopping in for a quick bite or looking for a go-to burger spot, this place absolutely delivers. We will definitely be coming back again and recommending it to anyone who appreciates a truly great burger. Location is fun with other restaurants nearby. Must visit!

He was very informative about where to go and places to check out in Boise. I ordered one of the local beers and their flagship meal, the Santa Maria Tri Tip Sandwich. As you can see by looking at the photos, the tri-tip was cooked to perfection. It had tomatoes, poblano, and chimichurri sauce on it to add to the flavors of the tri-tip. The bread consistency was great, not too soggy, and with a great crispy texture. I wish they had spread the tri-tip out more to make sure every bite was being celebrated. I also ordered the mac and cheese as the side per the instructions of the bartender, James. Let me say that was one of the best mac and cheeses that I have ever had. Truly amazing creamy texture and full of rich flavor. Everything melted in your mouth. Definitely worth it. I eventually ended up talking to a fellow bar sitter, and he ended up being the co-owner of the place, TJ. He also filled me in on the places to go and, most definitely, the places to travel to, to experience great beer. He was refreshing to talk to since most people don't have the passion for beer that we both represent. I would highly recommend this place for the staff that is there the solid pub style restaurant that they have created. Super easy and relaxed kinda of place.
