I was passing through on my way to Nampa for work and decided to stop because of the positive reviews. Immediately upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a case displaying of a variety of homemade desserts, including huckleberry cheesecake. A waitress offered a friendly greeting and led me to a seat where another waitress promptly came by to ask what I wanted to drink. I ordered the drink and a slice of huckleberry cheesecake since there were only two left and I wanted to make sure one belonged to me. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries, both of which were very good. Service was friendly and attentive. The burger patty seemed to be fresh and formed in-house. Definitely not your typical Sysco restaurant patty. The huckleberry cheesecake was out of this world. Prices were very reasonable. I had a really good experience here. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy. Areas were clean and presentation was good. The wait staff was okay. The gal who greeted me was friendly but our waitress made it feel like she didn't want to be there. Food was great. I got the biscuits and gravy and it definitely did not disappoint but I felt the wait time for the food was really bad. We came in and it took over an hour and a half for a party of 5. I will try to come back during different times to have better judgment but overall for the wait the food was fine not amazing but fine. read more

Ambiance: Very chill vibes. Decor is cute. I love the moss art on the wall towards the back of the restaurant. Restaurant was clean. It was prom night and it was filled with couples in flashy attire so you know this was the place to be in town. Service: 10/10 our server was attentive, drinks were refilled without having to ask. My daughter and grandson and I walked in and were seated very quickly. This was our first time here. We got there shortly after noon and there were a lot of customers seated, customers coming in to pick up orders. A busy noon hour. I ordered a chef salad, my daughter ordered an apple walnut salad and my grandson ordered two pancakes and a chocolate shake. It took a long time to get our food but the food was really good. We all enjoyed our meals.The pancakes were plate sized and the salads both were quite large. The prices seemed a little high but weren't unreasonable. We found this place on Yelp so thought we give it a try. Sorry for the lack of pictures this time. Came for lunch. Ordered a classic BLT and a Jalapeño Bacon Burger. The BLT bacon was fantastic, the right amount of mayo. Only thought even with just regular white bread it is a thick sandwich and could use another slice of tomato IMO. My hubby loved the burger. Fries are steak fries and weren't the warmest but still edible. The only real negative about our experience was the temperature of the restaurant. It was literally freezing and no where to move to get away from a duct. I had a jacket on and we still chilly. All in all would def come again. Thank you for the hospitality. read more

First time here (I live in Boise) but will be back!! I got the Prime Rib dip and it's one of the best I've had in the Valley!!! The onion rings are fresh not frozen, hand dipped and a great size portion!! My friend got the bacon cheeseburger and waffle fries which will be my next meal!! Cannot recommend enough!! read more

This place wasn't bad at all! Moho is picking up and finally getting some good restaurants. I ate my whole pancake meal. The pancake tasted pretty good. Not like a traditional pancake. The bacon was literally perfectly cooked. The French toast was a tad crunchy. I'd probably not get that. The restaurant itself was really cute! Clean. Had great service. Wasn't too busy on a Thursday before Christmas. From what I hear their potato soup is spot on. So get that. read more

Showed up at 5:30 pm got seated pretty quick. Ordered our food pretty quick. But it was 7pm before the food was brought to the table. It was cold it was not well done but was dry and inedible for filet mignon it was like chewing leather. Asked waitress what was taking so long and she asked how we ordered our steak I said well done and she said that was why. I told her no steak takes that long. Ended up throwing it away after we left and they were snarky about it when we left. We weren't the only ones unhappy with long wait. Saw others get up and leave frustrated. I'm sure this will not have any impact cause there are so few restaurants in Mountain Home and quite a lot of negative but accurate reviews already. A hidden gem in Mountain Home. Located on a quiet street in the downtown area. On a nice day, you can walk right in to the restaurant via the garage-like sliding door that is pulled open into the ceiling, allowing for an outdoor patio-like experience if you sit near the edge toward the street. Nice ambience inside, looks upscale. Seems clean and new. Very friendly staff. Wide variety on their menu, something for everyone. All of the food is tasty, and had no problems with our large order. Was craving a BLT again and went here because it was $12.99 for a BTL and fries, they also have WAFFLE FRIES! At first we were greeted by this one lady, who kinda gave some attitude towards us and kept giving us dirty looks, possibly because I had my service dog with me. However, our waitress was super super sweet, I believe her name was Autumn, she was very attentive and I did not have to ask for extra things since she would already ask us if we needed a refill, or anything else. Oh, man. My partner and I had just had a very, very long travel day coming from Austin, TX, and were just getting going on our road trip through Idaho. Stoney's was our first meal in the state. We were hungry and looking for that small-town charm type of restaurant that would be easy to get in and out of to be on our way with a hopefully satisfied belly. My bf ordered the fish and chips with fries. So confused by the random small bowl of chopped carrots that come with it?? Very unappetizing both in look and taste. The fries were good and the fish was decent despite tasting like it was frozen. I got the chicken caesar salad. There is no way that chicken is fresh. It looked and tasted like the inside of McDonald's chicken nuggets. I saw another review that said their food reminds them of cafeteria food and that is EXACTLY how I would describe my salad. The salad portion was huge so I didn't finish it but I also didn't take the leftovers with me because I knew I wouldn't eat anymore of that. Service was slow for there being so few tables sat at the time we showed up. The inside is nice, however. The restaurant and its bathrooms were clean. Parking in the area is easy. The breakfast here is AMAZING! The prices on everything is very cheap. The portion sizes are huge, they fill up the whole plate.
