I have given them 1 chance, I have given them 2, I have even given them 3, and they were all the same. It took just about over 15 minutes each time. My last and worse visit, I got 3 jalapeno poppers + ranch, looked into the bag, 3 hot, mediocre poppers, no ranch. I ordered 1 bag of items first, a big family behind me ordered about 3 bags AFTER me, they got served first. All of the food was okay. The interior was quite boring to sit in there for about 25 minutes. The only reason why I believe this place deserves 1 star at MOST is from the manager who was nice about everything. Safe to say this is one of the last places I consider in this town to go eat at. In total since my last visit, the food is mediocre, the Jumbo Jack I ordered looked disastrous, the regular french fries where half curly fries, didn't get my ranch. The pace at which I have received my food DESPITE ordering first and got it second took around 25 minutes. The atmosphere feels dull and sticky. The only benefit was the one nice manager I hardly even talked to; I only talked to her when I ordered because she was training what might have been a new employee. The one thing my husband misses from living on the west side of the U.S. is Jack in the Box. We decided to stop in to use the restroom and order some food. There is no indoor dining. They do have picnic tables outside the front if you would like to eat at the restaurant. My nuggets were super fresh and hot. The fries were hot too. Everything tasted super fresh and hot. They gave us a ton of ranches. Everything was delicious. We realized the coke tasted funny so I went in and realized it was automatically set to lime because of a lack of syrup. The manager said she would fix it, but in the meantime she filled a new coke for us in the back. She did not want us to have to wait. read more

my wife is gluten free due to a severe gluten allergy (trust me, if we didn't have to be gluten free we wouldn't be). We went to this Jack in the box and asked if they could either do a lettuce wrapped burger or do shredded lettuce instead of the bun (some restaurants only do shredded lettuce instead of lettuce wrap). They said they cannot do that so we left. There was no customer service what-so-ever. There were no options offered. I understand having gluten free requests can be tedious, however, for a lot of GF people it's a medical necessity. Please educate your employees and make sure they have empathy for allergy requests as this is probably not the first time someone who is GF has been turned away due to lack of knowledge. read more

when someone orders something with no cheese obviously don't put cheese on it. I go here after work and almost every time I order a jumbo jack with NO cheese and I get cheese. I can't eat cheese so it's basically a waste of my time and money you're charging $10 for a meal. At least make it right. read more

I didn't think jack in the box was here in the Boise Idaho area, but to my surprise, they have a bunch of locations in the city and one location that was about an hour from Boise. This location was in mountain home, Idaho. I had a craving for some good ol season curly fries and it was on the way to Ogden UT from Boise, so I stopped here for a nice lunch spot stop. You would figure that any restaurant outside the city limits of any city can be ghetto and desolate, but I guess people do live and work out here, so that's pretty cool. It was either here or Subway next door and apparently Subway lost. My favorite thing about Jack In the Box would have to be the curly fries. I have to admit that jack in the Box puts quality first and the taste is a lot cleaner and crisp than that of McDonalds and Burger King. It is a better taste but you get that at a premium, as they are not cheap and there are a lot less locations of jack in the Box than there are McDonalds and Burger King - nation wide at least. For the most part though, seeing this jack in the Box in mountain home, ID brought a smile on my face since i usually don't see them outside of Hawaii too much (my home state). It was nice to make a stop here on my way to Utah on a quick recent trip here in October 2017. The overall experience here at this Jack In the Box location was pretty good. Self explanatory and words are generally not needed when explaining the fast food experience, but with Yelp, it's good to do. The restaurant itself is clean and very neat. I usually go for the seasoned curly fries and that thought that was special, which is normally two for a dollar, or something similar like that. Sometimes I would go overboard and buy six of them for a nice meal, but that's just me on any given day. The prices here are usually in a bit more pricier than that of McDonald's or Burger King, but the quality is there so you get better stuff here than that of the other guys. This Jack-in-the-Box location is located right outside the I-84 in mountain view, Idaho. They do have those digital touch screen soft drink machines, which is pretty awesome. I wonder why this isn't more widespread. Maybe it's cost prohibited for a lot of franchisees or something. Jack in the Box accepts major credit cards, so that's always a good thing, especially for us road warriors on the go. There is private parking for everyone who comes here, so that's good. Definitely not a good place to have public transit, although I'm not sure if the city of Boise has public transit that extends way out here to Mountain Home. Not much else to say, other than that you get what you pay for. There's a value menu here, so that's comforting, but the combos are of decent value when you consider that the taste and freshness is a good bargain when compared to McDonald's and Burger King. It is quite refreshing and relaxant these days when you are looking for an alternative but are on the go and looking for a quick bite. The ambiance and atmosphere is casual and quiet for the most part, especially coming here during the day at around 1pm. There's probably no wifi here and they have restrooms for customer use, which is always a great thing! Definitely a nice alternative from the fast food junket if you are in the area. 3.75 stars for the overall experience. Prices are decent. Look for the combos. 4.0 stars for the food. Support local! Our food was given to a different customer. The customer then gave the employee the food back after realizing it was not theirs. The employee walked up to our car with our food and wanted us got take it after it had been give to a different customer. That is a heath violation from my understanding. Then the manager Dani was rude about the whole situation. She was not polite and unprofessional. read more

Aside of the blond late night manager being a total ass to her employees, pretty decent place. Quite clean, food is always hot and made when ordered and the rest of the employees are super friendly. Went there on another random Friday night, just before midnight and witnessed a few ambulances lined up in their parking lot. Realized the drive-thru was blocked off with a bunch of trash cans so I turned around and was in shock once I noticed a body covered over a white bloody sheet... Most of the time the service is great. The food is not as great more often than the service though. We used to never have to pull up and wait for someone to bring our food to us but the past maybe 6 months we have to pull up almost every time. Only a handful out of many trips there (because there's not a lot to eat in this town) our food was fresh. Why pull up and wait when our food doesn't even come out warm? This review is for travelers (locals probably already know this). On several occasions cold food, luke-warm coffee, not-so-friendly service. On one occasion my extreme sausage was crunchy. I thought it was grissel. Turns out it was egg shells - lots of egg shells. I opened the sandwich and could actually see the egg shells! I used to work at jack in the box and know it's not that hard to see egg shells while cooking. The last thing was them closing the restrooms. Some people see restrooms as a way to spread bacteria, but i see it as a way to wash up destroying bacteria especially on your hands. But i think they just wanted to save money on supplies and time cleaning it - not for health reasons. They could at least put note on the entrance so we dont have to park, walk in, and get in a bickering match over closed restrooms. My mom is a well-kept diabetic senior citizen with bowel issues - and they absolutely would not let her use the restroom. We're just getting real tired of this particular jack in the box. read more

24/7 is false. I pulled up to a long drive thru line which doesn't matter cuz my vehicle is too tall anyway. There were people eating and ordering inside but they locked the doors and made it quite clear that I wasn't getting to order any food. read more

Other than Wal-Mart, I think this is the only place that serves food 24/7. It's fast food, with a big menu selection. Be prepared to feel like a fat kid after eating here. read more

I drove down from Boise straight after work and was hungry when I got there. obviously the graveyard guy was working.I ordered my food proceeded to the window. He was not very polite in the first place but then when he brought me my food I very nicely asked him for a water and he then rolled his eyes art more without saying anything. He proceeded to get the water and I said "if it's a problem never mind"because he obviously wasn't happy about it. He kept getting the water got frustrated cuz the lid wasn't fitting and threw the lid on the ground. If a patron is paying for food they should be able to get water.I have always worked in customer service and have never acted like that with a customer.I will never be back to this establishment again. read more

My wife and I stopped in to redeem our 1 million burger giveaway coupons. We pulled into the drive through I notified the server we planned on using the coupons. after a very awkward 30 second silence she got back on and said that the offer had expired. I pulled out my phone double checked the date and let her know that the offer didn't expire till midnight. Yet again another long awkward silence. She then came back and said her manager had just informed her they are no longer offering the free burgers because all million coupons had been used. Frustrated we left. I called corporate and they said that was just not true. That the location should most definitely honor the promotion. Obviously they refused. I took it upon myself to call other Jack-in-the-Box locations in Boise. They said they weren't sure why Mountainhome was refusing but they would be more than happy to honor them because they didn't expire until midnight. I am not a genius but intelligent enough to realize it was for their own personal gain they were refusing. They didn't want to absorb the cost of two free burgers. Well as far as I'm concerned they can absorb the cost of losing two customers for good. If i could give this place 0 stars i would!!! I went to this establishment today and ordered a big order "60 tacos" it was my little girls birthday today. I tried to call before going and no one answered so i went down there the guy who took my order asked if "i was serious" & was completely rude i apologized about the order and let them know i could wait a little bit no rush.... a girl comes from making hamburgers and takes OFF her gloves and starts making my food....I repeatedly told/asked her to to put gloves on and was ignored i also told another 2 of her coworkers and was also ignored. This same girl thew the tacos through the warmer and some fell on the floor and the young employee wanted to put them in my bag...there was NO MANAGER there until they pretty much threw the bags on the counter as if they were offended.... then there was a MIRACLE a manager comes out of her office drinking her iced coffee i kindly waved my hand for her to talk to me and told her about the girl not using gloves and handling food and the manager responded with "SO?" I told her "that's unsanitary and disgusting" she said she guesses she'll talk to her and walks out front of the store to smoke her cigarette......there was no other manager on the floor and i can handle mistakes i can handle waiting but why would i want to handle employee's being completely out of order to me for ordering food when they are in the food business.....it's not like i paid less than anyone else i deserve good service won't go back ever again!!! read more
