The flavor of the mole sauce was fantastic- not too sweet. The chicken in the enchiladas and the combo plate was tender and flavorful. Nothing chewy or stringy like I've had elsewhere. Finished with sopapillas and fried ice cream. Haven't had sopapillas for a long time and this was very flavorful with a crème filling plus cinnamon sugar on top. I took off a star because the chips were hard and the salad was mediocre at best. But the steak was great! It was cooked perfectly medium the way I ordered it, nice and pink throughout the center and a nice sear on the outside. I was prepared to be disappointed and eat my leftovers instead, but I was so pleasantly surprised! The salsa was also pretty good. I'm a Latina so I would've preferred it spicier, but it had a nice flavor to it.
