My car washed
George B.

Long time Costco customer here and big fan of the brand, so I wrote this with pause. Ordered 4 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires for my 2022 Lexus Es300H. Tires arrived, scheduled appointment and all went to plan. Purchased tires 3 times from Costco, so I know the process. Arrived for install, team logged me in, I do some shopping, pick up my car, come home and give it a wash. Sadly, the tire team at the Costco in Meridian managed to scratch all 4 of my Lexus rims. How do I know? I love Costco everyone but the tire team needs to revisit standard operating procedures, slow down, treat cares like they are yours. Giving a 2 star because of my long term delight with Costco but my gut said a 1 star. :(

Pizza? I paid for pizza. Not sure what this is.
Nathan M.

Remember when you could go get pizza at the Costco food court and not have it suck? It wasn't that long ago. What happened? Now, the pizza is paper thin. Like, thinner than thin crust. Any thinner and you could use it to write your next essay on. And that's it. I came, ordered a pizza, left for home, got home, opened the box, and was disappointed. I wonder if there's a little Caesars around here. Can't get much worse. I know inflation is affecting lots of products, but now I have to fold it in half to resemble anything close to what they used to be. The rest of the store looks good, the rest of the menu looked alright. But this score is for just the pizza. Failure.

Love Costco other than overwhelming amount of people moving in the valley. Great selection and helpful employees.

The stores are getting way over crowded. No one answers the phone, and if you do get an pickup, no one in the Dept answered either.

Newest Costco in the Boise area. Not busy compared to the Boise proper location. Big gas station.

I don't normally shop at Fred Meyer. It's not conveniently located for me. However, today I was…read moreshopping for a specific product, Green Gobbler drain cleaning and deodorizing sticks. The website said they had them, on aisle 48. So, I drove from my home in Star to this location. First of all, I don't think they have an aisle 48. I looked all over, and I found aisle 47 and aisle 49, but no 48. The drain cleaning products I did find were on aisle 18, and they did not have any Green Gobbler sticks. So, a wasted trip. The website said they were in stock at this location, and I could order them online and pick them up. I don't know where they would be located in the store, but I'm not coming back. Otherwise, the store is big and is kind of like a Wal-Mart or Target.

Generally speaking, i like Fred Meyer stores & I'm sure this location is just fine for your…read moreshopping needs which is why I'm not giving one star, but my recent experience as a salvation army bell ringer here wasn't the most positive. Salvation Army will always have my support. I donate toys during the holiday season every year and this year I've also been showing my support as a Bell ringer. I've really enjoyed it, I want to do this every year & it's nice to see that people have been quite generous with their donations to the kettle. I just wish some of the store's employees were better informed about the protocols with Salvation Army kettles. When I began doing this I had no issues & I was told when hired at my shift time i were to go to the store's customer service desk to retrieve the kettle with stand & then place it wherever side I was told my spot would be for the day, do my assigned shift & then drop the kettle off back at customer service or wherever their designated safe spot in the store would be which to me was pretty common sense. In the state I lived in before, you'd hear about bell ringers just walking off wheather on a break or just having been done for the day & leaving the kettle full of money in plain view & some shady person coming by to take it, breaking into it to steal all the $$- it's not something that'll happen everywhere or all the time but it's something that needs to be kept in mind because sadly it does happen. When I took on the role of a bell ringer I made a vow to be responsible & not let anything happen to the donations to guarantee they will go to the families that need assistance the most during the holiday season.. i commend Walmart stores because they seem to know how it all works, there were no issues there & the process went alot smoother for me. At this Fred Meyer location though, they seem to be clueless or maybe just careless in regards to the charity's donations. I recently did a shift here & when I went to the customer service desk they had no idea where the kettles even were at first... they called others for assistance and then I found out from someone they just left the kettle & stand out by the door on the other side of the store from the last person who did it there before me which had to have been at least the day prior as I did this shift in the morning. I didn't find that to be a smart decision to leave it in that spot ..as I've mentioned before sometimes people have bad intentions but I didn't make a fuss about it and went over & began my shift which was overall great. The kettle had a little $ in it from the day before but didn't seem like much though & by the end of a 2 hour shift bell ringing, I got it filled to the top & many of the donations were whole dollar bills, very little coins.. I had generous donors! I wore a Christmas tree hat & played Christmas music so maybe that helped to spread a little more cheer & generosity! Anyways, fast forward to the end of my shift, I hauled the entire stand & kettle over to customer service & I let them know I was done for the day & that the kettle was completely full & I asked where is their designated spot they would like me to put it... the same customer service employee I dealt with just 2 hours earlier was also clueless about that & again had to call multiple people including supervisors. They came to the desk &told me that they will not be held responsible for the kettles so I can just leave it where I was bell ringing or someone would need to swing by to pick it up. That was not at all what was told to me when hired by a temp agency & it was also different than what I experienced with Walmart just the week prior. I had an important dr appt to get to after my shift 20 minutes away. I tried my best to get a hold of the temp agency who hired me but they didn't respond for a little while & I did not trust just leaving the kettle with the employees at this store... it seemed like they wouldn't care at all if the money was stolen. I mean I know it's not their money but if I had a wonderful charity like salvation army partnering with my store, I'd help protect the donations & not treat them like an after thought! I wasn't about to miss my dr appointment because I needed to be seen immediately in order for my dr to refill my BP meds so since I couldn't get ahold of anyone right away & the employees of this store dismissed me... I know it sounds crazy but i took the whole stand & kettle, loaded it into my car which I'm surprised I actually got it to fit without causing any damage to either, luckily as i was driving off I finally got communication from the agency ..they wanted me to just bring it back into the store at first & try to tuck it into a corner but then let me know if i could drop it off at their office so I delivered it to them for salvation army to retrieve it & went to my dr appt with BP through the roof from all the frustration with this particular Fred Meyer.

I've heard about Steelz but never have had the chance to visit until recently. I am very familiar…read morewith returns as I manage a team that oversees 14-18 online vendors with many of them being on Amazon, Walmart, and Costco. So, criss-cross apple sauce everyone STORYTIME I When you're a manufacturer/vendor and you agree to be on Amazon whereas you sell to Amazon and then Amazon sells to its customers, most vendors choose to pay Amazon 2% for handling the returns. This means that the returns do not go back to the manufacturer or the vendor. Please note that in Seller Central, there is also a similar program but some sellers can opt to have returns returned to them. Steelz from what I saw on their shelves seems to be a home for returning goods from various stores and platforms. It also looks like Steelz is the local recipient of left-over stock that Costco and others don't want on their shelves anymore. STORYTIME II Ever since the asterisk in the upper right-hand corner of the price matrix sign at Costco? If you see the asterisk, it means that the item has a number of days before it leaves Costco. That item may or may not sell out. If it doesn't sell out, meaning sealed, factory new items are left over, Steelz will most likely buy them at a discount ( liquidated price agreed upon with Costco and others ) and then Steelz is now the owner of the inventory of sealed and new items as well as any returns that Steelz wants to buy. While I walked through Steelz, I noticed many items from Costco. I couldn't determine whether or not the pricing at Steelz was indeed a deal. In my opinion, a couple of dollars saving wasn't worth it for me but I do see value for customers who are not Costco members. If didn't have a Costco membership but wanted to shop at Costco, then Steelz is potentially a great deal. Steelz also has many Kirkland products in smaller individual sizes like toilet paper and paper towels. We didn't buy anything at Steelz that day but I would be interested in going back and doing some more looking and pricing. There's been some discussion about the return policy or returning products overall. I can't speak on this topic since I have not purchased anything. If I do purchase anything and if I have to return anything, I'll update this review.

And no it wasn't written on the box. The scale was also dirty. Then I got a box with two cast iron pans. Because of history, I decided to open them in the parking lot. The, big one was used with rust. All in it grease all down the sides of the pans grease all over the bottom with rust, and the protective handle was breaking off in tiny pieces. Needless to say , 13 minutes after purchase, I was refused my money back and had to get a Shop card. When its the stores fault, the store needs to issue a refund. The Prices are more than Costco's prices. at least when you go to Costco, you get great customer service, refund, and reliability. BTW where is the owner?
