Friday, December 19. 2025, 10:30 AM If society causes items you wish to purchase at any store to be locked up, thus the customer needs assistance to order said item by being unlocked, then perhaps the personnel working the electronics department should acknowledge the customer standing at the counter instead of being paid to stand there simply being on their phone. Nothing annoys me more than a business that allows the cell phone to trump customer service. We've visited this Walmart 4 times so far and used their order and pickup option once, and as far as Walmarts go, this is a great one! Great options at great prices! This is the saddest Walmart I have ever seen. The shelves are a mess - not just one department many. I was in the area for houseplants and the three aisles in the area were in total disarray. The school supply section was virtually empty, the out door garden area was mostly empty space. It's the second time I've made a trip to this Walmart and left without the items I was looking for. I visited early in the morning and there were quite a few employees in the aisles but they didn't seem to be doing anything. The employees actually look sad. I said good morning to several and didn't even get a response. This is my second visit to this Walmart and I won't be going back. I thought all Walmarts were similar but this Walmart proved me wrong. I hope corporate intervenes and helps this store return to the Walmart standard I've seen in many other places. read more

This is one of the nicest Walmarts I've ever been in. Now that I think about it, the Walmarts in Lodi, Ca, Eugene, Or, and St. George, UT were super nice too. I'm talking about safe parking lots, clean stores, and normal people shopping inside. This is an exception, not the rule with Walmart. What I've come to expect at the majority of Walmarts is scary, dangerous parking lots, dirty stores, and weird people. I have to drive at least 20 miles to get to any of them any Walmarts in the treasure Valley area. This has routinely been the nicest and most well merchandised store. It was a little dicey for a while when they were remodeling but that seems to be done. The worst my spine injury gets the less I can walk so now I am mostly relegated to the electric carts. I'm grateful for them since it makes shopping less painful and I can take a few minutes to browse one otherwise I would only be able to lean against a cart while I rolled in to grab an item or two and get out fast. I hope other people with disabilities will also comment on this since I don't know if I'm the first and/or only one to have issues. Here are the issues I've experienced with my disability: 1. It's rare to find an open handicap spot in the parking lot 2. They have quite a few electric carts and I'm grateful for that but when you park them side-by-side with no space in between how is a person who can barely move supposed to crawl over them? Two trips ago I had to walk in and leave because there was no one to help get one of those darn carts out. 3. The employees were diligently working at filling the pick up orders use large rolling carts that block the isles. My last trip there weren't that many shoppers but there were a ton of these employees. There were many places in the store I simply could not go because The employees wouldn't move, weren't paying attention and apparently didn't hear me when I politely said excuse me which most people would turn around and say oh I'm sorry and remove themselves as an obstacle. The employees park the big carts and then walk up and down the aisles looking for what is on their list so half the time they weren't anywhere near the big blue rolling bins they use for pick up. Every single one of them also park their cart on an angle to the aisle instead of squishing it right up against one side so that all carts could get by. Only people walking without a cart could go down the aisles. 4. Quite a few isles had other obstacles such as boxes stacked for unloading, shelves to close together and displays. 5. Having only two checkout lines with assistance is crazy! Some people don't like self check out and I don't blame them. Others flat out can't use self check out. The few positives of this trip are for people who like a well-stocked pantry: - The Walmart brand of canned veggies was rolled back to just two cents higher than price is about a year ago. this was just green beans corn etc. but it beats paying twice the price! - Auguson Farms was fairly well stocked although no proteins such as chicken, beef or ground beef. I believe the prices have come down on those as well. - The produce section looked decent. read more

Needed 4 new tires installed on our truck, and searched for tires based on the OEM equipment on the website. Purchased 4 tires and scheduled an appointment to have them installed. When we went to have them installed, the Auto center said the 245/75R16 111T tires were too low of a load rating, and they couldn't install them. The OEM sticker in the door indicated that it originally came with 245/75R16 109 tires, so the 111 load rating was more than adequate. They either didn't order the tires like they were supposed to, or were too lazy to install them. The tires they recommended - 245/75R16 120R's show incompatible on the Walmart website due to the speed rating being lower than OEM. I'll never be back. read more

We came here & asked if we could stay over 1 night. They said yes. We haul RV trailers. Flying J truck stops in the area do not accommodate box truck or RVs in the front., or back for that matter, and believe me we checked them all in the area. Which took up time & $$$. (You might ask why we don't stay in a motel. Well we Cary so much stuff with us, & if a motel had a bug problem... it would be insane to get rid of in a truck that you spend 18 to 23 hrs a day in... plus we have to drag all those things into the motel with us incase they get stolen..) This is a nice sized Walmart & has friendly staff. It's very clean, bathrooms are maintained regularly. The parking lot is so clean too. It was a good experience getting groceries here. This review is based on the order online and pick up in store service. You used to have to go to the pick up counter, if no one was there, you'd have to press a button and wait for them to come, look up your order, wait for them to go get it, and then you have your order. It wasn't bad .... because they are really great on customer service at this location. But now they have a tower right when you walk in to the door over on the pharmacy and home side, you hold your phone/barcode up to a little window, and your package comes out lightning fast. I mean really fast. I was scratching my head just amazed by technology and really how quickly my order came out. It makes the order online pick up in store process super easy, timely, and convenient. read more

Every time I shop at this, Walmart, there is no cashiers When you talk to somebody or even the manager, they could care less I am somebody who is older, so I appreciate the service. I don't want to use the self check out and if there is a self check out, I will walk away and leave all my stuff and go somewhere else who can help me. Every time I ask for help, there's several cashiers standing around doing nothing just talking to each other ignoring customers. Customer service is what needs to be brought to this location because they don't have it. read more

All the Walmarts I've ever been too have been a haven for chaos, crime and rude people. Because of this, I never thought I'd actually spend the time reviewing a Walmart. My very first time there, I had traveled at 11 o'clock at night. First off, I was blown away by how incredibly safe it was (which speaks volumes for the whole of the area as well). When I walked in, I couldn't believe how clean, organized and relaxed everything felt. It was as if everyone had been shopping at 12 o'clock in the afternoon, like it was the most normal thing. The staff was very personable and pleasant. I was promptly assisted (with a smile) and when I couldn't find the item I was searching for, the staff member led me right to where the item could be found. Since then, my family and I had shopped here a second time and our experience was just as pleasant. This is by far the best Walmart I've ever shopped at. read more

I was in Walmart on Saturday and shopped for about an hour. At nearly every turn I had to work around a stocker. I go to check out, and of the 10 lanes with a cashier, only two of them were manned. The line to check out was wrapped around the corner which was easily a 45 minute wait to check out. Zero sense of urgency by the management! This Walmart is really nice. It usually doesn't take long to find an employee for help if you need it. That alone is huge for me! They take the time to answer my question or help me find something. It is clean and well stocked, and not overly crowded. I've used the pharmacy, bakery & grocery pick up, and had good experiences with all of them. The only reason I took off one star, is because there aren't many cashiers working the registers. They heavily rely on us checking ourselves out. read more

I have only used the curb side pick up at this location a couple times. This service is very convenient especially for people like me with a bunch of little kids. If your pick up order is delayed they will send you a text informing you. This location is fairly new and there are plenty of parking spots for the store and for pick up. I started shopping here about 6 years ago. It was clean and always stocked up. What the hell happened? If there isn't a million personal shoppers in your way, that are rude and act like customers are in their way! I'm the last few years, this store has gone to crap! Constantly out of normal stuff. Stock is rarely rotated. I love getting on the floor to reach for a gallon of milk, that's way in the back. Their management team is so high and mighty too. They walk around like there aren't 2 checkers with 15 people or more in each line! Spending all their money on people hidden away in a room to make sure you're scanning both those cans of canned vegetables! They're more worried about loss prevention, than they are the things that got them there! Though they claim they bank nearly a 100 million in that store each year! read more

We were browsing around looking to buy things when we noticed that employees were stalking us. They eventually approached us and accused us of being suspicious. The workers then told us that we should know exactly what we want to buy if we were going to shop there, instead of browsing in different parts of the store. We told them that we meant no trouble and that we were there to shop, but they kept following us in a big group. We felt very uncomfortable as their numbers continued to grow, and we didn't even have the chance to find what we came to pay for. Just because we are teenagers does not mean that we are causing havoc. We were only people trying to shop for things that we wanted and we did not deserve to be put in an uncomfortable situation to the point where we had to leave the store. This is kind of a small Walmart, but it's clean and seemed to be mostly stocked. They were COMPLETELY out of baking powder when I went, which is so odd. It's not prime baking season either, so it's perplexing. Other than that, it was a good place to shop. read more

I take walmart for what it is. Cheap and easy. And as long as the store is clean and the shelves are stocked then I am happy I don't go for the excellent customer service or the employees knowledge of a product. I go there cause I can get 99% of everything I need in 1 trip. Yes sometimes u have to wait a bit to check out cause they have 2 checklanes open but I go into it expecting this so it doesn't bother me. This is one of Wal-Mart's smaller format store so it's more condensed and I feel cleaner and nice and easier to get around. It's after homecoming and my 3 friends and I went in to get snacks after the dance. We walked around and an older lady came up to us and said we need to buy something or get out. So we understood and grabbed our snacks and when I was at checkout we hear the lady working was talking to the customer next to us and she says something like "I don't understand why these 4 teenagers decide to come to a Walmart after their dance. I mean I get that it's cold outside, but they don't have to come here. When I was their age I would of put on some jackets and sat by a bonfire." I did not feel welcomed and considering that we are teenagers. We could be doing much worse things than going to Walmart for snacks after a dance. I felt very unwelcome on the premises. read more

This is my favorite Walmart. Great location, friendly staff, never overly busy. I recently took my car in to get an oil change, tires rotated and balanced. There is always a decently long wait at the Walmart in Nampa. These guys got my car right in and were done in 45 minutes. I talked to two employees while getting my car done and both were very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this Walmart and their auto center!!! read more

The greeters and cashiers are all very nice. The only thing I can really complain about while shopping is all of the people with the giant carts who are EVERYWHERE shopping for the online customers. I can never catch a break they are literally always in front of whatever product I need blocking the aisles. But here's what really seals the deal-If you ever need to go to the Customer Service desk any good experience you have had here will be ultimately diminished by the attitude of the older woman with short dark hair behind the counter. She is awful, rude, and has no business in customer service at all. I have written to management about my issue, as its way too long to write in here. I'm sticking to Albertsons and Target for now on. This place doesn't deserve my money. read more

He tells me no so I ask if we can page someone to come help me and he said no there's no way for him to. Beyond annoyed at this point I just leave. I frequently go to this Walmart for groceries toiletries and miscellaneous . The store is clean the isles are big , on a weekend you will wait and check out for a bit but it's not long compared to Costco ! I absolutely love this Walmart. Aside from the obvious reasons like low prices and the convenience of being a one stop shop, this location is the best! The store is always clean and well stocked. The one thing that sets this store apart is the employees. From the second you walk into Walmart they make you feel like family. The main greeters on the market side entrance are Chuck & Kurt. The two of them are not only super funny & welcoming, but they take a few minutes to get to know you. My family has really gotten to know Chuck during our Walmart visits and we just love him! Another great employee who works in the deli is Bailey. She is always super friendly and eager to help. She is really quick at getting my meat and cheese sliced. Bailey always makes sure to put paper in between the slices of cheese to prevent them from sticking together. She is an absolute asset to the store!! Then there's Tanya! I look at her as though she is the queen of the store. She usually works in self checkout and is always helping people get through the line while being super friendly. Tanya is really funny and always has a joke to tell you. She also makes sure to tell everyone about the Walmart app & the savings catcher feature. I can't say enough about this location. Walking into this store is like taking a step back in time to when people were friendly and cared about others. read more

I will be so happy once WinCo is open so that I no longer have to shop at WalMart. Where to begin - stocking throughout some of the busiest times of the day. When combined with the employees doing shopping for the pickup service, the aisles are packed. In addition, most of the employees act like they're doing you a favor by allowing you to shop in the store. I can't tell you how many times I've had them walk right in front of me without a word. The employees shopping for the pickup orders don't seem to be the least bit concerned if you need to get something they're parked in front of. Despite the fact that they always seem to be stocking throughout the day, they are completely out of stock of many items every time I go there. It is amazing how I can shop at WinCo and never run into any of the problems. I've heard some of the other WalMarts in Boise are better than this one, but would recommend you avoid the WalMart on Ten Mile. read more

Tried to find a printer in the electronics department. Found the empty spot where the printer I wanted once inhabited. Asked the clerk about it. I swear she turned her back on us as she was talking, and said, "it's not here." I waited several beats for her to suggest perhaps checking to see if they had anymore in stock...didn't happen. So I inquired. "No," she said with her back still turned to us, "if it isn't on the shelf, we don't have it." And then she walked off into Walmart oblivion. Surly customer service seems to be epidemic. I really try to buy locally, but it's as if local stores dare you to spend your money at their store and you feel so grateful if finally find some one does his or her job. So, from now on, whenever I need anything other than food, I will buy it on Amazon where I receive excellent customer service and competitive prices. read more
