Target used to be a favorite place to shop, and it still has a wide and fun assortment of "stuff" in virtually every category. This particular location, however, has gone downhill and frankly, it's tainted my feels for the brand/chain in general. It's always been a chore getting in and out of this store (bordered by Eagle and Chinden); customers and staffers alike share strategies and hacks to get themselves out of the lot and going the right direction, LOL. Even worse though, is the recent challenge of simply maneuvering WITHIN the store. Since early last fall, I noticed that everytime I went in, no matter time of day, there were boxes and unshelved product stacked everywhere, with Target peeps working hard to get merchandise onto shelves. I'd have to move two or three aisles away to simply get through to another part of the store. But (shrug), I thought it was for Black Friday. I went back a few times between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and found exactly the same thing...(shrug) it was Christmas. But, ever since, and over the handful of times I've been in--even to just pick up online orders, the store has continued to be a hot mess. Part of my going to Target was for a more pleasant and "fun" experience than other similarly stocked and priced chains provide. if you are a target fan like me. They started being like any regular corporate that is all about making more money. The issue I have is that they removed all screens at checkout to see how much you pay when they ring your items. So, they literally decided to hide that info from the costumer. Been like this last several months. Though it was just transitioning while they change the Corvid plexiglass and such. No. It's how it is now. I asked about it several times. The idea is that Americans are naive and they don't care about paying whatever they decide should be the price. Prices in the stores and online don't match the ones at checkout so if you are not diligent about checking your invoice and comparing to how much they should have cost, you pay a totally different price. I needed to go to costumer service after they ringed 4 different items differently. It's so odd!! I complained to the store manager once I understood they are not bringing those screens back. We are new to town and Target back home was always a fun way to shop and pass some time with my little girl. We really like this location. Neat and clean. I have a difficult time with restroom visits with my toddler because everyone knows kids like to touch everything and I'm happy to say this location, bathrooms were clean and made the process that much easier. read more

Although this is not a Target Superstore- it is a Super Store in my opinion! From the full service Starbucks inside to the (limited) groceries available- this can be a one stop shop. Their sales are legit & the staff are always friendly. Clothing for the whole family can be tried on in their nicely-sized fitting rooms. Although it can be a bit tricky getting out of the parking lot back onto Eagle road... the parking lot seems more spacious & more handicap spots than other stores. I'm a big Fred Meyer fan- but this store & location suits my needs well now- as a bit less overwhelming than the larger Fred Meyer stores- yet with nearly the same variety of merchandise. read more

I have been a very long-time (many decades) Target customer: I am cutting up my Target card today. I cannot condone or have anything at all to do with any company that puts on their shelves toddler clothes with sexual messages and "Tuck-friendly" bathing suits for very young children and targets extremely young children with sexual messages. In most states exposing under-aged minors to sexual content is still illegal, even if some of them have recently began to refuse to enforce those laws. This is completely irresponsible and Target has forgotten the fact that their revenue went sharply down after they turned their bathrooms into child grooming closets last year. Our local stores refused to take part, thank God, but the national chain did not. My last purchase with Target was last night and I will not return unless they return to being a family-friendly venue and refuse to take part in the grooming & sexualization of young children. Usually when a remodel is done it makes things more convenient. Not when they take out over 1/2 the dressing rooms. One family with 3 kids trying on things held up the dressing rooms for about 30 minutes. Granted, it was a Sunday afternoon so I can take some of the blame for being there at a busy time. New remodel is nice but some things seem so out of place. Design is sleek and modern. I'll always shop at Target but maybe at less busy times. read more

Nice location, clean, parking lot easy to get in and out of, so I'm a happy camper! Only gripe is that they didn't have my dog food in stock and I had to go elsewhere for it. I only needed dog food on this trip but I left with mustard, a phone charging cord, and a hula hoop instead. You gotta love a store that is consistent and reliable and one where you can get an assortment of different categories of products in one place. If only you stocked more Nutro Chicken Adult dog food! Me, my fiance, and toddler daughter are avid collectors of Disney Pixar Cars... so avid we visit every target we come across & routinely check the target we live by currently in Albany, Oregon. When visiting the Target of off Eagle rd, we were very pleased to work with Julia who was working back in the holiday section. Julia went above and beyond to check for the cars we wanted and even double check when I needed one more we were missing. She was beyond sweet and helpful. Nice staff. The staff makes the store in my opinion! It's easy to get sucked into the mundane day to day tasks a job can provide, but this staff at THIS location is on it. I called in awhile back about searching for Elderberry gummies, and Melatonin drops for my kiddos before we headed out of town to Nashville. With two young kids, traveling out to try and find specific items is no easy task before a trip! We were crunched for time. I called into other places (not target) and got half answers, not willing to check, or I don't think so answers. I compare this store to a McDonald's Express... you know, the ones with no soft serve machine and only half the menu items. It is very conveniently located for me, so I stop in if I need basic towels or pillow cases, a beach bag, stuff like that. The food section is really just for convenience, nothing beyond basic here. I shop at Target if I want to avoid driving the extra couple miles it takes me to get to Fred Meyers or WalMart and the busy parking lots where I always momentarily forget where I parked. I find the Target Customer Service desk to be very helpful and responsive, and I also like Bullseye better than the big yellow happy face. read more

This is actually a review for their crap portrait studio. If you don't mind being herded like cattle and allowed not one iota of patience for your two-year-old, then you might like to purchase a terrible photo that was haphazardly taken of your child. I have even visited this studio and they have taken what I thought was 15 minutes worth of what seemed to be like great photos, but turns out they forgot to turn their flash or something on and nothing turned out. Then they allowed me a few more minutes and that's it because the camera automatically turns off and they couldn't break whatever phantom laws the have. On top of that, you are expected to wait around the store for more than an hour so they can put together a slideshow of tacky crap they add to your photos so as to make them look like they are from about 1998. Here is my advice, spend more time during the photoshoot and less putting together the slideshow that I don't want to buy. read more

Huge lines, low product stock, and unhappy employees make this one of my least favorite target locations, unfortunately. I turned 21 in 1990. Now, don't get me wrong, I would love to believe that I still look 21, but I don't. Doesn't seem to matter though. Target has decided that they card everyone. No exceptions. While this is a fine policy on paper, it is rather stupid in practice. I get to the checker. I am old enough to be her dad. Even worse, if you do a bit of math, I am close to being old enough to be her granddad. Yikes. But she was adamant. She would no sell me a bottle of cheap wine. She said, "it's the law." I asked for a manager. He came out from the back and says, "it's the law." I reminded him that the actual law is that it is illegal to sell alcohol to someone under the age of 21. There is no law about seeing an ID. But that is a way to check someone's age if you're unsure. With me, you can't be unsure. He said, "we're protecting our customers." I asked, "what are you protecting me from.....convenience?" In the end, I got my wine. And it was .50 cents cheaper than Albertson's. But still annoying. read more

This store is awful at linking their online purchases to in-store pick up. The customer service Dept is unable to assist customers with online purchases, even when there is an option for in-store pick up. This is a huge inconvenience for customers. An online order was also accidentally canceled by an employee when I went to pick up a different item ordered online. This picture studio, tucked away in the back of a Target, is a hidden gem. Tina, the only worker and photographer was very nice, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Prices are competitive for professional pictures. If you need pictures taken and don't want to go to a private studio that will likely cost an arm and a leg, give this place a call. Not happy. Went to buy computer speakers. Website said they were $10.99 online price. I get to the store and they cost me $14.99 plus tax. Why the difference? Website doesn't show store prices. They made an extra $4 off me today but they'll lose a lot more because I won't be back. The $14.99 makes them more expensive than Walmart - and at least their website prices are accurate. Also spent some time looking for them. Staff standing around talking to each other, but nobody thought to take the time to help me out. Also just two checkouts open. I check availability every single day it showed availability of two I purchased a unit (after removing second from cart!) it purchased a plan for protection got a notification it will be ready then got a notification three hours later that it's not available anymore and I can get a refund!! I prefer this store over the one on Milwaukee- it's larger, cleaner, brighter, and seems to be more well stocked. I am ALWAYS asked multiple times if I am finding everything I need, so it's nice to know there's someone around to ask. I absolutely LOVE the holidays. I like the baking, the wrapping of gifts, the shopping, the lights. Well that was till I had to deal with Target and their sporadic pricing vs. their internet pricing. Apparently, Target.com "is a separate entity from Target" and the stores do not have to honor their prices although the website shows the store ads and returns of purchases online can be returned to the stores. This is ridiculous. I don't care whether it is a store or online, one company should have the same pricing...period. In regards to the specifics of my issue, I went to purchase Bey Blade Metal Masters. The first day I purchased them, they were on sale for $4.99. The second day I went back to get a couple more, they were on sale for $4.22. The third day, I looked online first to find they were now $4.99 but were also buy one get one half price. I went into the store to get a price adjustment only to be told that they do not honor online pricing and that they are not affiliated with the website. I found this hard to believe but went home to do the purchase online only to find that you could not buy the item online - you were referred back to the store. This is ridiculous to me and feels like false advertising because the product is advertised but you cannot actually buy it. In speaking with a manager at the Target store, she had no interest in resolving this for me and was relatively unsympathetic concerning my frustration and left me on hold only to never return to my call. I have been a Target customer ever since I was a small child and this is making me reconsider my loyalty to this company. Be careful. Our photographer was pleasant to work with but she lacked experience. We do have a large family so maybe she didn't have a lot of experience with that but the poses were bad. There were shadows, some of us looked tiny or huge compared to the others, and you couldn't see the full face on some people. I honestly wish we would have just taken them at home. Unfortunately our son was leaving to go home the next morning so we had to go with what we had so I purchased the lot to download at home. Not sure if I will even bother making copies of them. read more
