You can see from across the street how do incredible this place is. The big windows allow you to get a great idea and you are truly drawn in. There is so much to look at. SO MUCH! It's awesome. It reminds me of a honey craft type store that I would shop at with my mom when she lived back home...and the type of store we would still go to together. She would LOVE this store. However, I'm pretty sure this isn't the typical type of little craft store lol. Everything looks like a homey antique, but (and yell at me if I'm wrong) I'm pretty sure everything in there is brand new. The store is legit brilliant. You could spend a GREAT amount of time in there and still miss something haha! They have so much! Wait, I said that already, huh? Well, I'll probably say it again because OMG! So much! Hahaha! The lady working there was very nice. Immediately asked if we needed help and after a bit asked again. Great customer service. Every piece in there is so unique and wonderful. I'm don't want repeat myself too much here haha! One thing, it's a cute little store with SO MUCH (See, I keep saying it lol) and it is a north end store. So, expect to pay a little more at this place. The location, sure, but more so because of how unique their stuff is. Lots of things for all over the house and outside your house. Lawn ornaments and whatnot. Really Is a beautiful store. I'll definitely go back, I'll definitely bring newbies there because IIIIIII am no longer a newbie! I was interested in a small dining table and told her that I preferred a "white glove service", so the table would be put together for my daughter upon arrival. She said it was not a problem, but that it was expensive. I was fine with that and asked for the service. It came up less expensive than she thought on her computer and shrugged it off as a discount and put the order through, handing me my receipt, which I left with. Weeks later, my daughter said she had called about rescheduling the delivery for when we should be home, but they weren't able to do that, or that she would be called prior to delivery and at that point, would be able to reschedule, which made no sense to me, so I decided to call since I was the original purchaser of the table - my name was on the receipt. When I called, there seemed to be a lot of confusion about where my order was and where it was going. After being put on lengthy holds multiple times, the gentlemen who was helping me told me that white glove service is not available for the item I purchased and he wasn't sure why I was told that. Well, neither was I! Long story short (or shorter) is that they had to cancel my order and I had to reorder it to change the delivery dates, and that wasn't even very specific. It changed again on it's own and fortunately, it worked out to when my daughter was home, but I expected more from this company. The sales person should have been better trained at the store, and the shipping delivery should have been easier to change. I mean, people work and go out of town and have lives. I honestly really like West Elm products and the people who work in their stores. I've never had a poor experience in the past, but maybe I never had a reason to really use their customer care line. It was complicated, to say the least. I still recommend their products, but cross your fingers that everything works out on the delivery end. If you can take it home yourself, then you probably should.

Originally the sectional we wanted was back ordered for months but Josh was able to get us on a pre-order and it ended up coming a month before they promised. Delivery was great, the company called me to schedule a time and they came in and put the whole sectional together for us. This sectional was an amazing price for how large, sturdy and comfortable it is. Its modern design alone is worth a lot more than $4k. We also ordered a dining table and picked it up at their Boise location. I was able to come at the scheduled time and they helped load it into my truck. The dining table is also high quality and has held up nicely around my three crazy boys. Thank you so much Scandinavian Design for helping us find affordable furniture without sacrificing on quality. Buyer Beware on the Titus Sectional and Scandinavian Designs…read more We purchased a sectional on 1/18/26 along with the extended warranty from the Boise store. This is our 4th sofa sectional from various locations purchased from Scandinavian Designs/Dania, and it will be our last. There is a significant tear on the underside of one of the recliners. It seems reasonable to me that it should be business as usual to assure your client has a non-damaged/new sofa and repair quickly when notified of damage. I have been going back and forth with the company for the better part of 2026, and I still have a damaged recliner as part of our sectional. Since this happened to our family, I have heard negative feedback from several other customers about their experiences with the sales staff both pre and post sales at various locations in Idaho. I am reminded of this company from their big signs throughout the city about being a locally owned high end furniture store. At this point, I have spent a signficant amount of my personal time trying to get a "high end/family owned/local" company to do the right thing and stand behind the product they are still selling on their floor. I do not have any information at this time that suggests the company is doing anything at all to do right by us and replace the damaged recliner. When I compare this to our experience at DeMeyer furniture store, it could not be more different. DeMeyer staff/quality/pre-sales/post sales and returns were all done with such care to us as a customer.
