Gorgeous furniture - rude AF sales lady. Maybe she's the owner most people have had an issue with...she needs to be checked LOL. I've gone in multiple times to just browse, as well as help my sister and her husband pick out some furniture pieces - which are gorgeous. Every time, the gals on the floor are mildly friendly at best and definitely pretty pushy. The last time I was in, I asked about a piece I'd seen awhile back that I now have room for and was interested in. The oldest and rudest of the ladies that work there abruptly told me it was discontinued, and that she'd remembered seeing me in before (with the tone and subtext of "and have never bought anything"). I continued to explain to her that I was actually looking to make a purchase and again mentioned my interest in the "discontinued" lounge chair. She then took my email down and said she'd send me info on the chair or something similar, but of course never did. I'd love to give my business to a local luxury furniture store - but with that attitude and shite customer service... I'll just continue to order online from CB2, Industry West, Arhaus, Maiden Home .... literally anywhere else. Comparable in price and sexiness, but skip the nasty. This place is literally the worst. Why? Arrogant people -- the owner is absolutely horrendous / and full of herself. Mediocre furnishings and art. What you'll get is attitude because they arent many options. They certainly act like Tier 1 city quality: Miami, San Diego, or Austin but strangely peddle massively overpriced garbage. It sucks that Boise doesn't have many choices for luxury furnishings, but these folks wouldn't last a day in any normal big city. They will go out of business. read more

I am disabled and use service dog. I entered business with my CERTIFIED service dog that was wearing a vest and was immediately confronted by man who said "is that a REAL service dog". he was completely rude and that is not allowed under the law. under the law you can ask what service does the dog provide. He missed out because I was there to shop for decorating my new home. read more

I typically do not write reviews but my experience today at this store was horrendous! My girlfriend and I were spending the day together shopping for home decor items. We stopped at Echelon and looked around. The staff was not friendly and I had to ask what the price of several decor items were. I was interested in buying a metal tray that was on the wall for my coffee table. I asked the clerk how much the big one was and she looked it up and said $129. I told her I would take it. As we were looking around, she came up and said that it was $229. I was still interested even though it was more than I wanted to spend. I asked if it didn't work, could I bring it back and was told "No". Then I wanted to find a like size coffee table to see how it might fit. They did not have a coffee table similar in size so I asked if we could just sit it down so I could look at it. The sales rep directed us to a table and she sat it down. My girlfriend was with me and pointed out that it was really warped. We looked at the back of the tray at which point a very aggressive man (possibly owner) came up and told us "I know what you're doing"; you can't take any pictures. He kept saying "I know what you're doing". I explained that I wanted to buy the tray but was trying to determine if the size was right since they have a no return policy. He kept interrupting me and told me and my friend "to get out" and continued to badmouth us as he followed us out the door. He also accused us of coming into the store to determine who was the maker of the item so that we could look on the internet and find it cheaper. He was extremely rude and made us feel like criminals. Both my girlfriend and I were shocked at how mean and nasty he was. I have never in my life been treated like this before and yelled back at him that I would give his store a bad Yelp review. Not sure how they stay in business! read more

I fell in love with a sectional in here. Prices are not low. But since I was hunting for one for the new house for a while, we decided to shell the big amount and go for it. I got samples. Which can only be checked out for 24h!! Not so great. Since you are shelling big bucks for it. Figuring you can mull the options for a few days. Nope. You can check out, return and check out again. But they were kind and let me keep it for another day. It was all great until we got to actual ordering of the sectional. Suddenly, many many many issues came up. Sales rep quoted me wrongly for prices. Then they couldn't find the sectional to order. Then the sizes they gave me were wrong... on and on and on. I decided I still wanted that sectional. Was so hoping. Nay. Crossing all my fingers, for no mistakes in ordering. Then... 12 weeks due date of ordered sectional. Then, over paying for sectional I didn't order. Crediting it back. A serious sh*t show customer service. I almost took off the head of one sales person. steam was coming out of my ears. Marc and Ashley are very proficient. Only ask for them if possible. Fast frw 12 weeks and I got my sectional. $75 delivery with assembly. No payment upon delivery as discussed ahead. Had to suggest just paying with cc over phone instead of their suggestion to "come down to shop on day of delivery to pay remaining balance". face palm. Who does that nowadays?! 3 stars for the Furniture only. Sectional is one of the best pieces of furniture in my house. Not sure it was worth all the trouble with this staff but for sure very beautiful and comfortable. read more

I really love Echelon. They always have an ever changing unique selection of eclectic designs that are special and not cookie cutter like most every store around. I can spend an hour or two and never see everything;it's not that it's so large but the way it's payed out and the pieces are so interesting! The staff is very helpful and has bent over backwards to look for something I saw and didn't purchase a few months prior. I send so many people there. The team at Echelon are as good as they come!!! Jamie, Amy and Tina were so clutch in helping me to design my living room, dining room and bedroom spaces. They provided their expertise while also allowing me the creative space to create my own unique vision. They moved furniture around the store to stage the pieces so that I could see how it would come together. I was able to get most of the furniture within a couple days, as I bought floor models. The delivery team was seamless and they got me all set up without any hitches. Jamie keeps me informed when pieces come in that fit my design style. I worked with Marc and he was awesome! He found me affordable choices and ordered them out of his catalogs. We found out right before Christmas, although the bookshelf arrived, that the desk was back-ordered months. I went to the store to make sure I still wanted the bookshelf, I then paid the delivery charge to have them build it and deliver it the same day. To solve my urgent need for a desk, Marc suggested another place. As it turned out, I found it! I didn't want to have to pay for another delivery charge, so I called Marc and his team came to me, (at a competitor's store) and picked it up at no additional charge. Excellent selection for modern and mid-century modern furniture and home goods in the Boise area. They have a great selection in store, but also have the ability to source items via their in-store manufacturer catalogs. Items appear to rotate in on a fairly regular basis but they can apparently order items you had your eye on even if no longer on display. We picked up four very nice brass bar stools, and ordered a dining room table. They told us the table was about two months out, but it arrived early (thankfully). We're very happy with the purchases, and didn't have any issues with our order. Delivery crew was polite and efficient. read more

We are building a new custom home in Meridian with one of the area's premier builders with a 40+ year history and builder of plenty of Boise's "Parade Homes". When we received our welcome packet from them (on many things) there was information on Echelon Fine Home. When it came time to start shopping for furniture for the new home we visited just about every furniture store in the area. The moment we went into Echelon we could tell that the experience would be different and different it was! This was a white glove experience from start to finish with no pressure and an awesome experienced home design specialist named Christine who had many years experience and an impeccable knack for working with both our taste and introducing new 'flair'. Christine came out to the new home while it was still in the framing process to look at the layout and measuring areas. She helped us stay within our overall budget too which is important. If you are looking for service, selection and a wonderful experience, look no further. Also, Amy and her husband (owners) are a small business owner who started out during the recession and survived by providing the services that they do so well at. Store has a great selection of home furnishings. Really fun - creative items for your home. We had great sales person Brandi and I mean great. Creative- understands the client and takes time showing you potential ideas to consider. I was taking a photo of a chair and got yelled at by some woman close by- I was shocked when she said we don't allow picture taking of the products. That was weird! Come to find out she's was the owner. We had spent over $4,000.00 and upon leaving do you think the owner could have said " Thank you for your purchase or we appreciate your business?" NO! She doesn't even say hello when entering the store! She clearly needs an attitude adjustment and go back to communication 101 for customers- horrible - unprofessional store owner. Why is she even in the business? She could make a rock cry I bet. Beware when walking into store - she's not friendly! Shame on her for not being nice to customer/ clients! Brandi is excellent at what she does as sales associate! One of the best I have ever experienced. I only go back because of Brandi and her professional style and knows her products! Ashley was amazing! I have been shopping for a new couch for 2 and a 1/2 years and do not enjoy the process. I had been into echelon a couple of times but got overwhelmed and left. The last time I walked into echelon Ashley greeted me and started asking me questions about my once and needs in a couch. Within 15 minutes she had identified 3 couches that we're going to fit my needs. She kept it fun light professional and direct. A special ordered the couch she gave me an estimated date The couch came in 2 1/2 weeks I had a schedule. Have had the couch now for a couple weeks and we love it! Absolutely the worst place ever! Do yourself a favor and don't even go in!!!! With their staff and customer service I will be surprised if they are still in business within a year!! Too many issues to even go into details except to say I purchased 2 items, didn't get one and the other was damaged and their staff just laughed and hung up on me and that was from the owner.
