Ignorance was not bliss for me as the dish did not include the bacon that it was supposed to have... but I didn't know that it was supposed to have bacon until my wife told me after I ate it. It was definitely the missing ingredient, literally and figuratively, because the rest of the dish couldn't justify the hype.
