I arranged for my goods to be packed properly without costing a fortune and they moved the container for a good price all the way. I saved over $10,000 or more by doing this way compared to my friend's full-service method when he moved from Vancouver. So if you can handle packing your own stuff into boxes and getting a local guy who knows how to pack a container then you are good. And yes maybe a TV will break along the way but ours did not and $10,000 buys a lot of TV's. read more

Not being able to make it to town in an hour, I told them I would be there on Monday for pick up. As life does, Monday got away from me and I wasn't able to come down until Tuesday to pick up my car. They were super friendly, nice, and helpful. I was able to give them my information and drove away in less than 30 minutes. The customer services was outstanding!!! I just shipped a Tesla model X from Oakland to Kauai and found that due to the very long time in transit the battery has gone almost completely dead while the car sits in the port for a week in Honolulu waiting to ship on to Kauai. Matson will not charge the battery nor allow anyone else to charge the battery while the car sits and the battery drains. Matson employees have told me they have had many problems with electric cars and are not prepared to handle them. When my car finally arrives on Kauai I will have to have it hauled by a tow service to a charge station which will be needlessly expensive and a total waste because of Matson's outdated and unhelpful policies. All they need to do is have car owners sign a liability waiver and plug their cars in to a simple 120v wall plug when needed and save a huge nightmare. This clear lack of care and lack of updated service is terrible. When I called Matson Customer Service the officious agent hung up on me as I asked her for suggestions how I could get help before the obvious disaster of dead battery happens when the car finally arrives after more than 3 weeks after shipping. I had a Custom built dump truck made in California and the company that built it used Matson to ship it to Hawaii. When I picked up my truck I was not offered the opportunity to do a post delivery inspection and I appeared to be hurried off of the premisis. I had waited 3 months for my truck so I was excited to drive it. As I drove away I noticed there was a large gouge in the dump bed and immediately returned to the trailer to make a report. Only then was I offered an inspection report from California noting other damage that had occurred to the front of the truck. I was told to file a claim and that Matson would cover the costs. I filed the claim and submitted all supporting documents but was denied the claim for the large damage which estimated repair was $17k but issued a check for $1070 for the damage to the front of the truck. They state that since I left the lot prior to reporting damage it is their policy to deny any claims. Which makes no sense since they paid the small claim thus acknowledging damage had occurred while the truck was in their possession. Dropped off my vehicle to be shipped from Hawaii to the mainland, they did vehicle inspection and all was good. Went to pick up vehicle at matson in Oakland did a quick walk around and drive vehicle home, upon getting home washed vehicle and I found I pretty significant dent which was not made obvious at the time of pick up due to all the salt on the vehicle. I immediately filed a claim went and got estimates from 2 body shops. My claim was denied because I did not point out the damage upon vehicle pick up. Matsons inspection report had indicated no damage when I dropped it off. But because I did not point it out at the time of pick up it was denied 2500.00 worth of damage caused by some idiot who can't drive and matson will not honor anything. If you ship with them take a fine tooth comb and check your car before you leave, don't let them rush you off the lot. They damage vehicles and take no responsibility other then to bad so sad. 12/16/2011: I dropped off my 2007 Ford Mustang GT at San Diego Vehicle Processing Center (VPC). The American Auto Logistics (AAL) agent filled out the insurance form and explained that she was annotating the very light buffer marks present on my car. I initialed to acknowledge that there were in fact very light buffer marks on my vehicle. 01/13/2012: I picked up my vehicle at Honolulu VPC and it was filthy. The Matson Shipping Company representative explained that they were not allowed to wash the cars due to Environmental Protection Agency regulations regarding runoff from the facility. So, the representative presented me with a coupon for a free car wash. Before departing, I inspected the vehicle to the best of my ability considering that it was nearly impossible to tell what color my car was due to the excessive dirt; let alone if there was any damage present. 01/14/2012: I washed my car and immediately discovered why Matson doesn't wash the vehicles; there was an approximately 6 inch by 18 inch set of scratches all located on the left fender and driver's side door. These scratches were not annotated on the insurance form. It was a long weekend and I waited until Tuesday for the VPC to reopen. 01/17/2012: I returned to Honolulu VPC and reported the damage to my vehicle. The AAL agent looked at the damage and informed me that my insurance form indicated scratches to the clear-coat on the entire vehicle. I pointed out that the specific damage I was claiming was not annotated on the vehicle diagram but the agent refused to settle the claim. 02/15/2012: I faxed my claim to AAL with all of the requested paperwork. 02/22/2012: AAL acknowledged receipt of my claim. 02/26/2012: AAL refused to pay my claim on the grounds that the damage to my vehicle was pre-existing despite the fact that the damage was not annotated on the vehicle diagram on the form. read more

It has taken me over a year to write this. I was simply too angry before. If you have any kind of special "garage queen" type of vehicle, then find other arrangements. You are taking a HUGE gamble if you use Matson. My self built sports car was abused both coming and going. Clutch was burnt up. These guys were probably running 1/8 miles in it on the parking lots. Wires ripped out. Battery terminal loose like someone had used a pry-bar on it.. I have no idea what it went through but it was pretty effin far from professional. The drive-train VCU's are complicated on my car. I once got towed by the city improperly and had slack in the drive train until I replaced the transmission VCU and the rear differential. When I got the car back to the mainland that slack was back. That would be probably 5K right there to have fixed at a dealership. Also the lock you have to press to release they key was broken. I don't remember what all else... Something with my alarm (which I had disabled)... I'm better off forgetting or I might just go postal on these guys. I do all the work on my car myself, and like to keep it that way so it is difficult to get documentation of damage to deal with insurance companies who have every interest in NOT paying you anyway. Shipping my pride and joy was a nightmare with Matson. Find a private charter or ship in a container would be my advice if you have something special and irreplaceable. They also gave me grief about a rock chip in the windshield an hour before I needed to leave the car with them. The same chip didn't bother them on the way over but on the way back they insisted I take it to their hawaiin buddies shop to charge me 80 bucks to spit on it or put super glue at best... seems they didn't do anything at all as far as I can tell.. but they wanted to stick it to the white man so they did. My overall experience with Matson has been pretty good. Back in September I shipped my car to Seattle for our move there. It was a pretty simple process. You book your car online, follow all of their directions, and that was pretty much it. It arrived in Seattle about a week early (customer service called to let me know the car was ready), and there were no problems with the car--no dings, no scratches, ran smoothly. Well, as we all know, life happens. Our "move" to Seattle ended up just being for about seven months, and we found ourselves shipping our car BACK to Hawaii (after we already registered with WA and had WA plates...., again, life) so we used Matson again. Same thing, no hassles. A little easier coming from Seattle. Less steps (they don't do a full on vehicle examination with you there, less rules regarding Dept of Agriculture), and again, pretty smooth process. The reason why I am giving them 3 stars instead of 5 is because when I dropped off my car in Seattle, they asked if I wanted a phone call (oh, excuse me, I mean a "courtesy call") from when my car arrived. I said YES. The estimated date of arrival was April 17. I checked about a week ago, online (the iPhone app didn't work for me, had to go on my laptop to use the tracker) and it said the estimated arrival was now the 15th. Ok, cool. Even better. Well, stupid me was expecting a call, since that's what they told me. Furthermore, they charge a storage fee if you don't pick up the car within 4 days in Honolulu (it's three in Seattle if I'm not mistaken), and seeing how they tend to have your vehicle ready earlier than their original estimate, the call is kind of important. Today is the 15th. I had yet to receive a call, so I thought maybe the car is actually going to get here on the 17th. BUT, a little voice told me to check the tracker again. Lo and behold, my car was ready for pick-up on Monday, the 13th. To be fair, this wasn't the end of the world. It is still within their grace period for storage, and while I would have loved to have my car on Monday, I was so busy that day that I probably wouldn't have been able to pick it up anyway. But it's the principle. Were they EVER going to call me? What if I waited until the estimated pick up date of the 17th? That would have been 5 days (counting from the 13th) after the car arrived, and I would have been charged a storage fee. I tried calling their 800 number and it's just a recording with no way to speak to someone. I did a little google research and was able to find a direct local number (808-848-1211), and actually spoke with a human. When I asked why they didn't call me, I got the classic 'pass-the-buck' response of "that's not our responsibility at the port, the customer service center in Phoenix handles the courtesy calls." Ok, whatever. I didn't want to go in circles, I just wanted my car. My car was fine, pick up was easy. The guys at the port are really cool, I got a free car-wash coupon like others have noted. They give you a checklist of what you need to do to register your car with the state. With everyone being so friendly, I hate to subtract so many stars, but as a company, don't make promises you can't keep. I was really expecting a call, and lucky for Matson, I'm not like other people who would have raised hell, even though I was pretty pissed this morning when I saw my car had already been here for two days. So here's a warning: check their tracker religiously if you ship through Matson, don't wait on a call, and don't bother calling the 800 number if you want to speak to someone. read more

When I dropped off my 2013 Mustang GT to Matson on Maui I had 23,055 miles and exactly 1/4 tank of gas. When I picked up my car in Seattle it had 23,061 miles and when I started my car the low fuel warning light went on with only 40 miles until empty. Average new tire tread depth on cars is typically 10/32" to 11/32". The new tires I purchased were installed sometime in December. That would make the tires 7 months old with less than 1,500 miles. So how in that time period can my tread depth on the rear tires be between 4/32" and 6/32"? Uh.......because someone from Matson burned a 1/4 tank of gas and 6 miles smoking them up after I dropped it off at the Kahului docks. Matson who up to now have ignored my calls quickly responded to me when I sent them a letter informing them I would be reporting this situation to the attorney generals of Oregon and Hawaii. But when it happens twice, and when it involves shipping something as significant as a vehicle I expect to receive top notch customer service. I called Matson on two different occasions because they could not get everything done in the first phone call. Both times I received two different customer service reps who were horrible. I could literally hear them scoffing, and sighing at my questions and inquires. I'm shipping a car here, okay? I need to know all of the information about how its getting to and from my destination. They were short, rude, constantly putting me on hold because their dogs were barking in the background, and made me feel rushed through the experience. I will never ever book through Matson ever! And I will tell everyone I know who's booking a car shipment to go through another company. I called another local car shipping company, Pasha Hawaii and they did a phenomenal job. This is the second time I have used Matson. The first time I shipped it from LA to Honolulu and let me tell you it came really fast. I shipped my car a few days after my husband and I got mine first! Now I am shipping it back to Long Beach and so far it has gone well. They sent a confirmation letter, telling me that my car is actually en route to the mainland. The only thing that was a pain for me (though I understand why they do it) is when you have to have 1/4 tank of gas in order to ship. I just recently moved from Honolulu, HI to the mainland. I searched through many different car shipping companies, and I'm glad that I chose Matson! The price for shipping my car was expensive, but cheaper than most places. I made my booking online, which was very easy, and you can pay later at drop off. Starting with dropping off my car.. The process was very fast and easy, workers were friendly, and inspection was quick. I was in and out of the drop off office in less than 30 minutes (I went in around 9am). One of the main reasons I went with Matson is because they offer car tracking (some companies didn't). Right after I dropped off my car, I received a tracking number. You can track your car through an app, and it was updated frequently. They tell you that you will receive a "courtesy call" when your vehicle is ready for pickup, but I didn't! So be aware!!! And check your email constantly. The port that I had my car shipped to was Long Beach, CA.. Every port is different but this port allowed my car to be there 4 days free, and after that is $15 per calendar day. I was told that my car would take at least 2 weeks minimum, and I had received an estimated arrival date. Let me just tell you, my car arrived in the mainland from Hawaii in a week! I was still on the island when my car had arrived. BUT, it takes a few days for them to unload the cars and stuff. Very fast shipping. So, upon picking up my car. It was quick and fast. They let me check my car for any damages, and there was none. My car was perfectly fine (just dirty and dusty from the container). After that I was on my way! I would use matson again and again! Anyway, they shipped it fairly quickly. I think mine came in a week and a half, which is a lot faster than I expected it to come in. Even topped me off with some gas. The only negative for me was dropping it off. My and a buddy had to hike it from San Jose all the way up to Richmond. We took a wrong turn and actually went into Richmond. A white guy and a asian guy in two new cars. Yeah, was sweating bullets on that one until we got to the dock. Dropping it off was painless, if you make sure to follow their directions before hand and empty your car. Cost was a little bit under a grand at the time. Overall it was a good experience. I shipped my car from Long Beach, CA to Honolulu last summer (2009). I had to remove everything that was not bolted down, which was fine with me. I tracked my car on one of their vessels with their online tracking service, which is neat to see. The transport time itself took about 4 days, but it took them a few more days to process and unload the cars and cargo. The condition of my car was just as I had remembered back in Long Beach; no additional damage that I could discern. The service was friendly at both ports and straightforward. I paid about $1100 at the time. They gave me a ticket for a free car wash, but I had to go to Pearl City to redeem it. They got the job done, so why not 5 stars? Before you're allowed to leave your car for shipping, one of their staff goes through the car with you to make sure everything is emptied out and bolted down. It turns out we both overlooked something that I did not bolt down, and it was my coin tray full of coins. There were only goodies too (no pennies, nickels...) - I only had quarters in there!!! Probably $20+ worth of quarters, and the tray was empty when I picked up my car in Honolulu. I only realized it a few days later when I went to the tray to get some coins for the meter. My fault for not remembering about my coins. Regardless, I wasn't too happy about that. I'm grateful they didn't discover the amplifer that wasn't bolted down. I'd ship with them again. read more

On the day my vehicle was scheduled to arrive I called as soon as the place opened to check its status. The company has a call answering service, you don't actually talk to the company directly, and said that someone would call me back. At 10 am I went down to the location with still no phone call, after waiting an hour I was told that my vehicle wouldn't be ready till after 1400, so I left. Later that day around 1330 I had a voice mail left from the company, calling me back after 5 hours later, stating that my vehicle had not arrived. I called back three more times because of course it was the answering service, when I finally got someone, I was told that my vehicle had been available and she did not know why I was turned away or told it was not there. But of course I could not pick it up that day because they closed 15 min later. The next day I get there around 9 am, it was a short wait to get my vic but over an hour to complete claims because they damaged the defogger line on my back windshield. They had also failed to give me and other costumers the correct coupon for the car wash, noticed when we got to the car wash and it is located over 10 miles away. read more

Miss/Mrs Kristi from Matson received a claim from me in December. They shipped my truck from Seattle Washington to Hawaii. They only had it for three weeks. When I received my truck it was infested with mold. I got an email today 29 January saying that Matson ( https://www.matson.com/pov/index.htm) is not liable for mold but she "was working on getting me someone who can detail my car." However she never communicated that and now she is canceling the request. Stay away from this company. You pay your money and they don't even take care of your vehicle. read more

I have been trying to contact Matson for over a week to ship a vehicle from Hawaii to the mainland. They do not answer the phone. Their phone prompts do not work. They do not respond to emails. There are not a lot of options getting off this island so I suppose they can get away with poor customer service. read more

First thing is first I would recommend you ship your vehicle with them if you don't mind finding a few nicks, debts and scratches. Nothing too major but certainly something you might not like to see. Overall the process of booking the reservation to shop your car is easy as well as getting it to the port we took ours to the Long Beach Port. Checking in your car was easy and we felt assured that our car would arrive exactly when the reservation said it would. The customer service on the phone was great as well. It is very easy to make updates to you reservation if you need it like we did. You can track your car too with an app. Unfortunately our car did arrive at the port in Honolulu but we could 't pick it up till the next day due to the large volume of cars they had to unload. The Honolulu port guys were very nice and gave is a ticket for a free car wash cause our car was covered in salt water. Which is why I gave this a 4 star. We have shipped vehicles from San Diego to Cincinnati and Long Beach to the Big Island of Hawaii both using a 3rd party booking companies and used Horizon Lines to Hawaii and it was terrible! Week + late and no solid tracking availability! Matson was excellent!!! On a computer you can track your vessel across the ocean, and it was right on time to all ports!! The app is a MUST DOWNLOAD!! We received our car a day earlier than estimated pickup! Download the Matson App, and check it constantly! I received my curtesy call at 10:25am; but checked right at 8am and it said available!! Allowing me time to get there before they went to lunch at 11:30!!! We checked in at 11:15, and there was quite a few people ahead of me (5+). They called my name at 11:50 for Step 2 of the process. The check in ladies close at 11:30, so just make sure you're in there before then for Step 1. Step 2 stays open. Matson only services the Hilo port on the Big Island, and it is fairly easy to get to!! If you are shipping FROM Hawaii, take the extra time to CLEAN YOUR CAR! When we shipped from California to Hawaii it wasn't an issue- they just marked it dirty. In Hawaii, they are strict. Not a spec of dirt under the tire well, no leaves or dirt under the hood and they take compartments off to inspect (ie spare tire area). We have a dog and we had to spend an extra hour vacuuming out our Jeep from the dog hair, which is nearly impossible lol So take the time before! The staff in the Long Beach office are excellent, and really sweet ladies. There were a couple gentleman, but I didn't have any interaction with them. The directions to get to the port in Long Beach can be confusing. You'll follow it to Pier C, stay in the left lane marked for 'Cars Only'. Then look to your left and there is a Pick Up Drop Off sign and you'll enter there. The guard is a great guy, really really nice and friendly!!! Keep him around Matson!! Had the BEST experience with Matson!!! I booked my reservation online about a wk before it was to be shipped out of the LBC to HNL. My ETA was tentatively 10/28 but it arrived by 10/22, which I tracked online using my booking #. Upon arrival @ Matson's office, I gave them my billup form, inspected my car for damage, and drove away all within 20 mins. They were quick, friendly, and I felt like a kid with a new toy on Christmas day afterward, all for the low price of $1047. Definitely recommend 'em! read more

From my contacting them to arrange shipment, presenting the vehicles to their drop off center on Sand island, to my picking up the vehicles in Seattle I could not ask for better, pleasant and effective service. Went today around lunch time (11ish)...PACKED!! Waited for about an hour, which was standard from what other military guys told me. Just a note though, I was not doing a military pick up - I don't know how much of a difference that makes for wait time. I can tell you though, that the process was simple and quick. Booking number and ID is all you need. Staff was polite, from the man directing traffic in the parking lot, to the women working the counter, and even the driver who brought my car to me. The car wasn't really dirty when I got it, but there was some minor damage. There were these weird peeling spots of paint on my front bumper where maybe the car was rubbing up against something during transport. All in all though, a pretty decent experience. I gave it four stars, but I'm by no means a fan. I am NOT looking forward to my eastbound shipment when I move...that crowd was cray cray!! read more

I dropped my car off on a Friday at 1000am and the place was empty. I got through the entire process in less than 30 minutes, including the inspection. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. They made a really stressful process easy and seamless. My only complaint is that they shipped my car a week early, which doesn't sound bad. However, I had reserved a spot on the ship for the next week and they sent it on the ship that was already in port they day I dropped it off. So my car got in a week early and now I have to pay a week extra in storages fees. I had picked the shipment date I did so I wouldn't have to pay storage fees and I could picked it up within a few days of it arriving. I am also leaving the Hawaii and meeting my car in LA to drive it home so that added close to 100$ in money I have to spend because someone didn't follow instructions. I haven't actually picked the car up yet, so I will edit this review based on the state of the car when I pick it up. Update as of July 9, 2017 - Pick-up in LA was easy. My car arrived in the same condition it left Hawaii in. I only had to pay one day of storage fees since they messed up my shipping schedule - major bonus! Very pleased with that. Car arrived in 14 days as quoted and was a breeze to pick up. Caught them at a great time I was told! Highly recommended! Fyi- make sure fuel is below 1/4 tank, car is spotless inside and out, and most important... Have your letter from bank allowing you to ship car if financed and making payments. Their customer service needs improvement. For starters, when I talked to Andre Dawson, he was very nice and efficient. He quoted me a price of $2390 to ship my car. And we agreed on what day it would be picked up. I know exactly what date I gave them because I had just lost 2 of my brothers and was in the middle of handling their final expenses and memorials. So I know my car wouldn't be ready to ship until Saturday. About a week before they were to pick up my car, a lady from that company called and quoted the wrong date. I reiterated to her...no not on Thursday...my car won't be ready until Saturday. She finally did some calling around and we settled on the following Sunday or Monday. That was fine ...I could get my son to be there to drop off the keys as my flight left on Saturday. They didn't pick the car up on time, which caused my son to miss a day of work for nothing. They picked it up the next night around 9:30 pm! When my car was finally ready to be dropped off at the dock, I got a rude phone call from some guy named Ronnie. He charged me an extra $100. When I asked why, he wouldn't tell me. He then started to get really aggressive and wouldn't let me speak. He actually accused me of changing the pick up date several times! When he raised his voice on the phone, I raised my voice also. Then he started throwing out racist micro aggressions. Saying why are you being so violent?! I was shocked as I tried to explain to him that I know what day I told them because of the loss of my brothers. He didn't give a damn about that and insisted that I was the one at fault for the late pick up! Before my car was put on the ship I got one more call from this rude muthaf*ckah! He yelled at me again for not being able to hear him as I was in a noisy restaurant. So I had to ask him to repeat the information he was trying to give me. Bottom line...F*ck you Ronnie! I hope you lose someone very close to you and your business goes bankrupt so your kids can't eat!! Hope you and your kids have to live on the streets and depend on the kindness of others! I shipped my 2012 Honda Fit from San Antonio, Texas to Honolulu in October 2014. They were helpful in coordinating truck transport from San Antonio to their port in Long Beach. The process was simple, smooth and on time. Being so small, they packed my car into a shipping container, and were able to get it on a boat to Honolulu a week earlier than normal. That was great! It wasn't to difficult to find the location in Honolulu or get the paperwork in order, though I noted in the pick-up inspection that they'd damaged the car some (broken fog lamp, broken antenna and very dirty, greasy headliner). Having the car inspected by their contracted mechanics was easy, but once the quote was submitted they lost it. The normal turnaround for their claims is said to be 2-4 weeks, but I waited 8 weeks before getting in touch. Once I did it was approved smoothly enough, but they adjusted it to only cover 1/3 of the cost that their mechanic partners quoted. All in all the only issue I had with them was their claims department. This may have been down to their contracted truck-hauler, or their decision to pack my car in a box. Despite the significantly reduced pay-out (this is the whole reason they include insurance, I thought) I had an otherwise pleasant experience. Give them some consideration, but be VERY thorough during the inspections and keep in touch with them. Take your car on an enjoyable road trip, too, and drive directly to their ports to hand it over. read more

THIEVES, PROPERTY DAMAGE! Shipped my car to the mainland and my front bumper got damaged and my door panels were damaged! I'm guessing they literally ripped off my door panels and rear panels looking for speakers. Idk what happened to my front bumper but that got fuked up too. This car is 26yrs old and there is no way in finding parts for such a rare car. read more

I help a friend by picking up his vehicle at Matson and I heard of the difficulties of picking up shipped items and my experience with Matson was nowhere near what I've heard. Everyone at Matson was very helpful and within five minutes I was driving off with my friend's SUV. From calling to enquire whether it was possible to pick up a vehicle that is not mine, to opening the door to enquire if it was the right place, to inspecting the vehicle for damage, to driving off was very an experience in great customer service. My friend informed Matson that I was picking up his SUV and when I got there I was greeted like they were expecting me. I don't know why they have less five stars from everyone. My friend said it was the same dropping off the vehicle. A great experience--enough said. read more

Picked up our car from them after having it shipped from Atlanta. Their process is really streamlined, if you get in the door before they take their last customers (sign in by 1500). They only get one person inspect the car with one of their reps, which is kind of annoying. I got my brand new luxury car back with some new scratches after it made the journey overseas, and they offered two options: Either take $1000 cash or bring them an estimate from a body shop. Chose the latter which was smart because it amounted to more damage than $1000 would have covered. The entire time, the staff was courteous, but down to business. Although it's no fun getting your property back in less than optimal condition, it is nice to know that they are honest and didn't put up a fight about covering the damages. read more

I am not one to write bad reviews but honestly this company is horrible. I shipped my car mainland to Hawaii and in the process it was damaged. They do a pre inspection before they take the cars just incase damages happens but that was poinyl as because they take no responsibility. Matson rules the shipping industry so they know they can get away with it. Try pasha or someone else smaller. read more

I have shipped my automobiles multiple times with Matson with no problems. This last time, there was damage to my car. Matson stood tall and graciously and politely took care of the problem. I am writing a review because I do not know how to thank Angel Lutes enough for what she had done throughout my vehicle shipping process. She went above and beyond fulfilling her commitment as a shipping agent. Angel was the person who did my booking on shipping my 1965 mustang to Hawaii. My vehicle was dropped off at the port today, 03 June 2016 and it was scheduled to ship out on 11 June. Keep in mind, Matson have a ship leaves every Saturday to Honolulu and vehicles needs to be dropped off no later than Wednesday that week in order to ship that Saturday. My car was dropped off on Friday and Angel was able to find a way to get it on the vessel tomorrow, 04 June. Not only she ship my car a week earlier than scheduled but she ensured it was loaded into the garage (bottom part of the vessel) to minimize it from being exposed from salt water and other ocean debris. I've been excited on having my car since I have not seen it. I purchased it unseen from Michigan with only videos and pictures from a good friend of mine who went to checked it out for me. Angel Lutes, made my month just having my car ship a week earlier and knowing that my car is taken care of. Thank you so much Angel! I will definitely refer you to any of my friends & families needing to transport their vehicles. I am not sure if you can chose your shipping agent but if you are able to. I HIGHLY recommend Angel Lutes, she will try everything she can to help. She may not be able to work every magic but I know one thing for sure. Had no worries! It was a very smooth transaction. Other than finding the place, my gps got me all turned around and I had to stop and ask some one. It could have a better sign or talk to google and get a better route on there I didn't get the call that I was told I would get in long beach but I had been tracking it every day so that's my ocd and not wanting to pay for a rental any longer than need be. Walked in gave them my shipment number waited like 10 minutes and they took me back to inspect my car. It was just as I left it! Just dirty, which is to be expected. I came back in gave them the all clear and they gave me my temporary registration and a car wash coupon for a free wash! #bonus They were very nice and it was super easy. read more

The process or their lack of is incredibly frustrating and it has been years since I've experienced such horrendous customer service. Over all somewhat a good experience. The people in the offices are really nice but the guy working the gate is rude as hell!!! All I asked was where to park because he was so vague in telling me were to go. And he yelled at me!
