    Pepperoni Hot Honey
    Renee D.

Ordered the pepperoni & hot honey pizza, buffalo wings, and a Caesar salad -- with a crisp glass of Prosecco to keep things classy. The pizza was solid, but I was searching for the "hot" in that hot honey and didn't quite find it. The wings had great flavor but could've used more crunch -- I like my buffalo wings with a serious crisp. The Caesar salad was pretty basic -- nothing bad, just nothing memorable. Shoutout to Carlos, our waiter, who was fantastic -- friendly, attentive, and made the experience smooth. Also, Prosecco with wings, pizza, and Caesar? A surprisingly great combo. Overall, a good casual spot with solid service and a nice vibe, but a couple tweaks to the kitchen execution would've made it a standout.

Stopped here on a Saturday night and got right in on the patio next to the bar. It took awhile for someone to bring us menus. We got our drinks fairly quickly and then she took our order. There was lots of seating but some of the tables needed cleaning. It was all h The food came in a decent time. The one thing I would say is that the pizza is spicy even if you tell them you don't want any spice. We knew the pepperoni would be but I got a veggie pizza with olives, onions and mushrooms and it was still spicy. Our server somewhat disappeared after we got our food and it took awhile to get a refill and then to get our check. I also paid with cash and it took forever to return only to tell me she could not make the right change so I. had to give her a larger tip than she deserved. Overall, not too impressed. Not sure I would go back.

I've been to Matchbox a few times for dinner but I recently went for brunch. For $45, you get AYCE brunch. They have lots of different food options, my favorites being the spinach and artichoke dip, blueberry lemon pancakes, and chicken and waffles. The brunch food items come out as full plates, so I would say this brunch is probably better for 3-4 people. They also had a taco and waffle bar with a bunch of toppings. As well as a cotton candy machine, that I didn't have time to try. Service was a little slow. Overall, I was impressed by this brunch and would go again.

Surrina was professional and attentive throughout our meal. The food came out hot and fresh--exactly what you want from Matchbox and Ashburn. Will definitely be back!

Decent place to grab quick lunch. We enjoyed the hot honey pepperoni pizza and a salad. Pizza was super thin crispy crust. Service was alright and it was pretty quiet in there, however we were in there around 2:00 pm.

Sad hockey puck burgers on a roll soft enough to break a window:

This review doesn't take into account the buffet. No one in our party tried it, probably because no one working at the restaurant told us about a buffet. The brunch menu sucks to put it lightly. There are maybe 4 true breakfast options and then a bunch of meh, like sushi. Sorry, Matchbox isn't where I'm going for sushi. I did see an order and it looked like it was rolled by a toddler. Massive and loose. I ended up ordering their mini-burgers and a Bloody Mary. The Bloody Mary was one of the worst one's I have ever had had. Nothing on the rim, no ice, no celery, no nothing except for a sad little lemon wedge. The burgers were inedible. Ordered them medium and they came out as hard as a hockey puck. I ate half of one and left the rest. The onion straws that come with it was a pile of soggy trash. Our server didn't even note that my food was basically untouched. Full disclosure, I don't look like a picky eater, so it probably should have caught her attention. Then they treat you like a toddler by only providing you what they think is the right amount of condiments. I got about a TBS of ketchup for the hockey puck burgers and soggy onion strings. My 2 sons ordered the French toast, which was excellent. You get about a half loaf of bread and they gave them each about 1.5 TBS of syrup. Just bring a damn bottle out instead of making your servers run back to the kitchen constantly for more meager servings. What's sad is they changed their menu. It used to offer quite a few options for brunch, but some higher up decided it was better just to offer less. This chain always does this. Pull the good things and replace them with lesser offerings.

Had an early dinner December 31st. Lindsay G was good except she forgot to put the order in for crab dip. She did apologize. Ordered salmon which was excellent. Also ordered bean burger which we had before. Inside was good but the bread was soggy. The side apple pear salads were great and also the apple crisp dessert.

Checked out Matchbox in One Loudoun for their weekday happy hour (Mon-Fri, 3-6 PM), and it did not disappoint! The food and drink specials are a total win--especially when you're looking for quality bites and cocktails at a great value. I ordered the Old Bay wings (5 wings per order), and they were seasoned to perfection--crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of that signature Chesapeake flavor. As a martini lover, I couldn't resist the strawberry lemondrop martini--refreshing, lightly sweet, and perfectly balanced. So good that I ordered 2! I sat at the bar, which opens up to the patio, so I got to enjoy the beautiful weather from the comfort of the indoor space. The bar staff was attentive and friendly, checking in just enough without being overbearing. Excellent service all around! What made the experience even better? Supporting a Black-owned business! Matchbox in One Loudoun is part of Thompson Hospitality, the nation's largest minority-owned food and facilities management company. Love when great food, great service, and a great mission come together. Highly recommend for a relaxed happy hour with elevated bites and good vibes!

They certainly reserve "space" for private events, though I don't believe the area is concealed from other patrons. I've seen the upper level patio reserved for a party/event.

The French toast is phenomenal, the pancakes are light and fluffy, and the omelets are loaded and satisfying. If a place consistently delivers tasty food, solid execution, and keeps you wanting to come back, that earns a top rating from me. Ted's Bulletin absolutely does that. We have been to the One Loudoun location several times for breakfast, and it is consistently a great experience. That kind of consistency matters, especially for breakfast service where some places can be hit or miss. One of our favorites has been the huevos rancheros. They serve it on tostadas, which gives the dish a great crispy base and a really satisfying texture. It is flavorful, hearty, and always hits the spot. We have also had their homemade tater tots, and they are excellent. Nicely fried, crisp on the outside, soft inside, and clearly done with care rather than feeling like an afterthought side dish. Their French toast is another strong option and always enjoyable. If you are in the mood for something sweeter, it is a very solid choice. We have also tried the breakfast cinnamon roll. It is definitely generous in size. It is decent and worth trying, but it can be a lot, which is probably why we only order it occasionally. For the kids, the hot chocolate is always a favorite and something they genuinely look forward to each visit. Overall, Ted's Bulletin continues to deliver tasty breakfast food, dependable quality, and a family friendly experience that keeps us coming back. Easy 5 stars from me.

As the evening progressed, more people came in for dinner. The place has an industrial type vibe with exposed ceilings and concrete flooring. We were seated and greeted shortly after we entered. A server came along to ask us what we wanted to drink. I had a lemonade while my husband had a Coors Light. We decided to forego an appetizer after reading the descriptions and seeing that they were meant to feed more than two people. For dinner, I ordered the "Grilled Atlantic Salmon" which consists of: "grilled 8 oz. Atlantic Salmon Filet w Tamari Bourbon Glaze & your choice of side". For my side I chose "cheddar grits". My husband chose the "Shrimp and Grits which consists of: "8 Jumbo Shrimp and House Bacon sauteed w Onions & Garlic in Creole Sauce. Plated over creamy Cheddar Grits & topped w Green Onion". As for the food---I found that the salmon was properly prepared with a pink center. The tamari bourbon glaze was a nice accompaniment as it added a touch of sweetness to the dish. I wasn't impressed with the cheddar grits as I found them to be too dense with little to no flavoring. The melted cheddar cheese helped some to add flavor but I would skip ordering this side again. My husband thought that his grits were also too dense with little flavor. The sauce portion was stingy and he used it to dip his shrimp in it. He did appreciate that the shrimp were served with the tails removed and were properly cooked. Taking inflation into consideration, this dinner was reasonably priced at $58 + change before the tip.
