I tried the dragon tempera and it was so good!! The roll was definitely better than a lot of the sushi places around the area. Wouldn't of ever guessed. read more

I came twice again and the service was great per usual. If you haven't already tried the corn dogs, GO TRY THEM!!! They're the most amazing thing I've ever tried. I can never eat a regular corn dog again. They're HUGE HOT and fresh. I know they're fresh bc each order takes about 10 minutes but honestly it's worth the wait. I got the half cheese half hot dog. ALSO the meat or hot dog is CHICKEN!! So amazing. I can't get enough of this place. It's sweet, savory, doughy, cheesy, saucy, and hot! I dream about this corn dog everyday. read more

If you're interested in trying the Korean hotdog, totally recommend going for the experience. I recommend the mozzarella one -- the exterior of all are coated with sugar and the closest "like" food would be the Chinese donuts. Thought the sushi had more rice than I would normally prefer, but again, worth the experience to try. They are located in the "food area" of a market. read more

Wow. So let's just start with I love hot dogs and I love corn dogs. I'm a New York City girl and I feel like hot dogs is part of city life. These hotdogs were amazing the crust was crunchy and crispy and the filling was soft. I only got one because I wasn't sure if I was going to like it especially with the sugar but it was amazing. We went early so the line wasn't too bad and if I didn't have other places to be I would've gone more. I will definitely be back. read more

I really love H-Mart, but my experience with Mat-Jib today was awful. As I was eating my food from a nearby stall, I witnessed the manager harshly deny a Muslim girl a simple correction on her order. She initially ordered corn dogs that contained sausage in them without realizing that they contained pork, and asked to make a correction less than 5 minutes after she put her order in. She spoke to the manager, and he rudely denied her request. He belittled her, spoke extremely condescendingly, and he was unwilling to help the girl out at all. I have never witnessed someone be so rude about a genuine mistake. It was incredibly jarring. I even found it harder to eat my food after. I understand if it really were impossible to change the order, but it was obvious that the restaurant hadn't even put the corn dogs in the fryer yet. I would never spend a dime of my money here, and I don't recommend anyone else does as well. read more

Hot dogs are good, but the service sucks. I clearly said one mozzarella and one Hal and half, they're worth it down as one original and one half and half. Then when I told them after biting in that it was wrong they said 'it was written as one original and one half and half'. So don't trust them to listen, and definitely don't trust them to care about making things right. read more

Mat-Jib has amazing corndogs! They are very good and the wait is not to long depending on what day you come. overall not much to say 9/10 recommend (Cheese Corndogs) read more

Not a big fan of these corn dogs but I was impressed! Loved the cheese pull that came with it too. I tried the mozzarella corn dog, which also came with a ketchup and mustard drizzle. You can also request the sauces on the side as well. But make sure you eat it with the sauces because it gives it a little more flavor! Mat Jib also has a variety of sushi rolls, fried and fresh. read more

I've been dying to find Korean corndogs again after trying them at H Mart in Doraville, GA so I had to make a quick trip to the Cary H Mart when going to Raleigh. The hotdogs are served hot & fresh which takes about 10 minutes. The sugar on the outside is really what makes them so amazing. read more

Mat Jib - Potato Corn Dogs - Hot Dogs Near Me - Cary, North Carolina

We just got the ban-ban (half cheese half hot dog) and it was pretty tasty! Got a good cheese pull, the outside was crispy and yummy, but the hot dog wasn't our favorite - tasted quite cheap/processed. The flavors weren't anything life changing, which I guess is understandable for a corn dog - it kind of tastes how you'd expect it to. However, it did take 20 min for us to get our one dog which was a little longer than we had hoped. read more

My daughter and I were in the mood for sushi for lunch so dropped by Mat Jib today. Although the cashier seems young, he is professional, polite and friendly. I appreciated that he repeated back my orders with special instructions that I requested and made sure he had the correct orders in place. The rolls took about 10 minutes to make (They are freshly made-to-order), but it wasn't a big deal as I got some time to do some quick shopping in H-mart. We order the Lovers (no fried) and the Rainbows. They come in large pieces and certainly more than the amount we normally get from a sit-down sushi restaurant. The rolls are yummy and additive :) read more

Stopped here randomly while passing thru Cary. It's one of a few good stands inside of the H Mart store. I opted for the ban ban hot dog and YUM! It was messy but worth it! :) read more

Mat Jib is a food place located in the food court at H Mart. It was a bit busy and it took 15 minutes for my food to be ready. I tried Korean corn dogs for the first time and this was a good impression. I got the half and half which had half cheese and half hot dog meat. The cheese was stringy and warm and delicious. The hot dog beef was nothing special. Just your regular hot dog beef. This place is great if you are craving something crunchy and delightful. I highly recommend! read more

I wanted to like these korean dogs, but they were not good. Maybe it was just not cooked through. The sushi also was not up to par. It had no flavor. Blah. Their service was good. read more

Really disappointed by this sushi place inside of HMart. Rice was flavorless, avocado wasn't ripe, spicy tuna roll was mushy. everything served in disposable dishes even though other places in the food court use real dishes. Its only saving grace was that it was made fresh and space appeared clean. read more

This sushi and Korean hot dog place was soo good!! It's inside a grocery store and only doing Togo. The ban-ban hot dogs were amazing the breading taste almost like a funnel cake or donut. I also tried the cream cheese and crab sushi roll 10/10 read more

Omgggg, this place did not disappoint!! Not sure if it was because I was their first customer of the day, but the cheese in the Korean hotdogs was so warm and gooey. I absolutely loved the crispy, sweetness of the bread as well. My only complaint is that I wish I hadn't waited so long to try this place! read more

The Staff is so polite and pretty, They took the time to explain things I didn't understand, me not being familiar with the food. When they got the food out it was quick and fresh. I got the half and half, half cheese, half crab meat corndog, covered in ketchup and honey mustard. I really enjoyed it. 10/10 Would recommend and eat again. p.s. thank you ms. Sasanishi. read more

This little food counter is located inside of the H Mart and I stumbled upon it while shopping. Although you wouldn't think of grabbing lunch in a grocery store, Mat Jib is good enough to lure you in even without needing to shop your list. We did the pick 5 with a double up on the Mozzarella so that we could both try each flavor. Our favorites were the Mozzarella and the Ban Ban (half sausage-half mozzarella). These Korean hotdogs are the doughier but crunchier, sweeter, bigger cousin to the corn dog. I didn't know what to expect from them and now I can't get enough. I will definitely be making the hour drive back to Cary just to stop in again. read more

I stop by H Mart all the time but have never had the time to try any of the food stalls. As I was perusing the aisles for fruit, I saw this new stall with an alluring display of Korean hot dogs! I had tried it first in Dallas and it was fantastic, but could never find a spot to try in the Triangle. When I walked up to the stall, it looked very bright and clean. They offer sushi and hot dogs and I love the display they have of the hot dogs. Can't get anymore thorough than a 3D dissection of each hot dog lol. I opted to try one hot dog and one sushi roll and went with the ban-ban and spicy shrimp. The hot dog was an absolute 10/10! It was so crispy and crunch on the outside with perfectly melted mozzarella that gave the ultimate cheese pull that had to be at least a foot long when I bit into it haha. It came with ketchup, mustard and sugar coated on the outside and this absolutely incredible sauce that I can only describe as hibachi white sauce but on CRACK TIMES TWENTY. It was so good, I dunked my sushi into it too! The sushi was equally delicious. A little bit on the spicy side for me, but I really enjoyed it! All in all, I can't wait to stop by this stall in the future and grab another hot dog! read more

Awful sushi. It was 97% rice...unseasoned at that. The sauce was mayonnaise based most likely added with some other store bought stuff.

Great attempt at a Korean hotdog. They normally come with honey mustard not normal mustard but it was still great. Almost as good as the ones in LA. Def stop by and try one! read more

Incredible! I've passed by this place too many times but finally tried it tonight and all I can say is, why didn't I try it earlier!! First timer and tried the full gamut of hotdogs as well as 6 different rolls. Everything was outstanding! The hotdogs are unusually delicious with a sweet and savory twist. The sushi rolls were also well made, fresh, generous and delicious! Only issue here is the wait - be prepared to wait 30 minutes if they are busy. read more

Korean corn dogs were spot on! I wish they served the potatoe with mozzarella, im not a sausage type of person but i would definitely go again! There was so much cheese in the corn dogs! Loved it! The area was a bit overwhelming crowded, definitely could do better organizing the line & waiting section everyone was just everywhere. read more

To begin, I didn't think this place was in a grocery store but at the end we think that's what saved this experience because Mat Jib wasn't really the highlight. When we ordered our food we were told they don't do substitutions on rolls( which I'm allergic to avocado and wanted cucumber) and it would be extra to be on the side not even in the roll. The corn dogs(our main reason for going) were eh. Super greasy food but we did enjoy the all mozerella cheese one though. The Lover( fried) was super greasy as well but the Monster shrimp was okay since I couldn't add the cucumber it was just too much seafood and I can't have avocados so that sucked. Then when we were ready to leave and had left overs we were offered a paper bag for the corn dogs instead of a container which we also found kind of odd. Overall the place has better food like the bulgogi bowl near by so we won't be ordering food from Matjib again but we're happy we got the chance to try something different. read more

Good cheese dogs. Service is a tad bit slow but worth it. Great if you're going to shop after wards.

Want to say how much my family loves the food here. And they have the BEST Korean corn dogs. Had one from another business recently and it did not compare. The batter was flat and unflavored, cheese was subpar compared to Mat-Jib. We drive 45 minutes just for the food!! read more
