Owner/Manager was very friendly as well as the staff. Took my car in on a Saturday and it took about 30 minutes. I was very pleased with the amount of time it took. The coupon also included a vacuuming (I saw a man with the vacuums, but there was still dog hair all over my car. Don't expect an actual vacuum), window cleaning and topping of the air in my tires. Got the premium oil service that's priced at 31.99. Mechanic checked my car before doing any work to it and said it's going to be around $34. I didn't know if that was before or after the fees and tax. I had the locals coupon (19.99 for the premium oil service, so it's $12 off) I ended up paying a little over $27. Probably my last visit, I only came because I had a coupon. Too fast a service (I know right, it's actually a complain). Only because the premium oil service had a lot of things It said it would do...vacuum (only vacuumed the front mats), tires, fluid checks, etc. So I'm not sure how good of a quality the check ups were. read more

They will recommend certain maintenance items depending on your odometer, but there is no pressure to purchase. (If your air filter is dirty, the tech will show it to you before asking.) They provide other services, too. My wife got caught in a surprise winter rainstorm and realized her windshield wiper blades were worn out. She pulled into Masterlube and had the wiper blades changed and on her way in just a few minutes. Try THAT with your local auto dealer's shop. ATTENTION GEAR HEADS: The premium conventional oil provided here is manufactured by Chevron and is top quality, (Chevron contract manufactures and refines base stocks for all the majors on the west coast including Valvoline.) My pickup was purchased new in January 2000 and Masterlube has performed every oil change up to present 124,000 miles on the odometer. The truck runs as good as the day I bought it, and I have no intention of selling it anytime in the near future! Doesn't cheat you out, if you're a woman. Every time I've come here, I've had nothing but excellent service. Never rude, always friendly. If I need something else done, they let me know and ask if I want to go along with having it fixed/renewed. If I am unable to, they'll give me a good time when I should. I had to use my car to drive to Arizona so they made sure my timing belt was up to par, which I fixed asap. I recommend them for everyone! Horrible place to take your vehicle they lied about the work the did. Charged me for the service that they never provided. This caused me to have problems with my brakes. I had to take my SUV to get fixed. They take advantage of people. I am filling a complaint with BBB. Horrible thay would do this to people. read more

I've been going to this place for a while now and here and there, I've had small complaints such as them not resetting my oil life on the car. It was a pretty insignificant complaint so I did not make too big of a deal about it. Other than that, I thought they did a pretty good job. The coupon that I take every time says that they do everything from cleaning your windows to filling your tires. This time, I did not see them filling my tires. I approached one of the guys at the end before I was about to leave, and asked him whether the tire check was completed, and told him that I still saw a "Low Tire Pressure" light on my dashboard. He told me that they did all that, and casually said that all of the tires were pretty flat so they filled it up. He then said that it sometimes takes a while for the light to disappear from my dashboard. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and drove off. The light did not disappear. So I went to the gas station and sure enough, ONE of the tires was pretty low in pressure. NOT all. Not only did they fail to provide this service (which I would have completely understood as a simple mistake), but they lied to me about it, and even added another lie on top of that lie to convince me, saying that ALL of my tires were flat when in reality, only one of them was flat. Because of this I start to doubt whether their other services, including oil changing, can be trusted to be completed correctly. read more

This place is absolutely horrible for some reason the employee thought it would be good to change the settings on my dash. The mileage on the ticket they gave me is completely different than the mileage on my car. a partial oil change on top of that. My car has 80,000 miles and apparently the ticket says my car has 130000. I don't understand where their employees get off changing the settings on someone else's vehicle, stay away from this place at all costs! read more

I did oil change about 2 weeks ago and was happy and gave this place a 5 star how ever a few weeks later I decided to check my transmission fluid and notice the color was not good. It had a lite brown color. It was not leaking but I notice on the dipstick it was running hot, and there was no note on the oil change paper on recommendation. I called them now and asked them about it and just check if it full or not. You would think they would tell you and the time of my oil chance if they even looked at the transmission dipstick. He did not say much and said bring it in and will tell me the price and look at it now. I would not go back to them. I am glad I checked out the transmission on my own. I give this place a two star. The oil change was ok, but the inspector or the so called 20 point inspection is really not an inspection. I would not go back to this place and I already have appointment and another place to get my transmission replaced. I did the flush about 2 years ago so the other company told me to just replace fluid and gasket. The good news is I don't need to replace the filter since my car only has a filter inside the transmission. I think a business should do what they say or if they did it and notice some issue or recommendation they should let you know. read more

Terrible -- I went there by myself (I'm female) in August to get an oil change. They told me I needed a new air filter and showed it to me. We had just gotten back from a 3K mile road trip & had the car serviced at a new mechanic shortly before prior to leaving. I was surprised at this and thought maybe the new mechanic didn't do his job. I told them not to replace it so I could take it home to my hubby. Went home & back to the mechanic who took it out & showed it to us. It was only dirty on the edges & still very usable and did not need replacement. They tried to make a quick $20 off me (because I'm a female that doesn't know any better???). Second, potentially much more costly, we started to experience an oil leak shortly after the oil change. Went back to the mechanic & he found that they did not properly tighten the drain plug. Had it fallen off we would have lost all the oil and our engine. Never mind the $19.99 coupons, the $12 you'll save may cost you an engine!!! read more

Said my transmission fluid was getting dirty (it has only 5,000 miles on it) so I thought that was a bit of a push sell for $89. I just told them no. I regularly went here for oil change for the last several years because it is quick and the price is reasonable ($20) if you have a coupon. However, they had been telling me for the last two times that I need to have brake pads replaced for both axes, especially the front because it only had 10% left. I got concerned but I just didn't feel comfortable to have brake service done at a oil change place, so I took my car to my trusted mechanic. Surprisingly, my mechanic told me my front brake pads are absolutely fine and it still has 50% left. I don't think I am going back to this Master Lube. read more

In addition they tact on additional fees to the discounted price. Right now the oil change after coupon is 27.99. Add on rag and disposal fees that pepboys does not charge and you will be closer to 40 bucks. Pepboys oil change was 19.99 plus tax. Includes name brand filter and quaker state oil. Masterlube oil and filter brand is not shown. . Use to be a cheap place but they raised there prices 3 times this year. read more

Almost lost my transmission on my 2014 Ram. Turns out 4 bolts were loose with 1 bolt 3/4 coming out from the heater going to the transmission. It's hard to prove they loosen it so I won't, but they should have pointed out that I was leaking transmission oil. Bad that the 2014 Ram does not have a dipstick to check the levels. Nevertheless I won't be back. First and last time they got my $$$. read more

Always come here. Had a problem once caused by fuel pump. Car wouldn't start after oil change. They called a tow truck, called a repair shop, got me in right away. My father recommended Master Lube to me. The service was excellent, and the wait time was super short. I thought I paid only for an oil and oil filter change but I received a whole lot more. My vehicles fluid levels were checked and filled, battery and air filter were inspected, some other filter thing was inspected, my front windshield was cleaned inside and out, and the list goes on. The employees were professional and delivered results in a descriptive way. The best part of my experience was that the mechanic who serviced my vehicle was patient, polite and delivered his explanations in a way that I was able to follow and understand. about a week ago I received an e-mail stating that it was time to get my oil changed. I compared the mileage from my odometer to the mileage printed on the service sticker they had placed on my windshield and sure enough, it is that time again. I just printed another coupon from their website which gives customers a $10 discount. Coupon in hand, I am heading out, destination: Master Lube. I highly recommend this location. read more

I went there simly because it is close to home and I had a coupon. I went there after work on a weekday. Service is quick. I ended up paying about $60 for full-synthetic oil which is required for my car. I asked for tire rotation, he told me can only do it on Sat. when they are fully staffed. So I went two weeks later showed them my paper asked for tire rotation. Got it done, I got my key and left. Then the mechanic called me up told me I drove off without paying and I came in expecting free service. He also threatened me that he got my home address and phone number. Made me feel nerves. Why would I ran off for such small amount and also giving them my real address and phone number? 1st he said $16.99, then he said $15. Anyway, I explained to him that he did not tell me this service is not included when I first came to his shop for the oil change. I was told to come back on Sat. for it. Only if I would know it's not free, I would wait to go to another shop on Sat. The service guy told me it's included in the oil change service but only can do it before 3 daily. Also Master Lube's price chart on the wall does not list the tire rotation service, of course it does not have a price. I did check their service chart when I was in the shop. An honest business would explain to their customers how much a service or product would cost upfront. He left me no choice for the service I need. He was very rude over the phone; charged little too much for a small job and not honest for the service they provide. read more
