I would give 100 stars if I could. I had no appointment, I rolled up the guided me right in all I had to do was sit there for 10 minutes while five people gathered around the hood of my car like I was stopping on the side of the road during a race track. They offered me a cold bottle of water when I got there. It was a lot of fun as they were yelling back-and-forth the psi of my tires and the levels of my oil was very transparent to me to the entire time. After they put the oil in they came over to me with a dipstick and showed me how the oil was filled all the way up as if a waiter was presenting a bougie bottle of wine. $25 off coupon. They're a tad on the pricey side but given the convenience, professionalism, transparency and customer service I will go to them in the future. read more

'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Take 5 Oil Change. After reviewing my invoice, I noticed that I was charged twice for a cabin filter -- $49.99 each time, with the exact same part number (XC25851). However, the service checklist only states that the cabin filter was replaced once. I went in expecting straightforward service and trusted that I was being charged correctly. Customers shouldn't have to go home and carefully inspect their receipts to make sure they weren't billed twice for the same item. I would strongly recommend reviewing your invoice before leaving this location. I would also like an explanation as to why I was charged for two identical cabin filters when the service record shows only one replacement. read more

1/19/26 Monday, MLK day. Tyrell & Hector helped me out. Service was thorough and swift. They were extremely communicative with each other as well as me, which I appreciated. I also received a discount for having an EMT card. They made suggestions & gave honest feedback, when I probed further on upon their suggestions. They pulled out the filter to show me how good it looked and acknowledged me for staying on top of it. read more

I usually don't have any issues here -- I'm normally in and out with no problem. However, today was a different experience. I let one of the employees know I was there for an oil change, and he told me to wait. I assumed that meant about 10-15 minutes, but no estimated wait time was provided. I ended up waiting 45 minutes without anyone checking in or letting me know it would take longer than usual. A simple update would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, I feel like my time was wasted due to the lack of communication and customer service. read more

Efficient and friendly service! I was in and out in 20 minutes. They came out to greet me when I drove up and offered cold water while I waited for the car that was being serviced ahead of me. read more

Always exceptional and fast service! I love how friendly they are! And always given a cold water before starting my service.

Customer service great.. Service to my car..TBD I had the oil changed in my wife's car last weekend. When I drove it today, the check engine light came on. I popped the hood to check things out and discovered most of the screws for the air filter were not screwed down. I'm questioning that the oil was the correct typed due to the trouble codes... I've reset the codes, let's see if they come back read more

Military and Veterans get a discount! I just wanted to make sure that was front and center. Otherwise, this business takes their customer service very seriously. You pull in and they have their operation dialed in. There are multiple checks and balances that they go through and take pride and their jobs. It is a little bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for. I suggest you go online and get the coupons and sign up to get the emails because I get email I get coupons in the emails all the time. read more

Ok 5 star review because how was this the best oil changing experience I've ever had!? I'm still very in shock Normally my fiancé will do my oil change but when schedules are busy I just end up paying for it. Normally I'm weary of going to auto places alone because I have experienced being lied to just for being a female. But needed the oil change and we found out there was a Take 5 that can probably take me without an appointment. I pull up around 5pm and the place looks EMPTY. I panicked because Google said they were open till 8pm. I pulled up to one of the bays getting ready to park and walk up to the door and triple check the hours. Then a bunch of men came out the building and headed to their stations. One of them greeted me at the car and handed me a cold water bottle and helped me pull my car up and got me started. After he got my initial information and which oil service I'd like, he and all the other guys are communicating with each other THE WHOLE time and did not hesitate to ask me questions when needed. I was on the phone with a family member and even they said "WHERE ARE YOU!? THEY ARE SUPER NICE!!!" I never got out of my car btw The thing that caught me by the biggest surprise was a few years ago I noticed the pins that held the front bumper in place went missing the last time I got an oil change. Never got to replacing them (oops). The guys here asked me if I knew they were missing and I said yes but its ok they've been missing for a while. They looked me in the eyes and said "its okay we replaced them" I was not ready for that answer and I'm so grateful that I pulled up to this place! All the employee's were AMAZING, so sweet, honest, and never did I feel pressured to upgrade or replace anything that probably didn't need to be replaced. I was in and out, paid about $95, and left with the biggest smile. AFTER AN OIL CHANGE!!!! It was so fast and I was in shock from the great service I didn't have time to get the names of the men who helped me out. Thank you guys! I'll def be back! read more

I had a great experience with Hector during the maintenance of my new car. He was incredibly helpful, attentive, & genuinely kind throughout the entire process. You can tell he really cares about his work he handled everything with such care & precision.Hector took the time to explain what was being done & made sure I felt comfortable & informed every step of the way. His attention to detail really shows, & when I got my car back, it honestly felt just like new again. It's not often you come across someone so professional & friendly at the same time. Hector truly goes above & beyond. I really appreciate the amazing job he did. Highly recommend! Keep doing what you do best man!!!! read more

Been coming here for years before change of ownership and they're even better now. Hector and Andrew were class A in their service and care. Thanks Rock stars! read more

Great customer service and the oil change was fast. Probably saved me 45 mins as compared to JL or Valvoline. Technician and manager were both very communicative. I was in and out of there in about 10 mins. Will definitely go back. Even though it's 20 minutes from me (Long Beach). read more

While the customer service was friendly, I left somewhat disappointed with the overall experience. They didn't have Mobil 1 in stock for my oil change, and when I asked what specific brand they were using instead, the employee wasn't even sure. On top of that, they didn't reset the maintenance light in my vehicle or top off my tires with air both basic services I've consistently received at Valvoline. For the same price, I'd rather take my business to Valvoline, where the service is more thorough and the staff is better informed about the products they use. I hope this location improves its attention to detail and product knowledge. read more

I dont know how this dosent have five stars but they are so nice with their service and tone. love the complementary waters.

Had a really great experience with this group. I needed an oil change the day before Christmas, was able to just show up. I did call beforehand and spoke to the friendly manager Cristian who offered a coupon over the phone. They were nice, even offered water, I didn't have to get our, they topped my liquids. Price was reasonable, definitely more affordable and faster than going to the dealership! Thank you, guys! read more

Great service and very quick. Thanks to Andrew and Tyler for helping us today. They were great!! Will be back for sure!

Horrible service that did a lot of damage to my vehicle. Do not let Tyrell near your car. He poured oil all over the top and sides of my engine making the belts squeak and a burning smell that has lasted several days already. It was so much oil that it pooled onto the skid plate and was pouring out of it staining my driveway. Not even sure if they even really changed the oil or not. I do not trust anything they say and now I'm left with damages from something as simple as an oil change. read more

Had an OUTSTANDING experience today at Take 5 on Ball rd in Cypress! My 3rd visit there and I can't recommend them high enough! Talk about TEAMWORK! Andrew Randy and Gio went above and beyond all expectations. Professional, super friendly and time wise really efficient!! Great prices and great service! Wish I could give them 10 STARS!! read more

I usually got to Valvoline, but was in a rush and Take 5 is down the street from home. Staff were friendly, but unlike Valvoline, it seems they do the bare minimum. Unlike Valvoline, they did not check my tires and put air or check all my signals and headlights to ensure they work properly. All they did was the oil change. I'll continue to go to Valvoline, but nice to know that Take 5 is right here as a second option. read more

Really nice local spot. You pull in, they offer water for you, just honest dudes doing a good job. Good prices. You can tell they're just trying to make a connection with customers and do a good job. So much better than waiting for the dealership to change your oil that takes all day. read more

I am beyond thrilled to have found GianCarlos and Yen! These two are exceptional individuals, and I'm honestly surprised this place isn't packed. They deserve more than just 5 stars. I've never been to an oil change shop where they genuinely care about your car. Not only did they do an oil change, but they also checked the tire pressure, coolant, air filter, and more. GianCarlos, in particular, provided outstanding customer service. I wish this place nothing but success, and the prices are fantastic too!!! 1000% recommend and IM A GIRL!! lets goo read more

Came here to use my 50% off coupon for a basic oil change. You drive up to the shop directly into the garage and they have a list of oil change selections. There is someone to greet you and walk you though the options based on your VIN number. The tiers include either fully synthetic or partially synthetic. They also offer you a change of filters and will compare a new one to your current one, which is nice. As you wait they give you a bottle of water and are generally friendly to talk to. They also say everything out loud as they have a team of 3-4 people working together. With the 50% off it was a pretty good deal but I know regular price is on par with other places. Overall it was a great experience! read more

I came here because they had a Grand Opening coupon special and synthetic oil changes are expensive!!! New local oil change place with no waiting! It was nice that the service guys introduced themselves. I stayed in my car so I don't know if they checked anything else (fluids, tire pressure) Minus 1 star because they were out of Mobil 1 oil so I got the unfamiliar house brand. I think he said it was DuraMax. read more
