Called this place at 1am looking for someone to change my locks on the house ASAP for safety issues, and this place was the only one that answered out of 5 other places I called that claimed to be open 24/7. Jonathan was really helpful, and willing to negotiate the fees with me. He arrived 25 mins after I called, and finished up in about 30mins. A couple of our other locks were messed up and he ended up using the parts other locks he originally changed to fix our broken locks, free of charge. My family and I can now sleep with a sound mind because our locks were changed. Will definitely call this place again in the future. read more

Locked myself out of my apartment on a Sunday night. I called around for a locksmith and was quoted some very unreasonable prices given my untimely situation. Luckily I came across Master Locksmith - Jonathan quoted me a very fair price and came to help out in less than half an hour! He was friendly and most importantly skilled, first assessing my lock carefully before any tools were brought out. He got my door open in probably less than a minute without any damage or disturbance to my neighbours. Effective AND efficient without breaking the bank, will use again. read more

This review is for the locksmith in LA area with the details below: Website: https://www.masterlocksmithla.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MasterLocksmithLA/about Email: Masterlocksmithla@gmail.com Old phone number: 323-609-3696 (see receipt at https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/master-locksmith-la-los-angeles-2?select=11iB7SYidPMozQ9Fi7S5FQ&reviewid=jEPpysT8RlLAsfp8kE7qEQ) Old address: 1545 S LA CIENEGA B, 2 LOS ANGELES, CA 90035 They keep on changing phone number, company name, address and get Yelp to delete review based on excuse that review is not for their location. Call for their service early 2017, they arrived an hour later. Told me $180 when they came, ended up charging me $270. Very unethical, taking advantage of the situation, and scamming consumers with low price quoted over the phone and charge them much more once the job is done. Stay away at all costs. To Yelp and owner of business: Before you removed this review, check out the receipt I received here, and compare with the one in another review in the link above. Same receipt format, same hand writing, same person and company. So don't try to tell me this is not for this company / location. read more

It's a scam company that they guy that came out to fix the lock at my job told me he could fix two doors for a set price but what he didn't tell me was he only was going to fix one side of the two doors then he laughs and tell me to slide him some more money and he would fix the other side. I hate a cheat. read more

There are sooooo many locksmiths around LA but I gotta say that I may have found the best there is. Fast, efficient and very reasonable. They don't take advantage of the fact you're in a tight spot and they're your saving grace. Definitely will not overcharge like most locksmiths. These guys are awesome! Called them since I needed a lock changed same day and they sent someone right away. It was amazing how fast the locksmith got to our place. What's even more amazing is how fast they got the job done. Most importantly they don't overcharge. I know good service when I get them and I certainly got the best service from these guys. Nothing beats first hand experience so next time you get locked out of anything, call these guys and get ready to be impressed. Thanks for the awesome service read more

BE WARNED!!!! I will gladly warn the public about these guys. I called to get a quote to pick a lock and the guy said $35 and up. That compares to what my friend paid for a lock pick service with another company in the area so I said ok. What he didn't not say was that the $35 was just for the emergency visit on a Sunday evening. On top of that there is a $15 service fee for regular visit. Picking was $149 extra for each lock. My friend used another service and said her total only $30 for a visit and lock pick. I will attach a photo of their bill which came out to be $348 since I had a security door as well as a side door to open. I just paid since it's Sunday night an I was returning form a long vacation. Also they can't pick a medium security lock they will drill. They said the guy would arrive within 25 min they did not arrive for 45 min. Their receipts don't match the company so I don't know what that's about. read more
