I've been here twice. Once for lunch and today for brunch. The time we came forlunch was very generically good. Fried chicken, goat cheese app, moonshine mojito? It was all good but not review motivating. Today for brunch though was AMAZING. We sat at the outdoor bar looking in drinking blood orange mimosas while a table outside freed up. They texted me when my table was ready. Super useful if there had been a long wait and you wanted to go shopping or something. Cashed out our $2 Mimosas & moved over. Our server Chanel was so chill from the get go. She wasn't at all concerned that I told her I was going to drink through the menu before I ordered food. We had blood orange, peach, orange and blackberry mimosas. Also had a Moonshine Sangria. Not bad but not for me. We had the Crazy good guacamole. Then some more mimosas. Then the chicken sandwich. Which I added bacon too. No regrets. The fries and house ketchup were possibly the best part but the chicken was so moist and had a good fried batter. Honestly it was all good. But what made this a great visit was that at no point in my 3 hours of drinking there did I feel rushed to order or move on. We just chilled & drank and got a brunch tan. I was never without a drink for more than a second or two. Chanel's service was what took a good brunch to a great experience. And at $2 a piece I was surprised that after splitting an app, customizing a sandwich and many drinks my bill was only like $35 bucks. The manager came by and I told him how happy we were, he was so sweet. I guess a customer had flipped out at him about the wait and he needed some encouragement. We got ya, Jorge. We'll be back to drink through another Sunday soon. read more

This place is delicious! All of their dishes never disappoint! I highly recommend their brunch or dinner!

WHAT TO ORDER: Bulgogi Taco, any of their drinks, Moonshine Flight, Mimosas What I Ordered: Bulgogi Taco, Flatiron Pepper Smash Reviewing: Brunch, Lunch, Happy Hour HAPPY HOUR DEALS: 3-6PM Daily, Reverse HH: 9PM-Close. $5 five degree dome shots, $3 off all specialty drinks, $3 twenty oz domestic draughts, $4 twenty oz premium draughts, $2 off all glasses of wine. First of all, this restaurant is a pretty solid option for any meal and drinks considering that it's a chain! It's located at The Rim nearby a good selection of other restaurants. It has a cool interior and a happy hour menu every day! You can easily share a great meal with family and friends and hop over to watch a movie at the Palladium! The food here is on the pricier side as any restaurant at The Rim's range is. LUNCH/DINNER FOOD: The BULGOGI TACO ($13.95) contains sliced bulgogi marinated in garlic and soy sauce with bibb lettuce, carrots, cilantro, and lemon rice. A very solid option that comes with 3 tacos if you are craving a mix of korean-mexican food. They do a great job with the fusion flavors! BRUNCH FOOD: The FLATIRON PEPPER SMASH is good for anyone who is an omelette lover. Since I'm not a huge fan of omelettes myself, I wasn't a particular fan of this dish and wished I picked a different brunch option. My dish is a 3 egg omelet with grilled steak, pepper smash, melted fontina cheese, and grilled corn. It's served with tomato and pepper smash breakfast potatoes and ranchero salsa. The omelette was not a good balance between egg and ingredients and the steak was on the chewier side unfortunately. The potatoes were probably the best part and I would ask for extra salsa on the side to smother the potatoes in since otherwise they're kind of bland. MIMOSAS are $2 in a long-stemmed glass and you can choose from the following flavors: orange, blood orange, peach, blackberry. The peach is delicious! DRINKS: They have such an extensive drink menu - you can find anything you like! If you like trying new thinks, I recommend splitting the Moonshine Flight ($14) where you can try different flavors. WISH: I wish their happy hour menu contained some food menu options! NEXT TIME: Will be back for happy hour and to try more of their brunch options - southern egg fries, mash'd tator eggsplosion, Benny's Pot or Skillet (their eggs benedict) read more

Service was great and our food was amazing. Our server was Andres he was very attentive to us. Andres recommended the queso, and The Chicken and both were so good!! read more

Perfect spot for brunch. Mimosa pricing is reasonable and getting the carafe is worth it when with a group of people. The food is always excellent as well, I've had The Unholy One and the Avocado Toast/Pizza and we're both amazing. Can be hard to get a seat sometimes without waiting forever but the area is popular and Mash'D is great so not surprising. read more

This used to my go to spot for brunch and dinner! However, this last visit was highly disappointing. 4 out of the 6 glasses had to be sent back due to floating black pieces in all of them. Also 3 people's silverware still had food in it. Now I can understand 1 or 2 little things To occur during a normal brunch but this was a little ridiculous. Service was slow and we were one of the first groups to get there. I really hope they make some changes because this place used to be on point. Changed from 1 Star to 4 Star read more

Went back to Mash'd for brunch/lunch. The service was great, the food was MUCH MUCH better, and the manager was so kind and checked on us after the meal. We didn't sit inside but the manager told us they've gone to great lengths to address the fruit fly issue and it's something they've taken very seriously. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back soon! We really appreciated the attention to detail and the fact that they wanted to make things right! Great restaurant, great service, great atmosphere, and amazing food! read more

$2 Mimosas that's a win! Also love the outdoor/indoor vibe. I had a delicious French toast sandwich which was a bit under cooked but perhaps that's the way they make it. read more

Amazing atmosphere with live music. Drinks are bit pricy but they are worth it. Really recommend their burgers.

I'm so glad this place is still able to operate during COVID. Great cocktails and friendly staff. Brunch options are also good.

This is the best place for mimosas! Their 30 oz mimosas are by far my favorite because they're the best bang for your buck! I stopped in here for my 21st birthday brunch with some friends. We had a great time and wonderful service. I didn't catch our servers name because I'm terrible with names but our service was so great we decided to call and ask who our server was. London really made my 21st birthday brunch special. London noticed that it was my birthday after checking my ID and she brought out a birthday shot, and after that a mini cake!!! How awesome!! They were both absolutely delicious!! I wasn't expecting getting anything special here for my birthday, but London had something else in mind!! I'm really happy we decided to come here. I will definitely be back!! The vibe is awesome here! Thank you London! read more

I stumbled onto this wonderful place and I can't seem to stop raving about it. I was looking for a great place that offered cheap drinks and found it . They have a 3-6 everyday and 9 to close every night. They special in their moonshine and have great mixed drinks. When you go grab the menu because there are many delicious dishes and appetizers you can choose from. Get the chicken fried pizza rolls it is the best of both worlds. If you can get a flight of moonshine it is an experience. read more

For some reason, I always passed this place up - and I'm glad I finally got a chance to stop by and check it out! The place is known for all the moonshine they have, but everything at this restaurant is made from scratch and you can tell the cooks in the kitchen take pride in their work. The drink specials were all great, but the food was really what will keep me coming back. From the burgers to the salad, everything was extremely fresh, and well balanced. The burgers are cooked to the proper temperature you request, and the ketchup is made in house and is really very good! Great place to stop and eat while shopping at the Rim. Recommended for sure. read more

Yay for having gluten free menu and options! More kudos for unexpected flavor combinations. They have revamped their food allergen training and it absolutely shows. Not only was our meal fabulous (highly recommend the shrimp and crab volcano appetizer), but it was so ample that we had leftovers. Last time I also enjoyed one of their interesting and tasty beverages. Love the menu. Love the staff. Love the ambiance. Thank you, Mash'd!!! See you again soon! read more

Mash'D is good for any meal / drink, but my favorite is hands down the brunch. If you have a sweet tooth and want to knock back some carbs, try drizzling some of the pot of creme on your French toast. Yum. {Mash'D, y'all should make that a thing.} read more

Loved this spot. Great atmosphere, solid service and awesome food. It was so good that we went here twice while on a five-day trip to San Antonio. The highlights - great drink selection, lots of awesome moonshine-based choices but plenty of other options as well. The Detroit-style pizza was phenomenal. Outstanding cheese, the dough was out of this world, crunchy crust and chunks instead of slices of pepperoni for added texture. LOVED this pizza. Really enjoyed the ribs as well as the mashed potatoes as well but the pizza is really memorable. Craving it right now and just had it last night.... Really enjoyed this spot and highly recommend it! read more

Amazing brunch. I have never had a bad meal here. Reserve online beforehand bc the waits can be crazy

Great happy hour! Good service. The food was fresh and flavorful. I found the ambience good after happy hour, but the music was crazy loud during happy hour and couldn't hear my dinner partner without shouting. The vodka ranch water and shrimp and "grits" ere my favorite. read more

Must try the eggs Benedict! Amazing. We went with a party of 6 adults who's all ordered something different off the brunch menu so we could all try each other's. BEST IDEA there was nothing we didn't like. Must try the moonshine! read more

Very limited menu but food was good; with location & ambiance makes it a great hang out place; but service could be better!

Great food great ambience. Portions are big so come hungry. We went as a group for brunch everything was so tasty!

We always have a great time whenever we come to Mash-D! This is definitely the best place for drinks in the whole area, and it's always worth any wait there might be. The bartenders are always friendly and attentive, but won't hover or try to over-do their service. They also all seem to be super knowledgable about what they're selling and can give a great recommendation based on what you like. The Knock-Out Punch is AMAZING, but they're only allowed to sell you two of them because they are that strong! (Worth it.) I love that it comes in a red Solo cup! Happy Hour (or Holy Hour, as my boyfriend refers to it when talking about Mash-D) is amazing, but I do suggest getting there a bit early if you want a seat at the bar. They can get a bit crowded! So far the only food we've had here is the Crushed Devil appetizer and the Fried Chicken. Love the Crushed Devil, especially with the pickled onions and peppers. The bread is incredibly hard for me to bite through though, so I usually have to eat the topping separate from the bread. The Fried Chicken is sent from Heaven, I'm convinced. That is the best chicken I have ever eaten, and that's no lie. I thought my boyfriend and I could split the order because it came with two pieces, but we definitely fought over it! read more

Love this spot. It's either here or Whiskey Cake when visiting Six Flags near San Antonio. Everything here is great. The cocktails are phenomenal. The cherry margarita and pineapple bomb are literally "the bomb". The service is spot on and the food is great. They even have gluten free buns for their sandwiches. I am always hesitant about pizza at spots like this. But, my very picky husband and family members said it was tasty. The ribs I had tonight were perfection. You can choose your own sides. The garlic broccoli was incredible. I think the fries are better than the mashd tots. Which are tasty cheesy mashed potatoes. But, I am just not a huge mashed potato fan. The guac and chips are my jam. Consistently good. Still need to try their brunch. Recommend reservations. They are always busy. The back bar area has some great big screens for games. There is also some outdoor seating with heater lamps for cooler nights. read more

The brunch was good and bad if that makes sense. It was tasty but then left me and my friends sick right after. I think it was the fact that they drowned it in cheese. went here earlier this evening and the food was amazing, i got the rebel and it was the best burger ive had. i was unsure about the egg in it at first but it turned out being the best thing ive had. the service was great, it felt as the whole restaurant took care of our table by how welcoming and friendly they were. good food, great music, and even better service. 10/10 will be back again. read more

Great brunch at a super reasonable price and the service is always great. They have outdoor seating if you want to bring your pup

This was our first time eating here. We were seated quickly and loved the vibe of the place. Our waiter was cool but we couldn't even finish speaking by the time he would turn and walk away so that was frustrating because we would have to wait for him to come back to see what we had even "ordered." The buffalo fries came and had amazing flavor but were disappointing nonetheless. There was way too much buffalo sauce and about 5 small pieces of chicken. We would have liked more ranch if we could ever see our waiter. We couldn't finish anything but the top layer and when we showed him how much buffalo sauce was left at the bottom he just grabbed the plate and walked away. I didn't expect a replacement or anything but a little more customer service would have been nice... if you order these maybe ask for the sauce on the side and they'll be great. I ordered the pizza and it was amazing. I love that the sauce was on top and the crust was crispy and tasted like the cheese was baked on the outside too. So good! Hubs absolutely drooled over his Kobe burger. It came with tons of fries and they weren't cheap on the jalapeños he added. He said it was a great burger and can't wait to eat it again. I got a rowdy Rhonda drink and it was nice and strong! Both beers hubs got were good and a great size for the happy hour price. Overall good experience just hope we get better service next time. read more

Tonight was my first time there! But it was a great atmosphere. Highly recommend for a first date. The music isn't to loud, atmosphere isn't boring, and the drinks are super delish. Bartenders were very friendly and know how to make their drinks, which is always a plus. 1st:we ordered and old fashion and there wasn't any bitters to make one. 2nd: took about 30/35 minutes to get our food. They were provably short staffed because it's a holiday week... And 3rd: I ordered a Shepard's pie, and let me tell you that's like one of my all time favorites. This one was good but the ground beef used was extremely salty and the crust was flaky, but bland.. So in assuming that the ground beef was were the flavor was added but over powered by the salt. Overall I still recommend it, but if you're not w salt fan then don't get the Shepard's pie. read more

Food was decent. Service was ok. I went with the family this morning for my younger brothers birthday breakfast. I took my son who is almost 2 years old. When I take my son to restaurants I usually have his tablet out so he would remain calm. As I did so today, my son was watching a children's cartoon - Word Party. As my son was calm, eating his food and watching his tablet an older gentleman who is a server (I didn't catch his name but he was wearing a blueish pladded shirt) came up to our table and while chuckling, he asked us: "Did you know he's watching porn?" And walked away. While I'm not sure if something is wrong with him or if he has a sick since of humor, I find this to be a ridiculous trait to carry out when being in an environment like MASH'D. I'm disgusted. read more
