I love this little place! It's at the end of La Cantera where Whiskey Cake and Cheesecake Factory are at. It's just a little hut bar where you can grab a drink and go shop. There are tables and chairs under trees to sit. They do make non alcoholic drinks like the watermelon lemonade in my photo. The staff is friendly and speedy and they do offer samples of a drink if you can decide on what to order. The drinks are reasonably priced.

This is the cutest spot, and the drinks were amazing! We got them quick and service was good! Check them out!

If you're looking for some adult beverages that won't cost you an arm and a leg...you've found the right location. I love me a good deal on drinks and this place has it. Thing is...you get what you pay for. The drinks here are not all that strong. I never really taste the liquor. Not real sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but I do like to know that there's liquor in my drink. Ya know? Anyway, the vibe here is pretty chill. Good amount of outdoor seating and the music is always on point. One thing I hate though, is that I always end up wiping down whatever table I'm wanting to sit at. They don't do a very good job at turning over tables once guests leave. Even still, I will always come back. The vibes are worth it.

This walk up bar is a great stop for a refreshing margarita or mocktail while shopping. We ordered two of the original flights- which includes a cucumber, strawberry and mangonada marg. All of the drinks were refreshing and good pricing. The only negative is that when the bartender included straws in our drinks, he unraffled them and put his fingers on the top of the straw where we would drink from which is pretty unsanitary (he had not washed his hands). We did toss those straws and grabbed unopened ones. There is ample shaded seating and a good selection of music playing from the speaker.

I was catfished lol I was aimlessly scrolling through Instagram when an ad for this place popped up. The ad made it look like they had some delicious margaritas and other beverages so I got out of bed and decided to head out to La Cantera to give this place a try. GPS had me parking all crazy, but I ended up finding this place after walking for about 20 minutes throughout the promenade. The cantina itself is super cute and very convenient as it has plenty of seating options around it. I ordered the OG margarita flight on the rocks and they literally just tasted like Agua Fresca's. The strawberry one was straight putrid and the other two were refreshing but again it 100% tasted like an aqua Fresca and didn't have any resemblance of a margarita whatsoever. I would rather spend money on a Wetzel's pretzels, than come back to this place.

Hey everyone Tint Cantina is a very cute little bar located in the La Cantera shopping area. It is an outdoor venue that offers margaritas and other refreshing drinks. They are priced about the same for drinks as other bars in the area. They have local bands and music play in the evenings a few times a month. The cucumber margarita is refreshing. I do have to say the margaritas won't necessarily blow your socks off but it's worth your money to go and try. The staff is friendly and it's very relaxing to sit out by the fountain next to the Cantina sipping on a glass of something refreshing.

Stopped by today before shopping. Kimberly made the best margs and was the sweetest! Always loving making a stop here when we get to La Cantera.

This spot is right next to Bar Louie. Be aware that the Apple/Google map might pin it near Macy's, but that's incorrect. It's a nice place to relax, take a break while shopping, or enjoy the weather on the patio. I enjoy the seasonal drink options and the staffs knowledge and suggestions on their items. The only downside is that guests are expected to clean up after themselves and return the flight trays, but many don't. As a result, trash gets left behind, and tables aren't cleared for others. The two bartenders are just bartenders, not servers, so please clean up so the next guests can enjoy the area too!

Didn't get to try anything as I arrived ten minutes before closing. But did get a photo of the menu. It was one lady behind the bar and she was serving really efficiently. Just didn't want to burden her with late comers. May return for a true try when shopping around. It's very small but has a wide bar so you won't be stuck in a line.

Love stopping by here when we go shopping on the weekend! We always get one margarita flight each. It comes with a strawberry margarita, a mango one and a cucumber one. It's a nice spot to sit outside under the trees and just hang out. The bartenders are always really nice and make our drinks fast. They have a lot of different options of drinks to choose from. Love it here!

Omg these margs are to die for. So good and dressed perfectly. It's such a cute little place in the perfect spot at the mall. I got the margarita flight with cucumber, mango, and strawberry. The bartender was the sweetest girl ever and made our drinks super quick. Definitely a good try if you drink and are at la Cantera!

I don't understand how this place made it to a list of top margarita bars in San Antonio. This 'bar' is located in the middle of an outdoor mall. The service was good, as the staff was very friendly and nice to chat with. The downside is, this is not a real bar so they can't serve any alcohol other than wine. So all of the margaritas are wine based. The drinks were very sweet as others have said and I don't feel that I got good value for the cost.

First for the atmosphere, it's a really nice environment during the day and most weeknights but weekends it's very loud and lively. Which is fine, but it is advertised as a speakeasy, but I would say its more of a loud bar vibe on weekend evenings. For service, it's generally pretty fast! You can order either at the bar or they can come to you. We usually prefer grabbing a seat if we can and order through a server. Definitely reccomend that but you might have to come a bit earlier if it's a weekend evenings. Servers are usually nice and helpful. In terms of the drinks they are great but I'll say you have to be very specific of what you like. I'm pretty straight forward so usually get a Moscow mule, mojito, or their kiwi express! All are awesome! However, I did ask if they could do a porn star martini. Passion fruit, liqueur, not too hard I thought... but they couldn't make it. I asked if they could just make me something w passion fruit instead and was told I could not. Very odd and usually they will make me a drink if I ask for it. Overall I think this is a fun place to go for a weeknight drink w friends or a bigger crowd for a livelier atmosphere for the weekend. I wouldn't deviate from the menu- they have plenty of options. You'll see us again! Thanks rock and rye!

From the moment you approach the restaurant- Not even walk in- you are greeted by a professional and hospitable staff. In the front 2 young workers gave us sangria samples and helped take my photo. So smiley and kind. Then I checked into my table at the host stand. Our table was in a gorgeous lit room by the stairs. The inside was so breathtakingly beautiful and clean . The restrooms as well. Our server Omar quickly filled our drink cups with cold water and took our actual drink order. They have premium lemomades and also fountain drinks with free refills. When he returned he gave us great recommendations from their 8 dollar tapas menu on happy hour (M-F 3-6). We ordered 3: Tacos de Cochinita Pibil / Slow cooked pork marinated in achiote sauce . Calamares Fritos / Fried steak calamari w/ alioli sauce ... Albondigas / Five Spanish pork meatballs marinated in wine tomato sauce with bread .... The bread with the meatballs should be toasted and it was cold. The calamari were AMAZING. Not chewy at all. And tacos unique and flavorful. It took a while to decide but with Omar's guidance and a lot of research beforehand, I reccomend large parties order these to get the best tasting experience: Parrillada Española / Spanish grilled feast with morcilla, 4oz Spanish sirloin, chistorra, three fried jumbo shrimp, and poached potatoes with alioli Toro Paella / Toro's Classic recipe voted best in San Antonio! Jumbo shrimp, mussels, chicken, calamari, pork belly & spanish chorizo . The grilled platter came out first very fast and the meats were delectable. Love the sausage. Again... toast the bread but everything else was delicious. The paella didn't take long at all. It lived up to our expectations. Delicious and hot, enough to fill us up with whatever room was left. The nicest part was Omar brought us complimentary shots of some sort of strawberry cocktail with a chili rim. He was so thoughtful and brought my sister who was 12 a non alcoholic version. We cheered to a good time. It was so good!!! Then we asked for dessert recommendations. Omar suggested the Torrijas / Classic spanish dessert, bread soaked in sweet cream, fried & drizzled in honey .. so that's what we got. It was SO yummy like tres leches French toast. With their website you get a 30 dollar off first visit coupon using the inkind app. I signed up and it worked perfectly. After the discount all that food came out to $150. Insane for a party of 5. I tipped 30 and using that inkind app got 30 dollars cash back to use anywhere on the app. But ill use it here. Come to TORO for a great time. Linger. Talk. Enjoy unique flavors. Felt like going to Spain.

So just a heads up if you're visiting this location. Service definitely needed improvement as the waitress completely inattentive and only saw her twice during my time there. I saw a couple of other patrons just as irritated waiting and looking around for her too. When ordering I asked if the stock they used contained shrimp in it due to an allergy at the table. She continued to recommend every dish that contained shrimp rather than answer about the stock- even after being told about the allergy. Finally got my answer after pointing directly to the menu mentioning the seafood stock. Food was okay. Waited a bit longer but reasonably so due to the allergy and food prep. When the server came she asked if we needed more water- which we did. We waited the entire service for that refill, again nowhere to be seen. We were done with our food for about 30 minutes till she finally checked up on us, with the bill. The restaurant added an automatic gratuity of 20% mind you the restaurant policy was only for parties of 6 or more. Like it made me question the service at this location if they're getting tips but not delivering in service. Definitely wouldn't recommend this location.

We walked in without a reservation, and I really appreciate that they were able to accommodate us with outdoor seating. The patio had a fun, upbeat atmosphere and was a great place to spend the evening. The drinks were generally very well made, once they were prepared correctly. The food, however, was just okay. I had the cheeseburger with an egg, and while it was decent, it wasn't particularly memorable. The standout was definitely the fries, especially paired with the spicy ketchup. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the service. Since we were seated outside, it felt like our table was forgotten. We sat for at least 15 minutes without proper plates, napkins, or silverware and had to ask multiple times before everyone was taken care of. We never had enough water glasses for the entire table, drink service was slow throughout the meal, and at one point I walked to the bar myself because my Old Fashioned had been made with agave and was far too sweet. I also had to track down our server just to get the check. Overall, I appreciate that they accommodated a large walk-in party, and the atmosphere and drinks were enjoyable. However, the combination of mediocre food and inattentive service left us disappointed. I don't think I'd return, as it felt like our table was simply forgotten once we were seated outside.
