Stopped by the beagle after work with some coworkers and we had a kicking time! They have daily drink specials and prices are reasonable. We ordered some nachos and a pretzel for the table to share. The nachos were huge! Toppings were ok. The highlight was the pretzel. It was fresh and so soft. The beer cheese was ok, not the best. Regardless, food was demolished. The beagle had a great ambiance and good tunes going. Servers were friendly and eager to make you feel welcomed. Would definitely recommend for a drinking spot. read more

While I thought I was walking into more of a restaurant than a dive bar, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and quantity of the food. When I was seated, the manger came out to introduce herself and then tended to us. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The menu is limited so we had the pretzels as an appetizer and then I ordered the chicken sandwich and my husband had the burger. Both were really good and the portions were quite large! This would be a nice spot to stop at for lunch or late night munchies. read more

I wanted to bring something to your attention regarding Stephanie Phastelle's behavior behind the bar. Every interaction I've had with her has come across as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. In an industry that revolves around hospitality and customer experience, attitude matters, especially when working for tips. Unfortunately, she makes it difficult to even want to tip because of how unpleasant the experience can be. On top of that, she seems to struggle with multitasking during busy shifts, which slows service down and affects the overall atmosphere. I understand everyone has stressful nights, but consistent poor attitude and lack of professionalism reflect badly on the business as a whole. I felt it was worth mentioning because customer service and teamwork are a huge part of what keeps people coming back. read more

It's always the best every time I go all the girls gave me superb service. You can never go wrong on the menu delicious hot wings on Sundays and Mondays are one dollar Tuesdays burgers Wednesdays we got the delicious juicy steaks so every time I go girls that work there not just behind a bar, but also the grill make me feel like I'm at home. Very cool spot. Used to be highlanders. Still the same vibe and decor. Food a little different. Looked good. Tried a person's appetizer and it was good. The service was good. Can get loud in there but I like the draft options and just the chill atmosphere. Will be back for sure. Go check them out. read more

We waited for 20 minutes at a table with no service. Went to the bar to ask for a menu, only to be ignored in favor of someone else who sat at the bar after I got up there. How can you advertise yourself as a pub restaurant if you don't even have wait staff to check on people who sit down at tables? Because if we wanted food we would have to stand and wait and order at the bar. Bartender was focused with the loud group of regulars and when I finally got the menus, the menus were nothing like what was advertised before. No fish and chips, none of the signature "English pub" foods. Absolutely awful. read more

Place is just okay for local dive bar. Drink prices are decent but service is slow. Been here a few times now and the music is always too loud even when only 5 people in the bar so forces people literally scream at each other to talk. Wednesday burger special is really good for $5. read more

My hospital coworker and I are always trying places that are open late. I called ahead and learned that the kitchen takes last call at 11:30 so we stopped by for a meal. I got the cheeseburger which came with fries and my friend wanted a monte cristo but they said they were out of one of the important ingredients. Not a big deal because she had already mentioned having to decide between that and another dish, which she got (Darwin dog also with fries) The barkeep was super friendly. I think he said his name is Wes. He even shook our hands upon greeting us and bidding us farewell. I love the aesthetic of the place. Wood everywhere just like I picture a pub to look. The food was good. Nothing spectacular, though. I was a little dismayed at how small the menu was. One kind of burger, one kind of hot dog, a couple of sandwiches and a couple of appetizers. I hope they expand the menu at some point. read more

The bagel, pub and eatery was in route while running errands. It is slightly easy to mess but easy to find with directions. When you walk in you can definitely tell it has a bar vibe so I went outside to the patio to bask in the spring sun with breeze, beautiful day. I tried the English men sandwich made with ham. The sandwich comes with kettle chips and a sugar, cane product soda beverage. The owner did make mention that they are currently in a soft opening so they are slowly adding in more drinks to the menu. my boyfriend ordered the turkey club and we ended up swapping half our sandwiches to be able to try both turkey sandwich and ham sandwich. He didn't like avocado who doesn't like avocado lol. The Scottish eggs were new to me basically a boiled egg with breading on the outside in some hollandaise sauce very creamy delicious great bar food selection The spring time is a perfect time to come and check out this eatery most definitely. I hope that they implement a no smoking rule for families and people who enjoy the outdoors . Nonetheless this place is great ! read more

This is a great neighborhood bar with a British pub atmosphere in the medical center with awesome service, friendly staff and AMAZING food. My husband and I recently tried Medjool stuffed dates from the appetizer menu and they were to die for! Would have taken a before photo, but I think the scraped plate speaks for itself. They really knocked everything out of the park. Give them a try and support a new local business! Although a nice facility, the ambiance is a train wreck. The music is at max volume the majority of the time as if in a dance club on a Saturday night at midnite. The service is stilted towards regulars from the neighborhood who are in the house to get drunk and vape dope. They serve mid pub grub from a limited menu and arent even set up to serve food. Plastic utensils, no salt, no pepper, only cocktail napkins, no table service. And at the end of the day a loud, drunk crowd at the bar. read more

Food was a let down. Their meat and cheese board with English cheeses was just a bunch of stuff from the grocery stores. Entrees had little to no seasoning. Very bland. Service was great, though. The bartender was our server, and she did a great job with recommendations and answered all our menu questions. Very nice servers, if not yet ready for eating customers. It's mostly a bar and I think we would have gotten faster service by sitting at the bar rather than a table elsewhere. I think it was the owner or manager who informed us they were just opening the kitchen and to pardon the wait time. They didn't yet have menus printed were out of hamburger buns but put my yummy burger on texas toast. The bartender was doing double duty and went thru available menu items with us. The beagle Burger is my go to. Crunchy, soft and juicy, Sauce on your face and juice running down fingers is what you want this is for you. People- you want to laugh and cry and meet people and form friendship, this is a great place to do so. Drinks- they drinks are amazing they run daily specials that are different everyday, but don't forget the food to sober up a bit before driving. Patio/Seats- great fresh air and you can enjoy the music and people watch if that what you choose Tvs- they have TVs in every corner so, never miss out on anything. They also have music that you as a customer can pick from, and control Entertainment-they have karaoke, bands and other activities including woman's night. read more

Was in town for work and stopped into The Beagle for a quick drink and dinner. I had the smother pork chops and was blown away by how good they were. Breaded pork chops topped with onions and mushrooms served with corn and mashed potatoes and all of it was covered in some of the best gravey I've ever tasted.
