I went to Camp 1604 for the first time on a Saturday evening and I had a blast! The ambiance is awesome with free entertainment. They had a over the ground pool were they had belly flop contest that was so much fun! They have drink specials like $5 frozen margaritas which is what I had. They are so good. They also had a food truck in the back. This day they where giving away a shrimp/potatoes/corn basket. It was delicious. I highly recommend this place. I would definitely be back! read more

These bartenders suck. More worried about talking within themselves instead of taking care of their patrons. I can see why it was extremely slow for a Friday night. So many better options. read more

Over Priced drinks but good vibes. Staff is always very kind. I feel like if this place was to get more business during the week they'd reduce the price of drinks lol read more

I went with friends to celebrate one of their birthdays and I had a good time. The vibe was chill, there are a few table games, good drinks. When we went there were 2 food trucks which were good but nothing super exciting and a tad pricey. I would go again for the environment and drinks but not to eat. The service was good before it got busy. read more

Came here for a few drinks early in the evening and the place was very cool. The bartender told me they had a DJ that came on at 10 but didn't stay for that place looks like it's set up as a campsite which is really cool. Bartenders and drinks are really good. I also have an outdoor archery and a connect four That's really big. I also have a huge outdoor heater area for when it gets cold. read more

Pretty nice little joint tucked near some of the big attractions--Topgolf, Andretti's, and that place where you throw axes and your dignity. But the real question is... would it check my boxes? Rolled up with a few coworkers--two couples and yours truly. They call that a "5th wheel" these days. Personally, I prefer "free agent." We got there early, which meant no lines, no shouting over music, and no college herd swarming the bar. The bartenders actually had time to chat and pour with some finesse. Caught a little buzz before most of the city even clocked out. Now let's talk setup--half inside, half outside, full-on adult playground. Cornhole, darts, Jenga, and believe it or not... two actual see-saws. I'm not saying I hopped on one, but I'm not saying I didn't either. The real kicker? A speed dating event was going on in the background. Yes--speed dating. In 2025. Like a live-action dating app, only with real eye contact and no swiping. Some couples looked like they'd found "the one." Others? Well, they ended up solo at the taco truck, licking their wounds (and probably some salsa). Tacos looked brilliant, by the way--wish I had stuck around for a bite. Overall: solid spot for a casual drink, great people watching, and a little chaos thrown in for flavor. I'd come back--next time maybe with a date... or at least a taco. read more

It's a really nice outdoor venue that doesn't get too crowded. They have a food truck in the back, and they have a good variety of backyard games (ping pong, corn hole, etc.). It's really a fun place, and totally a guy place. I love the atmosphere. They have about 18 beers on tap, but I wasn't impressed with the selection. They also have a full bar - liquor, etc. Something is going on with their draft beer, so I'm only giving them 2 stars. Every time they would pour a beer, it would have a lot of foam, and then it would disappear really quick. It was very strange; even the bartender commented on it. I had three different beers and each one of them were flat. I could see plenty of bubbles, but they tasted flat or watered down. I think they are having some sort of problem with their lines between the keg and the tap - maybe they are partially clogged or something. I mentioned it to the bartender, but they never looked into it. My advice is, if you get a flat or weak tasting beer, don't keep trying others. They are all going to be the same. During happy hour, you can get a 20-ounce mug of draft beer for the same price as a pint. Prices vary between $6 and $7.50, depending on the beer you select. A bottle of Shiner Bock is $5.50 - ouch! Also, there is a 3% charge for using a credit card!!! There goes my cash rewards... read more

Let's get the "bad" out of the way first. I walked into Camp and was all of sudden approached by some guy sitting at the bar who asked me for my id. I was immediately questioned who he was and he claimed to be the person that was supposed to be standing outside at the entrance. As sketchy as it felt, I just gave him my id. My friends gave him a pretty hard time, but eventually ended up showing their id as well. Not a huge deal, but he should have been standing at the door and not sitting at the bar, in my opinion. Other than that, I came on a Saturday around 6ish and there weren't very many people there at all. It was pretty empty, which is not what I'm use to. Nonetheless, it's a pretty chill spot. Grab a beer or a cocktail and sit back and converse with friends or watch some tv on one of the many screens they have outside. Plenty of seating and space, a food truck, and some games are provided as well. Stop by and check them out. Don't forget to bring your friends too! read more

We visited Camp 1604 on a Sunday and it has a very down to earth environment. The wait staff was awesome and pretty much guaranteed that we would be visiting this place again. Camp 1604 has a broad selection of beers and cocktails which can accommodate any drinkers. On Sunday they have $2.00 Mimosas, which you can not beat. As a whisky snob I was not a fan of the barrel aged old fashion, because it is very light and overall artificially sweet. There is plenty of out door activities for the competitive nature people (like my wife and I). This includes darts, cornhole, seesaws, giant jenga, connect 4, shuffle board, and even archery. Camp 1604 is a great chang up from you typical bar setting that offers a lot of affordable fun. read more

Ya girl had a rough day at work on a Tuesday. So what does the husband do? Buy me a beer We did a last minute search on the way home from work and found Camp 1604. We've never been before and was excited to try it out. Happy hour that day was $2 off draft beers. So our beers were about $5/each which was really good. Customer service was great. There was only 1 person there and he was very friendly. Beer menu was great as well. The outdoors area has a thousand TV's and tons of games to play! TONS of them. I'm glad we stumbled upon this little gem. Will definitely be back, bad day or not! read more

This place racially profiles! Beware! My son was turned away because the bouncer at the door said he was drunk. He did not drink. Most disturbing part, the bouncer at the front door was African American and denied entry to someone who is racially mixed and was sober. read more

This was my first time & I will say it's a very neat place. SUPER dog friendly which is great. They have AC inside but have doors open to the outside patio, both covered and not. But I think it would be boring without an event going on. They had 1 food truck vendor, that had 3 items to serve. I'm glad I ate beforehand. I plan on coming back to give this place another try. All in all, it's a chill place. read more

Camp is a fun bar. They have jenga, archery, see saws, etc. It is conveniently next to the Kung Fu bar which is also lots of fun. The drinks are good and the bartenders are awesome here. The $5 margarita was decent. I also got a "Sex on the fire" shot which was really good. read more

Super cute spot! I like that there are activities to do inside and outside. We grabbed a few drinks inside while waiting for our food. They have a great bar with many bottles to choose from. GOOD TIME, GREAT MUSIC! It gets pretty crowded but if you can find a seat and enjoy the music, it's awesome.

This place is laughable. Is it Camp 1604 or Campy 1604? I can only think of this plastic gimmick as a symptom of a larger problem with society. It's not a camp. It's the sanitized version of a Beer garden with suction-cup archery. The price-range, over ten dollars for drinks, is offensive, for what is essentially Peter Piper Pizza with Vodka. I won't be be back here or to the sister property KUNG FU next door. Neither have reason for being. I have to say the customer service is decent, when available, but good luck, even achieving eye-contact. Servers, when I visited, were preoccupied with who-knows-what. (The icing on the cake had to be what appeared to be BLOOD smeared all over one of the bar stools) read more

San Antonio's camping Inspired beer garden for 21+ offers beer, shots, cocktails, and wine. They have a large outside area with picnic tables, one ping pong table, two see-saws, lots of TVs, virtual ax throwing, cornhole, and some safe archery targets around. It's located right by top golf and Andretti. They are also dog friendly. We came here opening night and promptly got a beer at the bar, then walked out back to enjoy the dj type music vibe and games. The website says they have a food truck on site but we did not try any of the food this time. This seems like a really cool hangout spot/beer garden and look forward to coming back again. read more

Look, the bar is great... but... let's talk about your choice in the food truck. This has to be the worst food I've spent money for. I got a burger, loaded chips with added steak, and the wings. The wings tasted raunchy like they were twice frozen about to expire and were HELLA tiny. The burger tasted about the same flavor and quality of a cafeteria burger. The loaded chips about the same as the burger, cafeteria food from middle school is the flavor I got. Seriously this is bad, like stupidly bad. Like soo bad it's embarrassing you keep them on the premises. I'm keeping this review on your bar because it needs to be changed. It's ruining your establishment. read more

I was really excited to see what this place was about. I was a little disappointed. The beer and drink selection is not very big, or good. And I felt so bad for the poor server. Not meant for those wanting to drink a beer and relax. The music is over the top loud. Even outside I had to yell to have a conversation. Much smaller than advertised. I'd call more of a bar with outside seating options than a beer garden. Had one beer then left. Won't be back. read more

I enjoyed the outdoor setting and all of the games that were provided. I ended up joining a group playing archery. The environment was extremely laid back and enjoyable. The security guard was very friendly and struck up a few conversations with me, even ensuring I was okay when a group of young adults took over my archery spot and decided to pick a fight when I spoke up after they took all of our bows and arrows.
