Elsewhere is such a fun, unexpected gem in San Antonio--especially if you're visiting around the holidays. The vibe feels festive, cozy, and just a little bit magical, making it a perfect stop while exploring the River Walk. The views are beautiful, particularly in the evening when everything is lit up and buzzing with energy. The drinks were genuinely yummy--creative, well-balanced, and exactly what you want after a long day of sightseeing. Whether you're in the mood for something festive or a classic cocktail done really well, they deliver. It's an easy place to linger, relax, and soak in the atmosphere. This is one of those spots that feels like a destination on its own--great for visitors, date nights, or anyone wanting a memorable San Antonio experience. Would absolutely stop here again on a holiday trip or any River Walk stroll.

This place a cool vibe with all outdoor seating. Definitely a great place to have a drink. Lots of beers on tap from TX breweries. We had a great time playing trivia. The host was fantastic! Downside the food was not impressive. We got a burger and fries to share. The burger was ok but the fries seemed like frozen fries.

Been a while. Little disappointed as we asked for three different drinks and they didn't have them. Spot, hard to beat on the river. Ambiance and vibe, always a 5. Food from 3rd party, mmm mmm mmm !

I have nothing bad to say about this place--at all. I went one time for a mother-daughter day and all I have to say is I LOVE THE ATMOSPHERE! If you live for the vibes (because me too!) this is your place to be. There are so many photogenic spots, the bathroom is super clean, and even that is such a "vibe." The food is a bit up there, but you can't go wrong when you're buying something to eat to avoid getting "too crazy," while drinking. They do have a good selection to choose from for both food & beverages. I had the pretzel bread and that, THAT- was the-bomb-dot-com. I love that they have a selection to cater to all customers; delta 8/9 for those that want to drink for a high, alcohol for those that want a buzz, virgin drinks for those that want to take in the scenery, and they even include your furry friends in case your dog is thirsty (or hungry).

This was a great spot for a meet up with some classmates. The venue has plenty of outdoor seating near the Riverwalk and is an open area with tons of tables, chairs, and places to grab very mixed drinks beers on top and generous portions of food. I tried the chicken tenders and the serving almost looked like it was a mistake . I assure you it was not. They are just great about making sure you get your bang for your book when it comes to food. My classmates and I had a great time, literally just sitting and chopping it up versus being in a classroom . By the way, there's plenty of soft drinks and also healthier choices on food. All you have to do is scan the QR code at the table. All in all, it was a great time and definitely worth a stop by if you are with a group of friends or just looking to take a moment from walking

This is such a relaxing place to visit, I will definitely be back here again...and especially now that the temperatures are lower, I can see myself sitting on one of there swings by the river while enjoying an adult beverage...no need to get up from your sit just scan the online menu and place your order for some food or drinks...they provide ice water and ice for those who prefer to drink good old water or for you four legged friends as well...they seem to be pet friendly as well... This place has such a calm and relaxing mood to hang out...hopefully next time I visit will be in the evening...I can also imagine being here during the Christmas holidays with all the Christmas lighting...

Super cool, off the beaten path, spot on the quieter section of the riverwalk. We were so glad we stumbled upon this place. The ambiance is fairy like and ethereal. They have cool decor, like giant dinosaur landscaping, hanging florals, and Chinese lanterns. Seating options include picnic tables, couches, swings, and hammocks. They also have a cool slide! They also had a band while we were there on a Sunday afternoon, which was awesome! They have a large drink menu, as well as food and a stuffed cookie and ice cream shack. I had a frozen strawberry margarita and it was boozy. A bunch of their cocktails are quite strong at 17% ABV. We did not try the food, but it looked good. You order at the counter or from a QR code at your table. It was a really chill spot to relax and enjoy some drinks along the riverwalk. Family and pet friendly. It is also super close to the museum of art (and the old town trolley stop if visiting the area).

Great place to hang out with friends, grab a bite to eat, socialize, and listen to music. Friday and Saturday nights are all the way live. It's such a great addition to the community. Check their website for events happening Monday-Sunday. There's a whole lot going on and will keep you entertained. We ordered food from Elsewhere Kitchen and got the Impossible Not A Burger, it was pretty good. Loved the spicy brown mustard. And the Nashville Chicken Sandwich was amazing. Loved the red bell peppers and the Nashville Oil & Dust. Delicious. The surrounding area is beautiful, especially at night. It's perfect for couples who enjoying holding hands while taking a stroll. The twinkle lights, sounds of nature, and music sets the perfect tone. Or, if you just want to sit and relax, sip and beer and take in the scenery, Elsewhere has these cute swing chairs that give a perfect view over-looking the river.

The ambiance of this place really stood out to me first. It is so relaxing and chill. Loved the option for THC infused drink and the swings that over look the riverwalk. Everything is so whimsical and interesting to look at. I love the vibes here I could hang out here all day! Only thing is, the food is a tad bit on the expensive side.

We decided to stop at Elsewhere Garden Bar & Kitchen as it was on the way back to our hotel from the Pearl area and looked like a fun little stop. The decorations are very fun and colorful and really draw you in. As we had a big breakfast and had dinner plans, we decided to split the grilled chimichurri chicken sandwich and then each have a drink (a margarita for me). There are two separate lines for food and drink orders so we decided to start at the food line. The line went quickly and the gentleman at the counter was very friendly! We then ordered our drinks and realized they also had games so we checked out a little card game to play. The drinks were ready first and we just picked those up at the window. For a plain margarita with just a salt rim, I thought it was an odd color and that it also tasted a bit weird but luckily it wasn't a bad weird. The sandwich and fries it came with were delicious (it's easy to get sauces and silverware at the self serve area). All in all, this was a fun experience and we were really glad we stopped in.

Our twelve guests ranged in age from 14-79 years, and everyone had a wonderful experience. We began with waters for the table, soft drinks, and cocktails/mocktails (Man Walks into a Bar, Amba No. 5, Don Alberto, Green Shug Collins). Due to our large party, we had booked a chef's tasting experience, which was spectacular. The appetizers were plentiful, flavorful, and unique. Our server, Anissa, did a wonderful job of explaining each dish-- its components, highlights, even suggesting that after finishing the beef dumplings, we stir the oil and yogurt together for an amazing pita dipping sauce. Our meal included four meats-- actually five, considering an off menu chef's creation for our pescatarian guest. It was such an immersive experience, I never took out my phone to capture photos of the food (or our group, sadly). Three desserts topped off the evening. When (not if) we return, we'll certainly request Anissa again. She made the evening a complete delight, even bringing out celebratory candles for our honored guests.
