My first time coming to the Roundabout for a nice little female evening event, I enjoyed the ambience of the place. It was really laid-back, with nice seats and benches and chairs for everyone to enjoy their time. I enjoyed the non-alcoholic drinks. Everyone else enjoyed their drinks. The empanadas were delicious. The staff was very nice and made our time there enjoyable.

Cute spot to get snacks, enjoy music and have some drinks. Love the ambiance, friendly staff. Empanadas and frito pies were good. Definitely recommend.

So cool! The vibes inside are absolutely amazing! It gives like a hippy bar vibes. There is a fresh and calming yet somewhat edgy feel to this place. Really cool! They offer a small but cool variety of snacks and a huge variety of drinks. Unfortunately I couldn't try any due to pregnancy but it all sounded and looked really good. The staff was so so kind and helpful enough to cater to my limited options. Frito pie was nice and hot, really good and loaded up! The snacks were quite tasty and this is definitely a cool hangout spot!

This is a super fun neighborhood spot. They offer a nice assortment of nonalcoholic options including super tasty matcha drinks and canned kombucha from some local sources. I highly recommend their huge a$s pretzel which is usually piping hot, soft, buttery, and just a drool fest. It's served with cheese or mustard and I generally go for the gooey cheese. There was one time when the pretzel could have benefited from a couple more minutes in the oven, but it was still consumed. The do have many other food options, lots of snack options, and wine by the bottle. You will always find something you'll love! I also can't say enough about how fun it is to go on Singo night. Yes, musical bingo! Everyone working the venue is so kind and welcoming. I hope this is a local staple forever.

Yes, you can have a beer here. But you don't have to. There's live music sometimes, games to play, snacks to purchase, and all-around good vibes to enjoy.

Roundabout is a welcoming hangout with drinks, snacks, and unique decor. They have local beers on tap and special drinks like a matcha lemonade. Depending on your mood, there are savory foods like pretzel chips with a variety of dips, and also heartier fare like the muffuletta sandwich. It's not just a bar and eatery, but also a store with products like candies and gummies. The neighborhood around the traffic circle has galleries and antiques stores that offer opportunities for browsing and collecting.

I have been looking for the Monbon Sandos and they had them! I'll definitely be going back to try what else they have but I was in a hurry that day. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Great little bar in Beacon Hill! Love the variety of wine/beer & local goodies. The service is always top notch and the owners are just the nicest people. Definitely recommend stopping in for a drink!

What a cool new place. If you know Denise and Noel, you know that they know what they're doing when it comes to eateries and bars and hang outs. The bar is great. They have a wonderful selection. Non-alcoholic fare is available as well. The eats are wonderful. Their pretzels are some of the best I've ever had. I've been twice and can't wait to go back. I went last weekend for a hang and played Scrabble. Hadn't played in decades. I hadn't ever played a full game. I did that night. Get to the Roundabout, your new neighborhood hang out. Tell Ryan I said "hey!"

The hummus with the fresh pita was probably my favorite part of the meal, and the grilled skewers had a really nice char without being dry. The Turkish coffee was also strong and really good. Service was quick and servers paid attention to detail. Great place for date night or hanging out with friends. Plenty of great food options to choose from. Glad I tried it because the quality was amazing!

We had five people in our party and we received 15 dishes, including desert. The fire roasted corn and tirshi completely stole the show for me--both were rich, vibrant, and unforgettable. The piping hot pita bread deserves its own spotlight--so, so tasty, soft, and perfect for scooping up every last bite. And the wagyu? Cooked to absolute perfection--tender, flavorful, and worth every bite. A special shoutout to the staff, who helped me celebrate my birthday in such a thoughtful way without ever making it feel over-the-top or cheesy. It really made the night feel personal and memorable. We ended with the Malabi, which was refreshingly cold, perfectly tart, and beautifully rose-flavored--an ideal finish to an already amazing meal. This was one of those dinners where you're already planning your return before you even leave. Truly a 5-star experience from start to finish.

Instagram is begging you to take photos. The food? Let's just say my plate didn't stand a chance. Every bite had flavor doing the absolute most (in the best way). I came for dinner and left emotionally attached to the menu. Service was friendly, fast, and made me feel like a regular--even though it was my first visit. Bonus points because no one judged me for contemplating a second entrée "for research purposes." Would I come back? Immediately. Would I recommend? Already have. Chika isn't just dinner--it's an experience with a side of "why didn't I come here sooner?"

Good fish, great service, but the concept needs work…read more Chika was an interesting experience. They're clearly going for a club-style omakase vibe with music, darker lighting, and a smoky atmosphere. It's cute that they tried to blend a nightlife feel with sushi. For me, it didn't quite land, but I can appreciate the attempt. Service was impeccable. The team was warm, attentive, and professional throughout the night. The food was decent for the price, but the flavor curation felt off. The soup tasted like bland water. The poke/nacho was okay but leaned too salty. The salad felt like a basic garden salad tossed in as an afterthought. The fish itself was fresh, which matters most for sushi. Where it struggled was in execution and timing. The nigiri was made all at once for the entire group instead of paced out. Sushi really should be eaten within a certain window, and by the time we got through everything the flavors started blending together. The seasoning also felt inconsistent. At one point the chef zested too much lime on several pieces which left a bitter note and pushed citrus onto dishes that didn't need it. It felt like the kitchen was vibing more with the music and DJ energy than carefully building flavor profiles. Overall, good fish and decent sushi, but the curation and taste balance are missing. The ambiance seems to be the main focus rather than the food itself. Still worth trying once. It's a fun concept and a good night out. I just don't think it's the place that will put San Antonio on the sushi map yet.
