This place was so nice--the atmosphere was calm and sophisticated at the same time. The wine selections were plentiful, and the sommelier was very helpful while we perused the wine selection. The staff made excellent recommendations that paired perfectly with our meal, and the service was attentive without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience--perfect for a date night or a relaxing evening with friends. I'll definitely be coming back!

we went for the $1 oysters (which were tasty) however, the drinks were $10+ each. which at most places i would've been ok with HOWEVER, the staff was SO RUDE. they made me feel so dumb for asking where to pick up my food was, gave me a dirty look when i asked if they have cocktail sauce, and just overall made the experience very unpleasant and uncomfortable. we will unfortunately not be back :/

Trendy wine bar with a massive selection of wine spanning wall to wall. They serve some food items as well and on certain days they'll have specials (ie dollar oysters on wednesdays, lobster roll Fridays during the summer). This is a unique place and wonderful gathering spot for friend groups and young people. Lots of outdoor seating. Air conditioning inside. Good service

Amazing!!! Great diversity of wine selection and craft beer! Don't get me started on the bread with the little black salt, yumyyyyy. Perfect place for a little solo date, date, and after a long run. After a few mile run we always say there's a cold glass of wine at the end of the line. 10/10 recommend! Parking can be tricky at times if it's super busy but that's st.marys as a whole.

Amazing and eclectic wine bar!! This is one of our favorite places to relax, especially for a "Sunday Funday"! There is indoor and outdoor seating, a great selection of wines that are predominantly European. If you are a fan of US wines, they have a couple as well. The decor is unique, especially the facade which is alone worth the visit. Wines are reasonably priced they have a nice selection of light bites, including cheese, very fresh warm sourdough bread and olives just to name a couple of our "go to's". On select days, the airstream trailer parked outside serves up oysters and other seafood varieties. It is a perfect place to hang with friends, especially outside during the fall months.

From the outside, I would never have guessed this to be a wine place. It's a small building covered in graffiti art and has the vibe of hipster/grunge. But inside, you'll see floor to ceiling shelves of wines sold by the bottle. You can also purchase just a glass to try, if you prefer. In addition to wine, they have a modest menu of food items including things like sourdough bread and a cheese plate. It's perfect pairing for the wine. Service is friendly but subdued, as is the entire ambience. You order at the counter and grab a seat-either indoor or out, and your food is brought to you. I visited in the early afternoon on a Sunday and it was pretty quiet. Maybe later in the night on a weekend, it might get hopping in there.

As a wine enthusiast, I've been wanting to check this place out for a while. I've been following their events on Instagram and greatly enjoyed their Beaujolais coverage, with my favorite post being one where the owner's shirt had 'left the chat' prompting a top comment that still makes me laugh: "Well, that escalated quickly." I asked the friendly staff what they would like people to know about this wine bar and they said that they want to introduce more people to great wine in a fun, non intimidating way. The knowledgeable staff definitely contribute to that mission offering detailed descriptions of the wines, delivered in a way that shows they really understand the wine and have enjoyed it themselves. You'll go inside to order from the menu on the wall where you can order food as well. They have a refrigerator with cold wine for purchase plus many other carefully curated wines lining the walls. We enjoyed the Suire Samir Blanc white wine during our visit, it was perfectly chilled, crisp and delicious. We're excited to come back to try some of their food and explore new wines. Give them a follow and a visit if you want to enjoy great wine in an intimate, well air-conditioned setting inside. If sitting outside you'll be surrounded by stunning provocative murals that playfully reflect the wine bar's name. Check out the team bios on their website, thank me later.

This was a chill and cool space with knowledgeable and helpful staff. I wanted to try Texas wine so we tried a bottle from Lightsome 2023 field blend, which was balanced, easy to drink, lighter in texture, and nice soft acidity. Overall I loved the space and would come more if still lived near.

Cute little wine place! The interior is small but they sure make up for it with a great selection of wine. I stopped by really quick and asked for some recommendations which the counter person was happy to help with. I tried a local rose which was wonderful and was exactly what I was looking for. I also purchased a french white which I haven't tried yet but I can't wait. Will definitely return. Perhaps I will sample some wines by the glass and enjoy some of their charcuterie. There's parking out front but it's small so come early. Check on Instagram for events they have during the week.

My favorite wine bar in town! A nice little hidden gem. Pretty hipster and cute. Inside is very intimate and cozy with a couple tables. There's more seating outside! Just an overall fabulous vibe. The staff is very knowledgeable, but not snobby. The selection is incredible! I've tried so many wines I've never seen anywhere else and have LOVED them. Such a special place and an ideal environment to catch up with a friend over a bottle of wine! They sell select wines by the glass and sell certain snacks like bread, cheese, etc. and have Oyster truck on Wednesdays I believe (sounds sketchy, but they're great too! lol) If you haven't tried this place already, this is your sign. Cheers!

Very intimate and relaxed space for a good glass of wine. They had a huge selection of bottles for purchase both in and out of the fridge. We got 2 glasses of white, one was a reisling and the other a bubbly that I cannot remember the name of unfortunately lol -- the service was quick. We sat outside with a few other couples because there weren't any seats inside, which was fine. Overall had a nice glass while the music from the bars kept the vibe nightly.

It's perfect for an intimate and relaxed evening. Generous pours and knowledgeable staff. I love the water being fully available for patrons in the cutest bottles and glass wear. Gives off rustic yet artful and cozy. A great find for a chill evening. I did not try the food but the wine was great.

I not a natural wine expert by any means the wine we had here were hit or miss. We wanted to try this place to get more acquainted with natural wine. I wish there were an option to do flights or tasting to help people like me discover the smaller world or natural wines. It important to note not all their wines are natural so do ask to clarify if that's what you're interested in. The do allow outside food which a lot of people were taking advantage of.

It seems like reservations are encouraged. At every visit, the servers greeted me with water and asked for my dietary preferences. You can tell that the servers all work together as I had other servers stop by to pack up my food and refill my water. I do love how they offer to pack up my leftovers and do so very nicely. 1st visit: My server was a sweetheart, very attentive, and super nice! I made reservations for 5PM on a Friday. I was one of the first to arrive, but the restaurant quickly filled up. I opted for the Mezas De Alegria, the server brought out Tirshi, Roasted Cabbage, Steamed Red Snapper, and Olive Oil Cake! All were very tasty, my favorites being the Tirshi and Steamed Red Snapped! I also ordered the Greek Wine flight, I enjoyed the Troupis wine best! Out of all of my dining experiences, this was by far my favorite! 2nd visit: My server was also attentive and kind. This time, I didn't make a reservation, I just walked in but was able to be seated at 11AM on a Sunday. I opted the for Turkish Brunch and the Mint Limonada, and they were able to accommodate my dietary preference! Everything was good once again, my favorites were the Grilled Olive and Tomato Salad, Fire Roasted Peppers, and Shakshuka. The Mint Limonada was too sweet for my preference, I had to water it down with some water. 3rd visit: My most recent server was very sweet and kind but wasn't as attentive. I made reservations for 5PM on Friday. She got held up by a table nearby a couple of times. I tried items from the Culinaria Restaurant Week Menu (Armenian Salad, Texas Waygu Kebabs, and Local Fruit Sorbet) Everything was soo good and flavorful. I really enjoyed the Armenian Salad. The Texas Waygu Kebabs were good, but a little chewy for my preference. They were cooked about Med-Well/Well done, though I prefer my beef to be cooked Medium, but I wasn't asked about my preference. I also wasn't given a steak knife and tried to wait for my server, but she was with another table for a while. I had to use my butter knife... The Local fruit sorbet was very refreshing and a light dessert to end my evening. Overall, great experiences, flavor-packed food! I enjoy Mediterranean food, so I'll be back to try more items off their menu!

Amazing service from start to finish, we were seated as soon as we arrive in a lovely booth and served right away! Then on the weekend you can choose the Turkish brunch or go al la carte which was our choice. We ordered a variety of their dips with their house made flatbreads. We enjoyed hummus, beet muhammara, grilled olive dip - this was one of my favorites, Tirshi - another one of my favorites which is a butternut squash dish, fire roasted corn and fire roasted eggplant! Everything was amazing Glad we choose this restaurant as the food, service, ambience is all perfect! Great choice for our family lunch before back to college starts !

Instagram is begging you to take photos. The food? Let's just say my plate didn't stand a chance. Every bite had flavor doing the absolute most (in the best way). I came for dinner and left emotionally attached to the menu. Service was friendly, fast, and made me feel like a regular--even though it was my first visit. Bonus points because no one judged me for contemplating a second entrée "for research purposes." Would I come back? Immediately. Would I recommend? Already have. They're clearly going for a club-style omakase vibe with music, darker lighting, and a smoky atmosphere. It's cute that they tried to blend a nightlife feel with sushi. For me, it didn't quite land, but I can appreciate the attempt. Service was impeccable. The team was warm, attentive, and professional throughout the night. The food was decent for the price, but the flavor curation felt off. The soup tasted like bland water. The poke/nacho was okay but leaned too salty. The salad felt like a basic garden salad tossed in as an afterthought. The fish itself was fresh, which matters most for sushi. Where it struggled was in execution and timing. The nigiri was made all at once for the entire group instead of paced out. Sushi really should be eaten within a certain window, and by the time we got through everything the flavors started blending together. The seasoning also felt inconsistent. At one point the chef zested too much lime on several pieces which left a bitter note and pushed citrus onto dishes that didn't need it. It felt like the kitchen was vibing more with the music and DJ energy than carefully building flavor profiles. Overall, good fish and decent sushi, but the curation and taste balance are missing. The ambiance seems to be the main focus rather than the food itself. Still worth trying once. It's a fun concept and a good night out. I just don't think it's the place that will put San Antonio on the sushi map yet.
