I hate that I have to post this. I really don't want you (or anyone else) to know what a cool little spot this is. I want to keep it all to myself but alas I cannot do this to the hard working gals there. And I am not joking about the hard working gals, you just seen them walking back and forth picking up more beer or ice. Hard working! So be nice and help them out by cleaning up after yourself or your group - there a many trash cans available. Put things back where you found them. Hear this. Hear this: Adults only. Yes, it's an ADULT beer garden. No one under 21 allowed. Well behaved pets allowed. location- tucked behind the Helotes Country club (funky little dive bar). The oak covered seating area is inviting. The bar is off to the back right side of the property right next to the chickens. Yes they have these beautiful chickens. There is a covered area. Multiple fire pits (they can supply the cedar for a quick burn) in the winter/ cold season. Astroturf, brick and rock flooring - make a really nice combination. Don't forget to look up at the lights on the trees or whimsical decor- they did a great job. 2 wine frozen drinks available, red sangria, canned wine along with your usual beer choices although they have a few surprises. Right now there is no food but you are allowed to bring your own or even have it delivered. Potty- 2 porta potties, use the restroom in the "country club" or walk over the the grounds next door for the public facilities (quick walk) They have some nice country music playing that just lulls you to relax. Definitely my most favorite beer garden in San Antonio/ Helotes.

Came here after checking out busted sandal in the area, and I can't believe this place wasn't busy! This would be a great place to check out before (or after) a concert at Floores, or just a fun hangout spot. They had a large variety of beers, seltzers, ciders, and other drinks. It was also very reasonably priced, especially for the area. They had two port-a-potties on site, but they were really fancy and clean! So it wasn't an issue at all. The bartender was very friendly. They have different seating options, and outdoor games like giant jenga or cornhole. They're also dog friendly! Definitely a cool spot to check out in the helotes area!

Excellent outdoor getaway!! Very relaxing environment, great scenery, cornhole games, fire pits for cooler evenings, great selection of beer, this place has it all Including fresh chicken eggs, and even clean port o potties!!. If there is a concert at Floore's and you don't want to pay to enter or its sold out? No problem, you can hear the music crystal clear here and still be able to carry on conversations with your peers. Highly recommended this place. Hopefully they'll get some food trucks soon to be the complete one stop shop.

This is such a good place to come and just have a couple drinks. There's plenty of outdoor seating and the place is beautiful.

This place is great & has such a welcoming atmosphere! It's the cutest outdoor bars i've been to! Always have a blast here!

What an awesome place to hang out with friends and have some drinks. All of the trees provide a lot of great, natural shade but most tables also have umbrellas as well. There is over sized Jenga, over sized connect four, and corn hole available. A couple of tables have fire pits to sit around. The outdoor bar has a ton of great beer, wine, cider, and frozen drink options. A little bit of something for everyone. I highly suggest this relaxing and enjoyable piece of Helotes!

I headed to my old stomping grounds and found the city had changed so much!!! When I lived in SA, I NEVER came across a place such as this. Tucked away in what can best be described as a recreation of small town Main Street, is a really neat beer garden. There is so much seating, I feel like it can never really get overly packed. The seating areas are well spaced out so even though there were quite a few people, it didn't really feel like there were. There are a variety of picnic tables, swing tables, Adirondack chairs set around fire pits, benches...I mean, you name it, they have it. There are a variety of outdoor light fixtures hanging from trees that canopy the entire area, so this can make for a really great date night. There is one bar, and they have mostly ciders, hard seltzer beers, frozen margaritas, but are best known for their homemade sangria. They also sell fresh eggs (the chickens wander around a fenced area behind the bar). The sangria is a little on the sweet side, but still enjoyable. I feel like it just needed a bit more acidity, or a dryer red wine base. There is parking right in front of the beer garden, but if that is full, you can always park at the entrance of "Main Street" and walk over. There is a bar across the street from the beer garden that has an indoor bathroom. If you can put up with the smell of smoke (it's grandfathered in apparently to some old law), then you can use their facilities instead of the beer garden's porta potty. They don't allow pets or children per some locals so if you have either, you may need to look elsewhere. There were no food trucks the night we ventured there, but usually on Saturday's, there are at least two so you can a small bite with your drinks. Despite that, this is a great place to talk, play some cornhole, and enjoy a nice SA night.

    Silkie chickens! Sooo cute!

We booked a 1:30 reservation about 10 days in advance. My in-laws arrived around 1:15 and we got there shortly before our reservation time, but we still didn't get seated until around 1:45. To be fair, it was Mother's Day and the restaurant was busy, although there were a few empty tables while we waited. One thing they absolutely got right was the remodel. The old space used to feel dark and cramped, but the updated interior feels much more open, modern, and inviting. Our waitress was also excellent throughout the meal--attentive, kind, and clearly doing her best to keep up with a packed dining room. Unfortunately, that's where most of the positives ended for us. The chips were thicker than usual but still good, and while the salsa had decent flavor, it had almost no heat at all. We also ordered guacamole without onions, but it came across very bland and could've used more lime, seasoning, and some jalapeño to brighten it up. My wife did enjoy her strawberry margarita, which was both flavorful and noticeably strong. I ordered the mole enchiladas and found the mole sauce surprisingly flat and lacking depth. Other dishes around the table were described as just okay overall, although the kids were very happy with the thick, fluffy pancakes. The biggest issue was timing. We didn't receive our entrees until almost 3:00 PM, which made for a very long wait, especially with kids at the table. To the restaurant's credit, they brought out two slices of cake to apologize even though we never complained. Overall, we left pretty underwhelmed, especially considering the occasion. The excellent table-side service couldn't fully make up for the slow kitchen and uneven food quality. I'd be willing to give them another try on a less hectic day, but this visit didn't quite live up to expectations.

It is very rustic which made it feel super authentic It is owned by a family husband and wife. For the sides I got the sauerkraut and the potato salad. My friend got the chicken schnitzel with the cabbage and French fries Let me start by saying it is CHEAP!! My plate is $21.50! It is huuuge! Me the one who can eat a lot! I couldn't even tackle half of it! It definitely can feed easily 2 hungry people! Everything tasted amazing! The cordon bleu though is next next level! I so wish it is closer to me I would just go have lunch there every single Saturday! Also it is true when service is friendly the whole experience becomes better!
