Stopped by for an estimate after backing one our cars into another. I really needed to get my new drivers side mirror installed but the frame where it connects was bent badly. The people were so nice and not only gave me a great price but said could do it right then in about 1/2 hour. I waited for it and it is fixed very well. Gary @ Martinez Auto Body has worked on 3 generations of my family's automobiles. The first car I owned was a 1968 Firebird and Gary and his team did an incredible job of restoring it to its original condition in 1978. Most of my friends took their cars to Gary and they all turned out beautiful. Now it is 2016, and I am still taking our cars to Gary. Gary's team did a great job repairing our 2005 Mercedes SUV - it was a perfect job. Gary's team just completed body and paint on our 1988 Mercedes Roadster. These guys are the best, not just in the genre of auto body shops, but in the entire realm of business. I was involved in a situation where my parked vehicle was struck; I agreed to work things out with the person who struck my vehicle as they wanted to bypass an insurance claim by paying out of pocket. Naturally, I thought it was going to be a PITA, but because of the customer service, professionalism, and efficieny of Martinez Auto Body (MAB), it was almost as painless as a routine oil change. I discussed the issue with Sean at MAB who quickly provided a quote (about $500 less than another quote I had obtained) and got me scheduled right away. Sean contacted the other party for a parts deposit (I needed a new bumper), but was able to secure the entire quote amount via credit card (I have no doubt Sean put the other party at ease leading to a fast resolution). Sean estimated about three days of work, but I was able to pick up my car literally a day later (okay, I'm exaggerating, a day and 3 hours!). In between the time I got the quote and picked up my car at the end, Sean called me several times at every step in the process from what his findings were upon inspection to discussion with the other party about payment and, finally, to ask what time I wanted to pick up my baby so they could give it a bath. All-in-all I was fully satisfied with my experience with MAB. I worked with Sean and give him the utmost kudos, but have no doubt you will be treated well by any other staff. By the way, did I forget to mention, the bumper is as good as new! read more

I would give this business 10 stars if I could. Took my car in today 7/17/17 because the front passenger side bumper was coming apart and the plastic under carriage was rubbing against the tire and making noise. Sean removed the plastic and reattached the bumper and didn't charge me. It was very hot and their office air conditioner was much appreciated while I was waiting. They were highly recommended to me by another Martinez auto business and I am happy I took their advice. read more

Excellent all the way! I found this place through Yelp when I needed some repairs and they were approved through the insurance company. Ordered the parts ahead of time so my car would be in the shop the minimal amount of time. Handled everything directly with the insurance company so I didn't have to do anything! This review is long overdue, but I just want to share my experience from May 2017 with this shop. My son had just gotten his first car (a used car in very decent shape) and managed to tear off the front bumper while trying to back out of a tight alleyway. The damage was significant as he got it hooked on a wrought iron fence that had no give. I had taken it to a place near me just due to convenience and lets just say the interaction was very bad and I had to find another solution fast. I had been given the cell phone number for Gary Martinez and gave him a call. Explained the situation and was told in a kind and supportive manner that they couldn't guarantee a better quote than the first place but they certainly would do everything they could to help. And they did! They found used parts for everything and even some really good deals on some of what was needed. They got the work done quickly and worked with my schedule to be open for me to pick it up as soon as it was ready. It looked like new when I got it! I will go to them with all my car work for as long as I live in CA -they have created a truly loyal customer and deserve it. read more

I am one of the kind usually dont leave feedback but my experience with Martinez Autobody is fabulous. I have reasons for selecting exceptional service provided by this autobody shop. My car had a dent on one side of the door, and 1) Gary helped me to provide an estimate without any charge. As you see rarely invest their time on this for free where as other autobody shop charge for providing an estimate itself. 2) Most of the time they accommodated while the shop is about to close even though they are very patient in their service as I have to come to this shop atleast 35 miles away. 3) The quality of work is fabulous as no one can find out was there a dent (made it to pre-accident condition)4) In the coarse of time, as the quality work took additional time hence he has arranged the rental car by their own. 5) All these he has accomplished what was approved for this dent with any extra money from me and that too he refunded (other bodyshop) estimate charge as well. 6) He has helped to follow-up with settlement team as who is responsible for paying the damage. It is very rare to see such a person and autobody shop. And I absolutely dont have any negative thoughts and points to bring up. You can blindly take your car for getting restored to manufacturer condition. Thanks Gary for all your great help and service. read more
