She personified classic Nordstrom values and customer service. She was kind, bubbly, and courteous. I'm sure she probably wakes up that way every day and uses her spirit to achieve and anything she does, but on this day, she represented Nordstrom and the white club experience. I grew up knowing. She explained to me I don't buy item what was the final sale and how all of the policies worked. She was warm and empathetic from beginning to end. What a profile and professional excellence. Thank you, Nordstrom for restoring my faith and great service.

My sister has been looking for a pair of Hokas on sale and this was the second Rack location she tried. Unfortunately no luck here, but I tagged along and tried on some shoes. They have a very large selection of good designer shoes...the largest choice of Sam Edelman shoes I've seen in ages. The discounts are good, not great. I ended up choosing a pair of EVA Arizona Birkenstock sandals. At $54.95 they are $5 more than buying on Birkenstock direct website, so no savings especially as free membership allows you free shipping. However, I wasn't sure of my size for this brand so it was helpful to try several pairs out in person. The salespeople here were low key and helpful if asked for assistance. The store was large, cool, well lit and had a large selection. The store was larger than the ones I have gone to in Sacramento. I briefly looked at personal care items and they had a nice selection. Otherwise, we didn't have time to look at much else as we wanted to head home and beat the traffic. I am taking one star away for no discount on the shoes and the fact they when I got home I realized the security tag hadn't been removed at checkout . Fortunately my Dad had a bolt cutter and he took it off for me.

On my last visit there, I was assisted by Alona (had her write it down for accuracy) she was kind, professional, asked if I was a member with any coupons, etc. I just felt recognized, happily assisted, and found some really good retail bargains. Plus parking is right out the door. It's the perfect stop to get in, spend money, and get back on the freeway.

The styles range from bold, frilly to classic, neutrals. The main attraction for me is the petite section. Having a dedicated petite section is rare in any women's clothing shop and in particular in an outlet shop. Plus they always seem to have a markdown. Anyways on my last shopping trip, part of my purchase was incomplete. The cashier made a honest mistake. I did not notice it was missing until I got home. Oh boy. So the next day I called the store and explained. The associate said the manager will call me back in a few days. I thought to myself, this may go nowhere. But no, the manager called back. She made arrangements and left instructions for the staff regarding my order. I told her I would not be back for a couple of months. She replied that it would be no problem. Sure enough it was not. On my return visit, I explained to the associate and she had to check the notes. She quickly returned and my transaction was fixed and completed. I understand that mistakes happen. The management handled the situation well and rectified the problem. The staff was informed of my situation and was ready for my return visit. The transaction was quick and effortless. Great customer service from my initial call to the store through returning in person.

You can't get a shirt below $65 or a sundress below $100-$160!! That's even with their 20% sale markdown! What the heck? Are they trying to market themselves with neighboring White House-Black market or to better fit the higher income earners of the higher priced homes being built? This markup hardly reflects the majority of our community. They can't use the tariff excuse as their cost increase was only 15% at best, NOT 45% or more like they are like the price increases we are seeing right now! This is wild and I won't be shopping there anymore. They lost a lifelong customer here, shame on you guys. Stuff is not cheap here with an average price point of $40 per item so i expect better customer service than i received the two times i visited. First time I came was mid December and I tried on at least 25 items and my sales girl never came to check on me. Instead my friend had to go get me sizes and put my discards away. Second time was this past weekend almost the same scenario until eventually I had to go find an employee find a pair of pants my friend could not find for me. I find this so odd in a store like this. Ironically I used to be a manager for Casual Corner that actually occupied this very spot that WHBM is now housed. It would be appalling to not to help a customer when she is obviously shopping and wanting to buy. They must not have sales quotas, have to maintain client books like we did or have your job depend on the service you give. Or maybe they were just not trained on how to sell? For that, I am giving a benefit of the doubt by giving 3 stars. We'll see how next time goes.

So it's no surprise that the outlet store did not dissapoint. It's on the smaller size, but packs a great punch with tons of great clothes, and accessories. The prices are fantastic, and very reasonable! I found a gorgeous cream top for only $14.99 down from $30. The staff was super sweet and friendly and even engaged my daughter by waving to her and talking to her, which I thought was sweet. I got on their mailing list for catalogs, and upcoming deals which is gonna be dangerous for my bank account, but great for my closet! :-)
