Daiso Vacaville is one of my favorite places to stop when shopping at the nut tree! They have tons of cute stationery, trinkets, kitchenware, snacks, gift-wrapping supplies, craft items, and so many random little things you wouldn't expect. I always end up finding something fun or useful every time I go. Great prices and such a fun store to browse.

We came to this Daiso around 5:45pm on the opening day 11/2/2024. The store was not too busy, but they were still doing crowd control, so we did have to wait in a short line before being let in. I have been to other Diaso stores that are packed, so I found it funny they were doing crowd control with only 10-20% capacity. Maybe they did not want to overwhelm their employees as it's their opening day. I was talking to the employee in charge of crowd control outside the door and she said at opening they were really busy and the crowd more recently died down. For their Grand Opening weekend, they offered a nice goodie bag for the first 100 shoppers that purchase over $30 each day (11/2 & 11/3). This store was very well stocked. I didn't have any questions for the employees, but I did overhear some questions from other customers and the employees seemed knowledgeable enough, but sometimes did struggle a little answering customer questions, but it's a new store. Overall I am glad they finally opened a Daiso (I like to call them the "Japanese Dollar Store") in Vacaville, so I do not need to travel to the Bay Area, Concord or Sacramento now to grab some really useful items at a cheap and affordable price. The quality of their items are much better quality than American Dollar Store items.

FINALLY!!! I'm so happy Daiso opened nearby me and I don't have to make the extra drive to Concord to get my $1.75 goodies! They had a grand opening event this past weekend and gave away goodie bags to the first 100 customers on both grand opening days if you spend over $30. They're located in the Nut Tree Plaza and they took over the old Charming Charlie building (RIP) from years ago. The workers were very professional, friendly and helpful. They let in a limited amount of customers at a time during the grand opening, but it went by pretty fast. Inside is very organized, everything that is unmarked is $1.75 unless marked otherwise. Unfortunately they didn't have an item that I usually get from the Concord location, but one of the employees informed me that they'll most likely have a lot more items coming in the future after the grand opening. Fingers crossed! From seasonal decor, to kitchen gadgets, to stationery, to crafts, beauty, gift wrapping supplies, etc etc Daiso has your back.

Located in the Nut Tree Plaza area, you can find the Daiso one corner near Five Below and across from Tillys. First of all, I am so very glad to have a Daiso in our area rather than going all the way to Concord or Sacramento! Just like any other Daiso, there's a lot of items ranging from household, office supplies, gardening, and even snacks and drinks and more. Highly recommend going up and down ALL the aisles because you may not need anything, but you'll find something to buy and great, reasonable prices. The store is clean as organized. The staff are helpful and nice. And now that's it's been a week since opening, there's no crazy line

Beyond hyped for another Daiso to open up! I came during the middle of the day when the crowd died down; there was still a line outside to maintain crowd control inside, but the wait wasn't too long. Like all other Daiso stores, this place offers everything: stationery, kitchen stuff, home supplies, seasonal stuff, etc! The inside is nice and organized, and there are workers all around to help you with anything. Take your time walking through each aisle, and you're bound to find something, all for a reasonable price!

looks like they scissor the bands. Bought 20 pcs and 18 of them were damaged

I always go to Daiso in the Peninsula/Bay Area and now that they opened in Vaca, tried swinging by there after having fun time with my fur babies.. 1. This location since it's new does not have much products compared to the one in Daly City and San Mateo 2. Their items are old styles 3. They have headbands or hair accessories that were damaged/broken, I honestly overlooked at it and didn't notice. 4. Their no return no exchange policy is BS as they should train their cashiers to say it or at least put a board somewhere where people can see it like what most stores do and say.. The broken hair accessories was only $1 but I bought 20 of them and can't imagine all of them were broken! And just a minute after I left the store as I showed it to a friend , there goes the broken tie.. As we checked 18 of them are all broken.. Went to the store and the woman with glasses said I should have read the receipt about no return no exchange no refund.. Who in the world will look at the receipt after buying just to read the return policy when if that's how strict they are, cashier or workers should tell customers about it and not base the knowledge on a piece of paper! Most of the stores allow even a store credit or at least a refund exemption on damaged goods hello???!!! Never again will I return to this store who is very inconsiderate and sells damaged old items .. 5. They have Self check out but you need to call a staff to ring it for you, what's the point of the "self" check out

But shower heads were $30-40 compared to $60 at the big home improvement store. Sometimes they have big appliances like fridges, washers, dryers. Big selection of clothing including shoes. They have some furniture as well. (Mattresses, couches, tables.) It's very clean and well organized. The store doesn't smell bad. It's a pleasant shopping experience. There's stuff brand new in the box. If I'm already in the area or nearby I would pop in to see what new inventory they have. I think as long as you think of it almost like a thrift store (no guarantee what you'll find that day although they have a little bit of everything and at what price) you'd be setting reasonable expectations for yourself.

They are an outlet for returns and damaged items, overstock, etc for big box stores like Costco, Sam's Club and Target, so you just have to know the prices of things or you need to search for the original prices on your phone. Generally, their food items are pretty good deals, but you need to check for items being expired or nearing expiration. Today the store was packed full of stuff and to my surprise, plenty of shoppers! They have a good amount of furniture and appliances today. Come check them out if you are looking for some deals on popular items you may be holding out for at the big box stores, you may be able to find it here.

I went to the Vacaville location and the staff was friendly and the store was well stocked. However, there were so many flickering overhead lights that every area of the store was affected. As someone with medical conditions affected by lighting, it was very difficult to get what I needed. When I left, I was shaking and feeling so ill that it took some time for me to recover well enough to drive safely before I could leave the parking lot. This is a disappointment, as the Vacaville location is, in my opinion, one of the better-stocked and better-priced Grocery Outlet locations that I have shopped with. ***EDIT/UPDATE (same day!)*** The store owner responded and acted quickly, and has updated me that the lights are scheduled to be fixed by Friday. I'm happy to see that what I shared was something the store is able to quickly resolve and I hope that any future lighting issues can be fixed before it affects the entire salesfloor. Angela, thanks for acting so quickly and scheduling to have the faulty lights replaced!

She personified classic Nordstrom values and customer service. She was kind, bubbly, and courteous. My sister has been looking for a pair of Hokas on sale and this was the second Rack location she tried. Unfortunately no luck here, but I tagged along and tried on some shoes. They have a very large selection of good designer shoes...the largest choice of Sam Edelman shoes I've seen in ages. The discounts are good, not great. I ended up choosing a pair of EVA Arizona Birkenstock sandals. At $54.95 they are $5 more than buying on Birkenstock direct website, so no savings especially as free membership allows you free shipping. However, I wasn't sure of my size for this brand so it was helpful to try several pairs out in person. The salespeople here were low key and helpful if asked for assistance. The store was large, cool, well lit and had a large selection. The store was larger than the ones I have gone to in Sacramento. I briefly looked at personal care items and they had a nice selection. Otherwise, we didn't have time to look at much else as we wanted to head home and beat the traffic. I am taking one star away for no discount on the shoes and the fact they when I got home I realized the security tag hadn't been removed at checkout . Fortunately my Dad had a bolt cutter and he took it off for me.

When I'm at the outlets, this is one of the shops I must stop at. CB is one of my favorite retail furniture and home stores. Their style leans to being modern and functionally minimalist. I visited recently. The staff greeted us and everyone that walked in. Staff individually moved about the shop asking folks if they needed assistance. We spoke to a couple of associates; they were engaging and helpful. This weekend they are having an additional discount of 10% added to the already tiered markdown prices.. And the items not marked down are 20% off. This sale structure is common of them. The inventory of furniture was in good shape and in my opinion, was marked down accordingly. Don't get me wrong, it's a discount outlet so there's a reason the furniture is there... damaged, retail returned or discontinued. So check out the pieces throughly to see if it meets your standards before purchasing as most items are final sale. And if you like an item, get a sales person attention and stay with the item. Remember since these are not stock pieces. Other folks are also eyeing the same items. This discount shopping ain't for wallflowers.
