Service is always great. The chocolate gold coins I bought for $10 to decorate the gifts were moldy. ( I tried one) Disgusting. I had to call and warn the recipients my to my embarrassment. I give this store 2 stars because I like the products they sell. I do not like checking out because of the high pressure to sign up for a credit card every time I go through the checkstands. If I say no thank you once that should be enough but NO! I have to listen to no less than 3 more ways of trying to convince me I need this card. First time stopping in this Marshalls It's OK it's pretty picked over not a lot of sizes to choose from. You can definitely tell by the selection this store caters to younger customers. The Las Vegas, ones caters to everyone with updated styles to choose from, and a ton of home, decor. read more

Like my daughter says if she could she'd move into Marshall's. It's her favorite store and how can you not love it??? First off this store is amazing because you are greeted by the employees when you walk in and there are plenty of shopping carts available. Two sizes to be precise. But hey it's Marshall's I need that big boy. At first I scan for the clearance areas and head that way. Shoes first, absolutely my weakness, Emelda Marcos relations I'm sure I am. I'm sure I have at least 100 pairs of shoes so I need to keep moving those lime green Converse I need to pass one, lol. But the shoe department was pretty small but tidy. So off to housewares. Their kitchen gadgets and bowls were quite the draw for me. I snagged a few snap lock containers and a folding colander for my RV. Then a few wall decorations too cute signs with sayings. Great prices. Also snagged a large mason jar with a metal lid closure on clearance for $5. Steal! The clothing departments were very orderly and the selections in the pet department was also large. My boyfriend treated me on a $100 shopping spree... with so much good deals I ended up getting 2 jackets, 1 shirt, 1 hair brush, 1 gym bra, 1 backpack/purse for exactly $100.04 lol... Such good deals! I can't wait for all the Spring and Summer dresses to come out! I have to admit that I am a bargain hunter and I almost always find a good one at Marshalls. Last week I wanted some large Ball jars to store Limoncello that was in process and there they were and perfect for what I needed. I love the kitchen department the most, but did pick up a pair of Donald Pliner sandals the other day too. It's clean, relatively organized, and has a good selection of clothing. While they didn't carry as many higher end designer labels as the Marshall's in Sacramento or Roseville, I do always manage to find some cute pieces or just anything in general when I go in. I got some nice cookbooks this time around for under $10 as well as some cute shorts. It's really hit and miss. Their shoe selection seemed decent. They carry Guess and Steve Madden occasionally. I've also seen the Express brand show up from time to time. They have a nice scarf selection for the fall and a good stock of hot tools for hair. read more

I won't shop at Marshalls again. The management and customer service are seriously lacking in kindness and professionalism. The dressing rooms are gross and need a good cleanup, overhaul. There was stuff all over the floors, dirty, and unorganized. The aisles were so crowded, I could barely sort out what was where. Some of the items rang up at the register for higher than the amount shown on the tag. I heard  that the items  they sell are rejects from other businesses. The inside and outside of the store smells like sewage; I had to hold my breath to get back to my car. Most of the workers act like you are lucky to be there and seem reluctant to help customers. Check out Kohls or Burlington Coat Factory instead. read more

They have really good stuff in here... But my 5 Stars are for Kathy C. If I could give her 100 stars I would! The entire staff was nice but Kathy was great. I was in town visiting and my leggings ripped! I went inside asked to try on the pants and if they fit wear them to the register. She said yes. But there was a sensor and she ran all over the place looking for the portable remover thing (idk what it's called) She was able to remove it! She definitely went above and beyond. Terribly disappointing as far as service goes... Selection is hit or miss... i've never bought clothes here at this marshalls, just shoes and maybe an accessory or home stuff. Anywho, i went here last week and they had a lot of sunglasses. Let me just say there display was HORRIBLE. just a bunch of glasses hanging vertically overpacked on tiny rods. REALLY difficult to see the styles that way - And of course this mediocrity of a store did not even have a mirror on the sunglass display so I had to walk over to a nearby mirror to see how they looked. I finally find one pair i like. I wipe it clean and see that there are some minor scratches/distortions on the edge of the lens. But I figure they will give me an extra discount as every other store does. So I go up to the counter and some young chick is there. I asked if I could get the discount and apparently this chick had no authority what so ever or any decision-making skills so without saying anything she immediate walks to the next register to ask some frumpy older lady if I could get a discount. And this bitch says "No!" WTF?!?!?! She says they don't want to sell defective merchandise!!! REALLY???? THEN TAKE CARE OF THE SHIT WHILE IT'S IN YOUR DAMN STORE! Instead of some half ass display, put your shit up properly. If the management knew anything about retail, which they don't, they would know what a mistake they were making. i'm 100% sure i could find MANY other defective scratched sunglasses because the employees are completely incompetent. REALLY. 2 stars because of the prices but in terms of service, it would just be 1 star (it would actually be ZERO if that were possible). A "no clothes on the floor" Marshalls! It's a chain store so I've been to a few to see the worst of Marshalls. This one has to be the cleanest one I've ever been to. It's right next to the Outlet Mall but I'd rather shop here. My favorite things at this location are Betsy Johnson purses, clothes and accessories and random brand soaps, makeup, perfumes and natural foods. I seriously score every time I shop here! This Marshall's store in Vacaville is off the main drag but easy to find. If you are one that shops many of the same chain, you know they are not all the same, you know what I mean. This location is above average. The Supervisor was greeting at the door which was nice because she was saying hi and thanking people for shopping as they left. Almost unheard of these days in customer service. The store was very clean but on a weekend was stocked although quite tossled. Finding items takes time and patience. Their shoes selection was expansive in the amount of different shoes but only one box per size of each usually. Lots of good clearance items all over the store and neatly arranged and signed. They have different items that the usual stock that comes into most stores. The best selection was shoes, kids, home goods, and men's. If you have the time, they have some deals. read more

I honestly prefer TJ MAXX over Marshall's. For some reason I found way more things at TJ MAXX then I do at Marshall's. Even though they are I believe the same store, basically. But anyways, this particular location is just ok. It is clean, and the staff are friendly but the inventory is no good. I feel the prices are just too much. I can even get things a Ross for much cheaper for the same identical thing. Also, Home Goods is also a sister company and I love that store too. Rude, racist, and testy. They don't enforce or even follow their own 6ft rules but honestly who does. I have been followed around this store every time I enter it. With the COVID and all the possibility of infection I find it best to shop nearing the close of the store because there are usually fewer people but time and time again I find Marshall's employees right behind me while I shop. This store is slowly emptying and they seem extremely pressed over their discount goods. I had a cashier look at me with a distasteful gaze, he then stood back took off his mask to have a sip of water and with too much pleasure told me he'd get to when he's done. You had to be there to really catch the whole vibe of it all. But really he was waiting until another cashier was available. Times are hard enough I'm sure his job and that of his fellow employees is stressful but this kind of behavior is disheartening. read more

Very clean and organized store. Although, they have a great selection of everything but clothes!! Their prices are reasonable for the few brand name item they carry. As for the other products, it's not worth the price to pay for cheaply made items that last only a few weeks to a few months depending on the usage. The staff is attentive and offer help often. It's nice, but at the same time, can be a little overbearing and annoying when your in the 'shopping zone'. The most annoying is when I'm clearly on my phone texting or yelp*ing and an associate asks if I need help looking for something... This is one of those stores where if you see something you like, GET IT! If you don't and want it later, you'll regret it cause chances are it won't be here. So we tried doing a store credit return about a minute ago and we had tags on everything and the store policy clearly says 100% guarantee and the "Manager" who was there says that she couldn't do a full return because it wasn't in the system and then she questions my family if we actually purchased them at a Marshalls. ARE YOU SERIOUS? THEY ALL HAVE TAGS ON THEM AND ARE IN PERFECT CONDITION. She was so rude to my family and how dare she questions my family if our purchase was from Marshalls when we clearly have tags on our items? How is she even a manager? read more

Store appearance: Good Customer service: Horrible I went here to kill time with my fiancé. I was interest in trying on some shirts I was considering purchasing. When going to the dressing room I was greeted by personnel. She asked how many items and I showed her the two shirts I was interested in. She grabbed them from me to confirm. (At this point I figured she was following procedure. I understand that they want to minimize theft so although it was pretty obvious I only had two items, I let her proceed.) I took less then 5 minutes trying the items on, gave her the item number plate showing a big #2 on it, and thanked her. She then stopped me to confirm my two items again! Lady, you checked the first time. The one solid blue shirt and one solid grey shirt didn't go anywhere. I have them on the hangers still holding them up to not drag them on the floor. (Made me feel as if I was being profiled.) I head to the cash register and informed the cashier that one of the shirts didn't have a price tag on it, but I saw a comparable for $9.99. She snapped that I should have brought the other shirt with me and I needed to get it. I bite my tongue but started to walk and get it. I walk about 50ft and she hollers, "I can get someone to check." Thanks lady, now you have the store looking at me and brought on unnecessary attention. You could have called for a price check, or asked politely. It's not my fault it didn't have a price tag. So out of spite, I found 5 other comparable shirts in my size that didn't have the price on them either. (So future guests don't have to experience the lack of service.) Went here today for the 1st time and was greeted and offered a shopping cart by the most friendliest greeter! I have to say from all the other Marshall's I have been to, this was the best in terms of customer service. The lady in the fitting room was smiling, even after a few unsuccessful try-ons. The cashier was efficient as well. Very clean. Not too much selection in the purses section, though they had a wide variety of SF Giants clothing for men. Might have came in when they just put it out but got the hubby a $40 SF Giants sweatshirt :) read more

This is not the best Marshalls I've been to, but it does provide that hunt and gather fix I get when I feel the need to shop. The selection is alright. I can only speak for the men's and home section which is what I primarily shop. I love to sift through the home clearance section and check out the men's polos. Definately not for the OCD shopper, but I like these kind of stores. read more
