HomeGoods is always such a fun place to shop. They have a decent selection, and the cashiers are always friendly and welcoming all the times I've gone in. I love browsing here. Great place for home décor, seasonal items, and little things you didn't know you needed.

I adore HomeGoods! It's my go to for quick gifts, fun last minute items, and various things I may need at home. I pretty much stop at HomeGoods store even when I'm traveling. The HomeGoods stores for the most part are all laid out the same, and this location isn't an exception. What is an exception, is that this location seems to be lacking something. Everything was a mess, and I was there right when the store opened. The store should have been tidy, and ready for customers. Nope. Customer service is lacking. I'm accustomed to seeing at least a few people on the floor. Nope. I browsed through the store, and was actually frustrated trying to paw through holiday decor versus regular day to day linens. A few end caps had some cute stuff, but it should have all been grouped together. I rarely comment or use store public restrooms... I made an exception. The dirty bathroom reminded why I don't. I'm perplexed as to why it was so disgusting. Again, the store just opened. I love you guys... but clean up the store! I rarely walk out without anything. I did this time. I can't shop in a messy store.

Great selection of items and reasonable prices as always but customer service hasn't seemed to change as it is not great.

They have a very large selection of good designer shoes...the largest choice of Sam Edelman shoes I've seen in ages. The discounts are good, not great. I ended up choosing a pair of EVA Arizona Birkenstock sandals. At $54.95 they are $5 more than buying on Birkenstock direct website, so no savings especially as free membership allows you free shipping. However, I wasn't sure of my size for this brand so it was helpful to try several pairs out in person. The salespeople here were low key and helpful if asked for assistance. The store was large, cool, well lit and had a large selection. The store was larger than the ones I have gone to in Sacramento. I briefly looked at personal care items and they had a nice selection. Otherwise, we didn't have time to look at much else as we wanted to head home and beat the traffic. I am taking one star away for no discount on the shoes and the fact they when I got home I realized the security tag hadn't been removed at checkout . Fortunately my Dad had a bolt cutter and he took it off for me.

We finally decided to make a dedicated shopping trip out of it, and I was honestly surprised by how large the outlet center is. There are well over a hundred stores, ranging from designer brands to more everyday retailers, so it's easy to spend an entire day there if you're not careful. We quickly realized it was best to focus on a handful of stores rather than trying to see everything. We ended up visiting places like Clarks, Adidas, Levi's, Banana Republic, and Gap. Every store we walked into had impressive sales for selected items or for everything in the store. Some of the prices were the best I had seen in a while. I walked away with two pairs of shoes and a pair of pants, though still nowhere near as much as my significant other bought! Overall, it turned into a fun and relaxing day. One helpful tip: it's an open-air outlet mall, so visiting on a nice day definitely makes the experience more enjoyable.

I don't think it's at all possible to visit every store in the center in one day. Overall, I like this outlet center a lot. Even though I have never bought anything from Kohl's before I decided to purchase through them to get them that specific colored mixer. The box arrived, I checked the box it said "matte black" on the outside, which was correct so I wrapped it up and dropped it off at my friends house. When they finally opened it they discovered it was actually a Teal mixer that was in the box. They let me know and I was so embarrassed that i had given the incorrect gift to them. I now had to make time to drive to their house to pick it up and call to orchestrate the return. When I called customer service they said that due to the cost of the item the return had to be done in person. The closest Kohl's is about a 30 minute drive from me so it took a few weeks for me to have the time to return it. I drove to the Kohl's in Vacaville to do the return/exchange but there wasn't a matte black one in store so I would have to return it. Unfortunately the card I had used to purchase the item was stolen and they needed that card in order to process a refund. They offered me Kohl's cash but that is a lot of money for a store that I don't shop at, and I still needed to spend the money to replace the one I gave my friends as a gift. I was feeling pretty frustrated but luckily Marina R. And Taylor J. (In return department on 3/13 at ~3p) Were able to save the day and come up with a solution that I think was satisfactory for both parties. They were incredibly professional and helpful. I understand that mistakes happen, and that's ok. While it was frustrating having to dedicate so much time and effort toward rectifying Kohl's' error, in the end the problem was solved and Taylor and Marina's customer service may have made a Kohl's shopper out of me!

I don't recall taking the train ride, but for only $5 it's a must do for kiddos these days. Cheaper than a trip to Disneyland. What I really recall is the giant gingerbread people they used to have in their bakery. My parents would never get me one, but every time I saw them the drool was on. They also had quick breads like zucchini bread and the such. I'm a sucker for zucchini breads and other quick breads. I went a few years back ready to get my ginger bread man and some quick bread and to my dismay they don't have any of that anymore. Being an adult now I was so ready to buy all those things my parents wouldn't buy me. Being an adult has those perks. Now the Nut Tree is a place made up of restaurants and some key stone stores such as Ultra and Old Navy. If you hunt around you can find Sees. I really wanted to go to Sees today, but we ran out of time to make the trek over there. We did have time to explore Kirkland. I've never been to a Kirkland before and it turned out to be a real fun store. They had a great deal on diffusers. 1/5 the price of the ones I saw in Fort Bragg. I found one that I LOVED the scent to in Fort Bragg, but couldn't rationalize spending the money on it. I almost got one of the cheaper ones at Kirkland, but resisted as I really didn't need to spend the money today. I need to save up for the Berry Festival in Woodland this weekend and I bought too much stuff in Fort Bragg this weekend. We did go to Fenton's and shared a cone of black cherry and loved every bite the last time we were at the Nut Tree. It's hard to resist a cone from Fenton's when you stop at the Nut Tree. They are located to the right of the big Nut Tree sign and next to the bathrooms that are on the Left. We walk by it all the time as we go to the bathroom for our potty stop. Just thinking about it I'm drooling. We also stopped buy Old Navy. They always have tons of cute tees for $10, which is a good deal in my book for new shits. They had a ton for cute skirts and dresses, but they weren't a style I'd wear so we walked out empty handed. That was our stop in the Nut Tree this time. It's always a solid rest break and potty stop on our way.
