Vacaville Premium Outlets is one of those places we had driven past for years on trips north and back without ever stopping, even though we had heard plenty about it. We finally decided to make a dedicated shopping trip out of it, and I was honestly surprised by how large the outlet center is. There are well over a hundred stores, ranging from designer brands to more everyday retailers, so it's easy to spend an entire day there if you're not careful. We quickly realized it was best to focus on a handful of stores rather than trying to see everything. We ended up visiting places like Clarks, Adidas, Levi's, Banana Republic, and Gap. Every store we walked into had impressive sales for selected items or for everything in the store. Some of the prices were the best I had seen in a while. I walked away with two pairs of shoes and a pair of pants, though still nowhere near as much as my significant other bought! Overall, it turned into a fun and relaxing day. One helpful tip: it's an open-air outlet mall, so visiting on a nice day definitely makes the experience more enjoyable. read more

This is a large shopping center. It was large enough that it was pretty difficult to explore the whole center. I ended up skipping around focusing on the stores which really interested me. After I got tired, I realized I hadn't even covered half the center. Well, if you enjoy shopping, plan on a long day and you might wanna make a list of the stores that are of high interest. I don't think it's at all possible to visit every store in the center in one day. Overall, I like this outlet center a lot. It took a bit more travel time to get here, but certain stores are pretty unique. I inadvertently ended up at the far corner of the center, which sure made parking really easy. read more

My husband wanted shoes for Christmas so we decided we would wait until after the holiday rush to see what the Vacaville Outlets had to offer! We came on Saturday around 10am when they opened and it was pretty empty which was great. They have Abercrombie & Fitch, Adidas, Bath & Body Works, Coach and even Kate Spade to name just a few! We visited most of the shoe stores and even some places that I normally wouldn't visit due to pricing like Michael Kors. The outlets don't really offer much in the way of food options, but what they do have is usually in food truck form which I guess is convenient if you're walking around. My family and I found lots of deals which was nice! We walked away with a lot of items without feeling like we totally broke the bank. There were a few stores that we didn't get to, but I definitely plan on coming back soon! read more

This is one of the busiest outlets around. It is a pretty good size and I am sure it will stay here. A lot of other outlets seem to be closing, but this one gets a lot of traffic and activity so it will be here for a while. read more

Lots of good stores in the outlets; adjacent to I-80 and Tesla Supercharger. They have Coach and Michael Kors etc. Parking was super easy to find and there are other outlet stores across the street. Would be back soon. read more

We love the Columbia Outlet Store in Vacaville. We have been going there for years! I would like to shout out to another staff member we love - HEATHER!! She always greets us by name whenever we enter, she is very knowledgeable, very friendly and knows her stuff/merchandise. In fact, last time she was wearing a top that she talked me into buying! Quality/Quantity - When I was a kid, this place was the PLACE! A treat coming to shop here. Livermore Premium Outlet is my current Bay Area favorite outlet shopping place. 120+ businesses. But I only visit a few of the businesses here - Merrell & Tommy Bahma. I don't even visit the Tumi here any more. My family still seems to be able to spend hours, if not the whole day here... Atmosphere - Easy in and out right off of HWY 80. Open 7 days a week from 10am or 11am to 7pm or 8pm. Plenty of parking. Service - Overall good. Depends on the business and the mood of the employee that day, lol. Price - Good. I've noticed recently that it's been less busy here during the weekends and when you come to the outlets what do you immediately think of? For me it's great deals at a lower cost. Wrong, I realized that you can find better deals online and access to more selection in the convenience of being at home rather than driving out here to snag a deal digging through the racks and piles of products that are "on sale" in stores. Here's a tip because I learned a lesson myself last night, look up the same product you're looking to buy - online first! It might be discounted and you wouldn't have known if you don't do the research. I purchased a top from A&F and it was $30 cheaper online for the same one with a variety of colors to choose from! Large selection of stores! Great value sales. I appreciated that it doesn't have a mall feel, each individual store doesn't feel congested with people. Stopped by the outlets for the first time recently and was surprised to see the huge selection of stores. Parking was very easy, there is plenty of parking available and we were able to park close to the stores we were wanting to shop at. There were a ton of great sales. It was very lively for a Thursday night. I was not able to shop at many stores as I made the drive after my 9-5 but I definitely recommend taking your next shopping spree trip to the Vacaville Outlets. Vacaville Premium Outlets is a retail shopping center located right off of I-80 with a multitude of name brand stores to shop from. If you're someone who's into buying name brand stuff, then this is the perfect location for you. Just be prepared for your wallet to cry if you do a shopping spree here, because stuff here is not cheap. But hey, it's okay to splurge once in a while! Whenever I'm here, I usually target the shoe stores such as Nike, Vans, and Crocs, but sometimes I check out the clothing stores. Honestly there are so many stores to choose from that shopping here can be an all day expedition. Although there there is a huge lot, parking can be hard to find especially during weekends when everyone is out. Just something to be aware of. Overall, a decent shopping area, just be prepared to encounter tricky parking and a lot of spending. read more

Visited this place in January of this year and I was surprised by the amount of deals they had. You will find all kinds of stores like Coach, Gap, etc. And each store had good amount of inventory and deals. They don't have a food court but there are a few food trucks that serve the area. Parking lot is huge but it gets full during rush hour so plan accordingly. Overall a good place to shop and spend a day. read more

What a great outlet mall! So many stores with so many deals! A word to the wise, this mall is very large so I'd recommend using the mall map and driving to the stores you'd like to shop at. A pretty good area to shop at. Lots of big name stores are over here & have some good deals when shopping at the stores located here. There's two sides of the outlet where the road divided them, it's a short walk to the other side & thankful there is a cross walk area to ensure your safely while crossing the road. Parking can a bit complicated on the weekend as there would be in influx of people would shop here. They have a few snack places & food trucks around the outlet plaza, so if you want a meal you would need to search outside of the outlet plaza. read more

Finally had the opportunity over the weekend to make it to these outlets. They are divided into sections one side is the west side and one side is the east side. Chose a perfect day to visit as about 90% of the locations here participated in an early black Friday sales which consist of either everything in a store 40% off or everything in a store 50% off, which made for some great shopping experiences at stores that you don't get to visit as often as you would in your surrounding area. I was able to get some great deals on some shoes. Store that I was for particularly that I did not see, was the Victoria's Secret outlet. But other than that we had a good shopping experience all stores are more of an exterior experience versus walking inside of a area and all the doors inside. Meaning that you can pull up to a storefront and walk in versus parking in the parking lot and walk into the interior of a location. Kind of like a hotel versus the motel set up. Got a little more into the evening hours. We did notice a few pop up options for trucks as far as two dessert trucks and a taco truck for your food experiences we chose to go across the street to the taco bar, which was good. I just wanted to come on here and speak on the assistant manager. Although I can't remember his name, he was very attentive. He was kind and helpful. I stopped in to pick up an online purchase. Asked him if I could try on the item while I was there and it didn't fit. He asked if he could look on the computer for a different size and they were currently out of stock. Anyway I ended up getting my account credited. I was a bit snippy because he wasn't able to give me a specific date that I would see a credit on my account or a time that I would be receiving an email. However he was extremely pleasant and helpful. Willing to make every effort to make sure that I was sure my account would get credited. I appreciate his willingness to help and the fact that the district manager stepped in to assist us because I didn't seem at ease was also considerate. read more

The best time to do some damage to your bank account is during the week or on a rainy day during the weekend where you will have no stress parking and easy maneuvering in the stores. I passed by here twice on my way back and forth to Elk Grove on a rainy Saturday. On my first stop, I picked up some Carmel apples from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory which we have been going to for years. The product is consistent and delicious. The contrast of the tart granny Smith apple along with plain caramel is delicious. I don't like all the stuff in the apple. Next was a stop at Asics in the hunt for some court shoes. Great sale at buy one, get the second for 70% off but sizing and colors for me were limited which meant walking out empty handed. On my return trip, I went into Nike on the hunt again for court shoes. Nope. The check out line was very long. Last attempt was over at Puma and nothing either. Looking forward to coming back with hubby because he is a Skechers guy. Nice place to spend some money on your way up to the mountains and back to the Bay. read more

This is a very busy outlet mall in many years ago. But they're outdated with the older design with the huge parking lot in the middle and the stores are surrounding the parking lot. I have to walk double the distances for the same amount of the stores I wanted to visit. A lot of good famous brands have been moved out of this outlet in the last few years. This is making the Vacaville Premium Outlets less attractive than some of the other outlet malls too. They have closed the less successful food court recently and bring in a few food trucks as substitutes for the food court. It doesn't have a comfortable area for you to enjoy your food or relax anymore. Unfortunately! Most of the changes they have done in the recent years are making the outlets getting worse! read more

I love a bargain and hate to pay full retail prices. Plus I don't really enjoy shopping. But I do need to replenish my wardrobe every once in awhile. So for those reasons I enjoy going to Vacaville outlets. I get to visit a bunch of stores all at once with bargains galore... marked down prices. They got tons of stops: clothes, shoes, athletic gear, handbags, houseware. Checkout the website for the current directory. Shops include North Face, Columbia, Banana Republic, JCrew, New Balance, ASICS, Cole Haan, Loft, Ann Taylor, Izod, Nike, Adidas, Clark's, Van Heusen, Coach, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Express, Gap, Baas, Eddie Bauer, Bath and Body, Calvin Klein, Max, etc. The outlets are batched in two plazas separated by a street. The shops face the parking lot. The food court (which is located on the east plaza) only has 3 vendors which TBell is one. It's pretty small. But it is indoors with air conditioning. Great on hot summer days. Recently on the weekends, I noticed that they had a few food trucks scattered about selling Filipino food, shaved ice, tacos, and waffles. Plus they have a Starbucks kiosk with outdoor seating. But don't fret, food choices galore in Vacaville. Vacaville offers tons of food choices in various price points in driving distance a few minutes away. read more

These outlets have a great variety of stores. They have a couple areas for the kids to play at. Layout could be a little bit better as it is hard to find the restrooms and strollers. On the plus side, they have some food vendors in addition to a small food court area. It's also right across the street from the nut tree which has most food options and areas for kids. read more

I do like to come here when in the area. I just don't come there often because I'm not in the area. The last time I came through here was in 2003. I've been three times in the last two years. They have some decent shops. And I do like to window shop. But, many of the shops don't appeal to me. But I like to visit my favorite places and look around. I'd probably come by more, but these are not my type of outlets. I used to love the outlets in San Francisco, the old school ones, in funky places. These outlets aren't very special to me. They have a very corporate feel and the clothing there is made specifically for the outlets. But, it's a nice day out when I go. I also have to say that I like these outlets better than Napa or Petaluma outlets. They're bigger and have more stores that I like (to me). So, if in the area, please go by and enjoy yourself. read more

I don't really care about the stores but this whole shopping center is really poorly designed. The parking lot drive lanes are a mish mash maze. Came her at the end of January so my kids could return some Xmas gifts. Getting in & out is a pain. The ingress/egress points along nut tree Blvd are much to short. Traffic stacks up into the parking lot blocking drivers. I can't imagine coming here during Xmas. Must be an absolute S show. This is my first & last time here. Besides...anything purchased at these outlet stores can't be returned at normal stores so coming here for returns is an absolute inconvenience. read more

Great outdoor place to shop! They have all the stores I love. Nike outlet, Kate Spade, & Couch, Levi, & Carter's store is my favorite. Best time to go is weekday morning right when stores open. You can beat the crowd and find parking easily. Weekends are so hard when it gets crowded. Store deals are great, ranging from 30-70% off. Huge! This shopping outlet is located right off the intersection of I-80 and Nut Tree Road. It takes me 50 minutes to get here from Roseville. I used to come here more often when I enjoyed shopping for "me". My favorite places to shop were Banana Republic, GAP, Burberry (my favorite designer), and (back then) a store called Mikasa for house stuff. This huge outdoor outlet store has two sections (separated by Nut Tree Road) and while it's fun checking out the deals and markdowns in each store, the place is huge and walking from lot to lot can be tiresome. There is a crosswalk involved (name is Factory Stores) if going from one end of the plaza to the other. Lots of cars in and out of the parking area so exercise caution. I enjoy shopping here more than I do at the Folsom Outlets. When we have family members from Asia come visit California this is one the places they want to spend their whole day... here at the Outlets and Costco. LoL! There are many awesome deals to be found here especially during the holidays. Great brand names. The food court isn't much, though... from all the walking people do they should add more food places here. Maybe that's where the Nut Tree Plaza comes in. I liked the set up for Cyber Monday week during COVID-19. We decided to go shopping in the outlets before the stay at home order took place and was surprised to see that it wasn't too bad. There was some long lines for places like Kate Spade, Adidas, and North Face, but thankfully some places were doing wait lists where you just come back to the store once you're time on the wait list comes. Also, it wasn't crazy busy in the stores since they have a compacity limit of only a few people allowed in the stores at a time. The hubs and I were on the hunt for some snowboarding gear for this weekend's festivities. Instead of driving around wasting gas, we decided to look up the store directory and start calling stores to see if they were offering anything we were looking for. Note, Burton pops up on Yelp but that store is now closed - it's actually Fossil now. The few stores that we called were nice on the phone and provided great customer service. There's a ton of stores at this outlet center. Parking was perfect, maybe because it was during the week but there was no crowd which was great in my book. read more

Located 45 miles east of San Francisco and 20 miles west of Sacramento. Claim savings of 25% to 65% all year round. Local Shop & Stay packages are available if you check in with Yelp you'll receive a passport with additional savings on selective items. Apparently, "outlets" are misnomer for usual retail we tried at just 3 of the stores. We were there to specifically find one thing, while looking at the item-checked prices on the web in all instances same or lower prices in our area and on-line. We didn't purchase one thing! On the plus side: spacious parking (if you can find a spot) - Busy shoppers all around. Many good brand name such as Nike, Gucci , DKNY, Adidas & Starbucks. I think the internet has killed places like this. But for those who still enjoy trying to seek out the best deal in person, this place is a good start. Feels like these outlets used to be a bigger deal. Parking seems to be difficult only around the winter holiday season. Most other times, it seems fairly empty. As for food, I can see why no one is trying to lease space around here- it's just not as busy as it once was. Maybe people still cruise this place, going from shop to shop. For me, it's advantageous to know what is there and where the shops are. That way I can show up, go to that one store, then blow that joint. Then again, I think that covers most (if not all) outlet shopping for me. read more
