I don't recall taking the train ride, but for only $5 it's a must do for kiddos these days. Cheaper than a trip to Disneyland. What I really recall is the giant gingerbread people they used to have in their bakery. My parents would never get me one, but every time I saw them the drool was on. They also had quick breads like zucchini bread and the such. I'm a sucker for zucchini breads and other quick breads. I went a few years back ready to get my ginger bread man and some quick bread and to my dismay they don't have any of that anymore. Being an adult now I was so ready to buy all those things my parents wouldn't buy me. Being an adult has those perks. Now the Nut Tree is a place made up of restaurants and some key stone stores such as Ultra and Old Navy. If you hunt around you can find Sees. I really wanted to go to Sees today, but we ran out of time to make the trek over there. We did have time to explore Kirkland. I've never been to a Kirkland before and it turned out to be a real fun store. They had a great deal on diffusers. 1/5 the price of the ones I saw in Fort Bragg. I found one that I LOVED the scent to in Fort Bragg, but couldn't rationalize spending the money on it. I almost got one of the cheaper ones at Kirkland, but resisted as I really didn't need to spend the money today. I need to save up for the Berry Festival in Woodland this weekend and I bought too much stuff in Fort Bragg this weekend. We did go to Fenton's and shared a cone of black cherry and loved every bite the last time we were at the Nut Tree. It's hard to resist a cone from Fenton's when you stop at the Nut Tree. They are located to the right of the big Nut Tree sign and next to the bathrooms that are on the Left. We walk by it all the time as we go to the bathroom for our potty stop. Just thinking about it I'm drooling. We also stopped buy Old Navy. They always have tons of cute tees for $10, which is a good deal in my book for new shits. They had a ton for cute skirts and dresses, but they weren't a style I'd wear so we walked out empty handed. That was our stop in the Nut Tree this time. It's always a solid rest break and potty stop on our way.

She personified classic Nordstrom values and customer service. She was kind, bubbly, and courteous. I'm sure she probably wakes up that way every day and uses her spirit to achieve and anything she does, but on this day, she represented Nordstrom and the white club experience. I grew up knowing. She explained to me I don't buy item what was the final sale and how all of the policies worked. She was warm and empathetic from beginning to end. What a profile and professional excellence. Thank you, Nordstrom for restoring my faith and great service.

My sister has been looking for a pair of Hokas on sale and this was the second Rack location she tried. Unfortunately no luck here, but I tagged along and tried on some shoes. They have a very large selection of good designer shoes...the largest choice of Sam Edelman shoes I've seen in ages. The discounts are good, not great. I ended up choosing a pair of EVA Arizona Birkenstock sandals. At $54.95 they are $5 more than buying on Birkenstock direct website, so no savings especially as free membership allows you free shipping. However, I wasn't sure of my size for this brand so it was helpful to try several pairs out in person. The salespeople here were low key and helpful if asked for assistance. The store was large, cool, well lit and had a large selection. The store was larger than the ones I have gone to in Sacramento. I briefly looked at personal care items and they had a nice selection. Otherwise, we didn't have time to look at much else as we wanted to head home and beat the traffic. I am taking one star away for no discount on the shoes and the fact they when I got home I realized the security tag hadn't been removed at checkout . Fortunately my Dad had a bolt cutter and he took it off for me.

This...is...one...of...those...days. I can't wait for the age when you get a Roz to help you like the one from Wild Robot, replacing people who hate their jobs/life. I came here looking for a little bag for my upcoming wedding, I was disappointed by the lack of help especially since I approached one of the staff asking if they had a certain bag on hand. No hello, no acknowledgement just a lackluster expression plastered on their face, hating their lives...Taelyr. While they reached out to whoever was working in the back for inventory, there was no follow up if they had a spare or not. I kept looking around the store seeing if there's another alternative and decided on something else that may fit my needs. No one came to help, the same girl I had approached earlier seemed like she had better things to do so I found another alternative bag and decided to pay. I left the store, re-examined the bag that she gave me that wasn't even the original one I chose, saw some gray and makeup marks and went back to the store fuming. "I want another bag, this one has marks,"I stated. She grabbed a wet cloth and quickly cleaned it in front of me, "I just cleaned it, do you still want a new bag?" I held the wet bag, glared at her and gave it back, "there's make up here too." I pointed out the bits of makeup smeared on the other side of the bag. "I want another bag." I repeated She called someone in the back who did a quick exchange and because they don't seem to care for quality, I decided to inspect the new bag that was just given to me. What I learned from this place : 1. Be careful of the slight of hand they did with switching items you choose to some other random bag. 2 . Mental note: I won't come back to this store, they lack integrity and think their customers have single digit IQs. 3. And that lovely QR code that comes with the receipt...scan it, let them know how you really feel.

The only issue was that the tags had come off while trying the items on (I placed them in the pockets so they would not be lost). The associate at the register (Devin) refused to process my return because the tags were not attached, even though I had both the items, the tags, and the receipt from the exact store. She also suggested the items might have come from another store, which was insulting and inaccurate. I even remembered the manager who assisted me the night of my purchase, as it was only the evening before. I understand Burlington's return policy requires tags to be attached, but in this case, the tags were still present and the purchase was clearly verified with the receipt. I feel this situation could have been handled with more flexibility and certainly more courtesy. I would appreciate clarification on whether Burlington can accommodate returns where the tags are present but not physically attached, and I also wish to share my concern about the customer service I received at this location. Honestly, I will never shop there again.

Kudos to the tall guy that did that before leaving the store for the day. This store was pretty trashed on a busy Saturday. The clothes here are not very good. They are picked over and seemingly not of the highest quality but the home stuff , luggage, and accessories were pretty good. Shoes are hit & miss. There was a long check out line that you entered in a department and had no sight of the front. Understaffing is definitely an issue here. Despite the huge line there was one and then two cashiers but the supervisor was making price tags and cleaning up. My cashier was friendly. Don't buy too much, only what you can carry. Loss prevention allows no carts outside. All in all even with the long wait and having to pick through loads of merchandise they had what I wanted so I give it an ok. I would come back at a slower time next time and bring help to carry out my items
