I have been coming to Burlington Coat Factory in Vacaville for over 15 years. As an individual like myself who doesn't wear small sizes, it can be challenging sometimes to find something thay not only fits us but makes us look fashionably well at the same time. At Burlington, they have something for everyone no matter your size. They offer top name brands at very affordable prices. I do wish they had more of a sports variety when it comes to teams. Just found it interesting that there were more Chicago Bulls gear then Golden State Warriors and mind you I live in Northern California. If that's the case, I'd like to see more New York Knicks gear since that's my team lol. I kid lf course. But I always find something to take home whenever I shop there. read more

Burlington - Department Stores Near Me - Vacaville, California

Went this afternoon to just look. Ended up getting a few shirts and flip flops and a planner. My husband got a fit complete with shoes. His only complaint is that they most carry Bulls attire lol. My only complaint would be that they never have my size in pants! read more

I recently purchased two items and attempted to return them the very next day with my original receipt. The only issue was that the tags had come off while trying the items on (I placed them in the pockets so they would not be lost). The associate at the register (Devin) refused to process my return because the tags were not attached, even though I had both the items, the tags, and the receipt from the exact store. She also suggested the items might have come from another store, which was insulting and inaccurate. I even remembered the manager who assisted me the night of my purchase, as it was only the evening before. I understand Burlington's return policy requires tags to be attached, but in this case, the tags were still present and the purchase was clearly verified with the receipt. I feel this situation could have been handled with more flexibility and certainly more courtesy. I would appreciate clarification on whether Burlington can accommodate returns where the tags are present but not physically attached, and I also wish to share my concern about the customer service I received at this location. Honestly, I will never shop there again. read more

Burlington - The name of the rude girl who rang me up. - Department Stores Near Me - Vacaville, California

Busy on the weekend which is to be expected. The biggest pro is that this is the FIRST Burlington where I have seen someone organizing & straightening the store plus setting up endcaps etc during a shift. Kudos to the tall guy that did that before leaving the store for the day. This store was pretty trashed on a busy Saturday. The clothes here are not very good. They are picked over and seemingly not of the highest quality but the home stuff , luggage, and accessories were pretty good. Shoes are hit & miss. There was a long check out line that you entered in a department and had no sight of the front. Understaffing is definitely an issue here. Despite the huge line there was one and then two cashiers but the supervisor was making price tags and cleaning up. My cashier was friendly. Don't buy too much, only what you can carry. Loss prevention allows no carts outside. All in all even with the long wait and having to pick through loads of merchandise they had what I wanted so I give it an ok. I would come back at a slower time next time and bring help to carry out my items read more

I am so done with them! I have spent a lot of money over the years at Burlington buying clothing. I never felt unwelcome until today. I walked in, and they had a holding pen for customers to wait for entrance. Not like "oh, we are so expensive" but more like you are all scum and we are checking you out to see if we are going to let you in. Look at the camera so we can get a GOOOOOODDDDD look at you. Then we let you in. I stood there dumbfounded. I have NEVER in my life walked into a store, been held to wait for entrance and then my image JUST taken. (not that some stores don't have camera's but I was stopped purposefully so they could get a shot of me.) I felt like I was being treated as a criminal. I turned and walked right out. I will NOT be treated like that by anyone especially a store where I intended to shop for a new wardrobe. Burlington you will never get a dime from me again. I do not give a fuck if you get robbed daily. You do not treat paying customers like they are criminals. There is such a thing as customer service; you all need to be looking into that. Done. Never a dime again. read more

I am an average size man. At 5'11", husky build, I wear a size XL. I was searching for a white dress shirt or two to wear with suits. At this particular Burlington Coat Factory in Vacaville today at 12 noon, I found exactly four XL white dress shirts, all SLIM-FIT. And two XXL white dress shirts, SLIM-FIT. Even worse, upon browsing mens COATS at Burlington Coat FACTORY, size XL or XXL, I counted seven coats. That's right, seven coats XL or greater at Burlington Coat FACTORY. The building that houses this COAT FACTORY which is probably about 25,000-35,000sq feet had 7 men's coats size XL or larger. Absolutely pathetic. That's like going to an ice cream shop and choosing from between only 7 cups of ice cream in stock for the entire ice cream store for the entire day. Walmart has more men's coats then Burlington Coat Factory. What a waste of time. The first and last time I will step into Burlington Coats at Vacaville location. The Burlington Factory's in the Seattle Metro area were STACKED with coats as far as the eye could see. I know California is warmer, but SEVEN COATS???! That's it?? And 6 white dress shirts XL or greater?!! ALL SLIM-FIT?!!! Where the heck are all these slim people??! I don't know any grown man over the age of 21 that fits a slim!!! NONE. Utterly ridiculous. read more

Well I initially interviewed here for a job yet I didn't get it. The store tends to get a lot of phone calls to the police for theft. There's security right where you walk in through the door which is good I think. There should be more cameras especially since theft is common at this location. The selection is decent, you really have to spend time to find what you're looking for. The value of the items seem cheap comparing to other shopping stores which seem to be more expensive. read more

I really love Burlington!! I can always find what I need at great prices. This can be anything from clothing, household goods dishes, shoes, and gifts- I can find it all at Burlington. This Burlington has friendly employees. But, that's the only nice thing I can say about this location. This is the most junkiest and messiest Burlington location I have ever shopped. Also, they never have enough cashiers here. Even so during the most recent holiday season that just passed they didn't have enough cashiers. I love a great deal. But, I am not willing to dig around on the floor and anywhere else just to find a great buy. It'll be a very long time before I shop at this Burlington again. read more

The store in Vacaville California has an area sectioned off when you enter so you can not walk straight into the store. The associate tells you they are talking a picture of you without waiting for permission or allowing for questions- like how are you using my image in a way a regular security camera can not capture? The shopping experience felt like an airline security checkpoint. Bad call by management, ruins shopping experience. read more

The first time I went to a Burlington Coat Factory I was in college. I went with my friends Melissa and Elena and they were raving about it and I didn't know why. But I learned. I didn't buy anything, already had my coats, but I enjoyed being there with them. But after graduation, I moved home and there wasn't one near me, so I didn't go to one. So when the renamed Burlington opened up near me, I was excited. But once I entered, I was like, eh - it's OK. I was hoping this one would be better since it was out in the burb-burbs. But no, that wasn't the case. It was OK, quite small and looked like every other Ross, Marshalls, DD's etc. The main difference is that they didn't have crap all over the floors, like some of these stores can have. This is why they have three stars instead of two. I'd come here to get out of the rain, take a phone call while walking around, but shopping? No. read more

Burlington - Christmas already... - Department Stores Near Me - Vacaville, California

Store is dark, unable to shop. Also the store is COLD. My shopping experience was not good. I guess they are trying to save costs by having no heat and very little light. There aren't enough cashiers so the lines are long. read more

Slim pickings that's fsure. I walked in and the selection was bare to the bone. The entire back corner was empty, like - are you guys closing down or what? Luckily I was able to find a Jessica Simpson jacket with an original price of $110 and out the door I paid $44.99. Not bad. Angelica was great, she was able to accommodate a price match with the jacket because there was an identical black jacket that was priced $44.99 but the green one I purchased wasn't marked down. She was able to price match so that I was able to purchase the color I wanted! Overall, Burlington came through with a jacket at a good price, but for being known for coats, the selection was slim. read more

I love going to Burlington, But I will never do it again n the Holidays. It's insane to have two cashiers when you have over a hundred people n line.. they got it zigzagged and all down the aisles... 40 minutes in line is outrageous... and for me very difficult and painful.. and I was more n the middle then the back.. I watched people put their stuff done and leave, I wish I had.. read more

This used to be a place where you can score some pretty good finds for a very low price. However I noticed that ever since this store has done their remodel, the quality of the clothing has definitely gone downhill. Now a percentage of that may be due to the fact that covid has slowed down a lot of the movement of consumer goods and so a lot of the clothing that they get is just not coming in as fast as they used to get them. However I do notice that the general crowd that shops at the store has also gone downhill as well. Every time I come here now it's like a madhouse. It was like a ton of people here and they bring about four or five children per family and it's definitely not comfortable to shop in here especially when you don't know whether or not other people have been vaccinated. Therefore I may not be coming back here for a while. You can still find maybe one or two okay finds here, especially for home goods and toys, but the price is definitely gone up a few dollars and it adds up the more stuff you get. read more

Packed this time of year. It's usually messy in here since the customers just don't care and drop stuff on the floor. Clothes selection is ok. Staff is great and friendly and they give you fast service as much as possible. read more

Waiting lines are looong.....2 cashiers.....and isles a a hot mess!! I can't believe that managers would even allow this. Shame on you!

do not shop here if you have a small bladder or a little time on your hands, they never have enough people working here and now their bathrooms are locked, so I left a whole cart of merchandise behind because there was absolutely no way that I was going to have to hold my potty and stand in the long long line headed to Kohl's where they have open bathrooms tired of suffering for those who steal do better, Burlington higher more security and do better for your paying customers or you won't have any anymore. read more

Gave one star because that's the lowest you can give. Went into return some thing that I just changed my mind about. Come to find out when you return something here there is only one line. Meaning the same line that wraps around the entire store for people to purchase. Things is the same line you have to get into return things. This is the most stupidest thing I have ever seen. read more

This Burlington location is just okay. I feel like it doesn't have as great of an inventory as other location but it will still have your basics. Their home decor here is pretty cute. I actually found a lot of decor here that I used for my sister's bridal shower (Kate Spade Theme). I came here with my mom over the weekend and we were buying some baby goods for my baby cousin. I was shocked to see that they have strollers, cribs and everything! Some even had really pretty designs! Now I know where to go when I have a baby LOL JK! read more

Awwww this place..... Every time I come here I remember why I don't want to come here lol... So every time I come here I'm slightly disappointed. 1) they don't have a huge selection.(everything they have they only have a couple of items, if anything the place looks empty ) 2) they are very unorganized. (cloths are not in order from sizes, they are all over the place, the layout of the store is all over the place) read more

Ok Vacaville location, your spot is so clean and neat, but the prices and selection just don't compare to the Pittsburgh location. I wondered round for almost an hour and had to fight to find 2 things to buy...... and the prices weren't so great. Came here with my friends, and it was the first time I was in a Burlington Coat Factory. I've always seen their commercials but never been into one. I like the huge selection of different items you can get here. So my friends were looking at the women's shoe selection, but sadly there wasn't a huge selection but a decent amount. The other thing is, it was kind of hard to figure out the prices for the shoes. The shoes range from $20-$40. It was pretty decent for the brands they offered, although I did wish they were neater and more organized. My roommate asked the cashier what the return policy was, and the cashier had to go ask her manager. I guess she was new, but shouldn't she expect that from customers? its a pretty general question. read more

Buyer beware! if I could give less than one I would. Bought a coat for a Christmas gift in December wanted to exchange for a larger one paid $60 for it had receipt. First of all staff was very rude second they told me they would give me a store credit I said fine my mom will go get another coat then they were only going to give me $21 because the item had been marked down since I purchased it. Called corporate office in New Jersey they basically told me go to Hell That is their policy. Needless to say our family will never shop there again. Besides that has gotten very trashy. And when I called customer service they were equally as rude it says right on the back of the receipt with receipt you will be given store credit without receipt you will be given the cheaper price which would've been fine basically their customer service told me to go to hell read more

All around good cheap place to shop.. staff is always nice and very helpful when looking for things.. keep in mind you have to hunt for clothes.. so expect to be in the store for quite some time. Depending on when you go they have a good selection.. my first visit to Burlington I found tons of clothes in the men's department but this last time I went not a whole lot. But all around it's a nice store with good finds for cheap especially for decorating the house. read more

Be careful what you purchase. If you want to return an item you get to stand in the two hour line with one checker!

Great prices and a ok selection. Good parking and loved how the store is organized. The service was nonexistent and in the past when I have been here I did ask for help locating something and the deer in the headlights look was less than fun. Expect minimum wage type of help here. read more

You disappointed me, Ms. Coat Factory. I came in expecting jacket wonderland, but no. It's pretty much like a cleaner Marshalls/TJ Maxx/Ross/etc. But doesn't have as good of a selection. Oh my! I came here thinking that I was going to run in and find a light weight dress jacket. To my surprise and disappointment they had a large variety of the same kind of jacket that I wasn't looking for. In more than 3 different colors. I must have come in on an off day because a number of my friends say they have purchased coats from here. I just didn't see any jackets that appealed to me. With that being said, they had a lot of other items in the store that I took advantage of and purchased. They had a large variety of linens and cute things for the bathroom. I didn't stop there. I strutted myself over to housewares. Bonus! I found some of my favorite kitchenware right here and for almost half the price. I also found small stocking stuffers which was pretty dog gone awesome. The employees seemed very busy. I felt kinda sorry for them. We just kept messing up their little organized stacks of products. Burlington, you have redeemed yourself with your large inventory of everything else. read more

This place has a good variety of merchandise. But the customer service is unprofessional and very hard to come by. The lines are always long with 1 cashier and the other customer service agents not trying to snap to get the customers assisted and out on their way. The worst part is the store is a terrible mess all of the time. Merchandise is all over the place jumbled and unfolded every time I visit. This store has more the appearance of a rummage sale than a department store affect; with prices too high for this kind of disarray. read more

While standing in line at the Vacaville store I noticed that I had taken off my shoulder purse and left it hanging in the coat area. I went back and searched around the area where I was trying on coats but was unable to find it. I eventually talked to the manager and he too searched. He also reviewed to stores camera and again searched the area and located my purse. I am very grateful for his efforts. He didn't give up. But kept searching until he located my purse. I will NEVER come back to this store. I was standing in an area that I thought was the line...sure, my mistake, it wasn't the line. BUT...the employee that literally made eye contact with me 4 times while I was standing there could have said "hey, the line is back there" and I would've appreciated that. No, I had to go back to the back of the line because yeah I made a little mistake. But, that employee was literally sitting there flirting with his other coworker. Has been one of my all time go to stores if ever needing a quick outfit but the cashiers there are completely awful . Very great selections for very low prices are always a steal when you have children. I found tons of stuff! They have a wide variety of things to choose from. It'll take you some time but I guarantee you it's worth all the searching! Only thing bad was the non work related conversations going on. It was a bunch of young women on duty at the front and They were discussing the types of men they liked and how they referred Latino men as spicy and I didn't catch the rest of the conversation. But the way i was trained in the work field is that customers should be your priority. Personal conversations can be conducted on lunch or break times. A lot has changed since the last reviews. I went in there and it had tons of winter jackets, in time for skiing. I also looked at some limited selection for dog beds. Too expensive but found a cheaper, better one at Ross. While walking around, I found an identical jacket, that I bought at Macy's 5 years ago, hanging on the rack. I bought it for $350 and it was on sale for $99. I was embarrassed because I was wearing it. The problem is that they only have selected sizes so if you find a good looking jacket, you might not find it in your size. read more

This was one of the most nicest Burlington I've walked into I give them that, but man was I Being stalked by an employee (Levi the store manage). I had my fanypack open (I took my phone out to reply to a text) and this tall balled African man walked rudely by me and looked in my bag has if I took something? That is so disrespectful in my book. I then asked him, Why did you just walk so rudely and look in my bag? has if I was stealing something. Hes response ( You look suspicious!) I was shocked to his response. I will say this- i dress and look nice, I'm Mexican and a lesbian so I dress manly, with tattoos. He definitely was profiling me, discrimination is how I felt. I am 35 year Mexican women employed by Sacramento postal office (City carrier) reason I say this is because he had no reason to treat me the way he did. Shame on Levi the store manager.
