Christmas already...
Jacqueline F.

The first time I went to a Burlington Coat Factory I was in college. I went with my friends Melissa and Elena and they were raving about it and I didn't know why. But I learned. I didn't buy anything, already had my coats, but I enjoyed being there with them. But after graduation, I moved home and there wasn't one near me, so I didn't go to one. So when the renamed Burlington opened up near me, I was excited. But once I entered, I was like, eh - it's OK. I was hoping this one would be better since it was out in the burb-burbs. But no, that wasn't the case. It was OK, quite small and looked like every other Ross, Marshalls, DD's etc. The main difference is that they didn't have crap all over the floors, like some of these stores can have. This is why they have three stars instead of two. I'd come here to get out of the rain, take a phone call while walking around, but shopping? No.

Ok Vacaville location, your spot is so clean and neat, but the prices and selection just don't compare to the Pittsburgh location. I wondered round for almost an hour and had to fight to find 2 things to buy...... and the prices weren't so great. Remember, you are in an outlet area out here, we expected to get super deals.

Came here with my friends, and it was the first time I was in a Burlington Coat Factory. I've always seen their commercials but never been into one. I like the huge selection of different items you can get here. So my friends were looking at the women's shoe selection, but sadly there wasn't a huge selection but a decent amount. The other thing is, it was kind of hard to figure out the prices for the shoes. The shoes range from $20-$40. It was pretty decent for the brands they offered, although I did wish they were neater and more organized. My roommate asked the cashier what the return policy was, and the cashier had to go ask her manager. I guess she was new, but shouldn't she expect that from customers? its a pretty general question.

My sister has been looking for a pair of Hokas on sale and this was the second Rack location she tried. Unfortunately no luck here, but I tagged along and tried on some shoes. They have a very large selection of good designer shoes...the largest choice of Sam Edelman shoes I've seen in ages. The discounts are good, not great. I ended up choosing a pair of EVA Arizona Birkenstock sandals. At $54.95 they are $5 more than buying on Birkenstock direct website, so no savings especially as free membership allows you free shipping. However, I wasn't sure of my size for this brand so it was helpful to try several pairs out in person. The salespeople here were low key and helpful if asked for assistance. The store was large, cool, well lit and had a large selection. The store was larger than the ones I have gone to in Sacramento. I briefly looked at personal care items and they had a nice selection. Otherwise, we didn't have time to look at much else as we wanted to head home and beat the traffic. I am taking one star away for no discount on the shoes and the fact they when I got home I realized the security tag hadn't been removed at checkout . Fortunately my Dad had a bolt cutter and he took it off for me.

She personified classic Nordstrom values and customer service. She was kind, bubbly, and courteous. I'm sure she probably wakes up that way every day and uses her spirit to achieve and anything she does, but on this day, she represented Nordstrom and the white club experience. I grew up knowing. She explained to me I don't buy item what was the final sale and how all of the policies worked. She was warm and empathetic from beginning to end. What a profile and professional excellence. Thank you, Nordstrom for restoring my faith and great service.

I'd grabbed a drink from the cooler but when we got back to the car it had already been opened so I ended up having to toss it. Overall, a fairly middle of the road experience and I doubt we'll return.

I appreciate the free shipping on orders over $35 and the online order and in-store pickup options. But what I REALLY like is the Vacaville Target's selection of fresh, reasonably-priced raspberries, blackberries and (in summer) cherries, both the red and the Ranier varieties. They also have great prices on Fage yogurt and various dairy items as well as frozen fish (their frozen salmon and cod are great). I like their vitamins and supplements selections too. They're also good for a variety of one-off items: I recently picked up a water bottle sling there for hiking, and it's great - and the price was excellent. I shop here all the time. I find it a clean, well lit, well organized place to shop that has a lot of what I want to buy at great prices. I hope they stay in business because I like the Vacaville Target store a lot.

The first was a tall, thin, female near the check stand who was speaking with other staff. When she saw me approaching she smiled broadly and directed me to a cashier. My cashier much shorter with gray hair was super nice, friendly, and had a great sense of humor! Can't recall the last time checkout was so pleasant. Lol. The first time, an employee had the nerve to accuse me of stealing a TWO DOLLAR item -- something I had already PAID for. I literally had to show her the receipt to prove it, and when she realized she was wrong, she just stood there QUIET. No apology, no "my mistake," nothing. Just attitude after falsely accusing a paying customer. Absolutely ridiculous. And today? I'm here with my autistic daughter, who's crying and overwhelmed -- and the employee is LAUGHING. Another one is just standing there staring at us like we're a sideshow. Who TF laughs at a struggling toddler? Who does that? It's disgusting and it shows exactly what kind of people they hire here. I'm an honest person. I work hard for my money, I don't steal, and I sure as hell don't deserve to be treated like this -- and neither does my child. This place needs a complete reset: New staff, new training, new everything. Because the way customers are treated here is nasty, unprofessional, and honestly embarrassing for a business. I will NEVER be back. And I hope management wakes up, because this is the kind of behavior that drives customers away permanently.

I don't recall taking the train ride, but for only $5 it's a must do for kiddos these days. Cheaper than a trip to Disneyland. What I really recall is the giant gingerbread people they used to have in their bakery. My parents would never get me one, but every time I saw them the drool was on. They also had quick breads like zucchini bread and the such. I'm a sucker for zucchini breads and other quick breads. I went a few years back ready to get my ginger bread man and some quick bread and to my dismay they don't have any of that anymore. Being an adult now I was so ready to buy all those things my parents wouldn't buy me. Being an adult has those perks. Now the Nut Tree is a place made up of restaurants and some key stone stores such as Ultra and Old Navy. If you hunt around you can find Sees. I really wanted to go to Sees today, but we ran out of time to make the trek over there. We did have time to explore Kirkland. I've never been to a Kirkland before and it turned out to be a real fun store. They had a great deal on diffusers. 1/5 the price of the ones I saw in Fort Bragg. I found one that I LOVED the scent to in Fort Bragg, but couldn't rationalize spending the money on it. I almost got one of the cheaper ones at Kirkland, but resisted as I really didn't need to spend the money today. I need to save up for the Berry Festival in Woodland this weekend and I bought too much stuff in Fort Bragg this weekend. We did go to Fenton's and shared a cone of black cherry and loved every bite the last time we were at the Nut Tree. It's hard to resist a cone from Fenton's when you stop at the Nut Tree. They are located to the right of the big Nut Tree sign and next to the bathrooms that are on the Left. We walk by it all the time as we go to the bathroom for our potty stop. Just thinking about it I'm drooling. We also stopped buy Old Navy. They always have tons of cute tees for $10, which is a good deal in my book for new shits. They had a ton for cute skirts and dresses, but they weren't a style I'd wear so we walked out empty handed. That was our stop in the Nut Tree this time. It's always a solid rest break and potty stop on our way.
