Covid 19 procedures are in place at this outlet store, with salesclerks wearing masks as all customers are required to do also. There is a clerk at the door monitoring customer capacity and Denzelle, our cashier politely asked us to wait while he sanitized the counter prior to checking us out. He was very professional, courteous and also let us know about the Vans Family program which we signed up for after purchasing four pairs of shoes for our granddaughters. This store is at an outside outlet store. The place is medium size inside. The lights were very dim so it was hard to see inside. There were some stuff out for f stock but we went on a holiday weekend so there was a lot of sales. There was a lot of people inside so it was a little cramped. Example, I'm looking at a pair of shoes, took them out of the box, the employee snatches the box, moves it over before I could put the shoes back in the box, instead of asking "are you finding everything alright?" Or "can I help you find anything specific?" Came here to replace my 3year olds favorite pair of slip ons. His size 10, was very small selection to choose from so we ended up getting 10.5. The price was nice for 2 pairs can't complain about that. I usually dont review clothing stores, but I have won so many times at this Vans outlet that they have earned a 5 star review from me. Recent wins have included 2 pairs of surf shoes for 15 bucks, 2 work pants for 5 bucks, and 2 pairs of jeans for 15 bucks-- All pretty good quality. Other yelp reviews have noted bad customer service, but I actually dont like employee interference when I am trying to do my shopping, so I have nothing to complain about. I went in not too long ago and was trying to find a specific pair of shoes for my son and went to the first person i saw when i walked in. i couldn't read his name tag clearly but i believe it said Jason. 1st, the man was on his phone when i approached him. We figured out the 1, wouldn't work the 1/2 they didn't have, I had 3 associates check for me all with the same result, not having his size. I had an associate, call another store and still no luck. We were on our way out when we went into the classics section and asked Keenan one last time to look for us, he came RIGHT out with both sizes! This is my 2nd Vans store visit really. I don't wear their shoes to the MTE came out. They have some that are waterproof or Gore-Tex. It's a supper comfy shoe. I love it. I went to look for a pair! A beautiful young lady with amazing hair helped me out. She asked my size. She found the last pair in my size and they were only 39$ they are over 100$ normally. It was my lucky day. I didn't have to wash my hands. I got a few shirts. They are a true XXL. Fit great. The whole experience was amazing. I was treated with respect and it was nice. read more

Hello, my name is Sara. I usually don't do this but I feel like I had to due to the HORRIBLE customer service at the Vans store at Vacaville Outlets. It was around 8:15 PM where I asked for my shoe size and waited for 15 minutes - with literally 10 customers and 6 employees at the store. No one came up to me and apologized that they can't find the shoe size even though the employee knew I was waiting for them. When my sister was done picking out three shirts we waited FIFTEEN minutes for them to check us out. There was a line forming that snaked around all patiently waiting. Only ONE cashier was insanely slow and kept making mistakes with the customers before us. I asked another employee if we can get another cashier ringing people up and without even looking at me she rudely replied "it is not up to me" and continued folding clothes without even trying to figure out the problem. I DON'T CARE if it is not up to you, it is their job to pick up their wakie takies and call their manager to figure this out. At the register the employee rang up my sisters items wrong, as he did with the previous customers. This needs to get fixed because this store is so close to losing customers. If no one gets back to me about this issue I will not stop contacting Vans until I get the proper customer service they promise. read more

While I love Van's, the service was some of the worst I have ever experienced. The employees were too busy talking to each other and when I asked for a size, the employee said ok and then didn't go look until I asked again. One employee grabbed a shoe I was looking for a size between my daughter and I and put it away, wow. I spoke to the person in charge and was told "there is no manager". Sad thing is, there were more employees than customers. From the previous reviews this appears to be an ongoing issue. read more

Unlike most outlet shoe stores the Van's store actually has a decent stock of shoes that are STILL IN STYLE! I love raiding their clearance rack. When my younger brother and I pop In we can spend a good 30 minutes (minimum) just walking around the tiny store. Not only do they sell shoes there, but they have all of the same Van's apparel that you find at any other retail store. i.e. Shirts, Shorts, Backpacks, Hats. Be warned because the store is fairly small and the racks they have are pretty packed, it can become a bit uncomfortable when trying to find your size and you have someone right behind or right next to you trying to do the same thing. My advice.. use your elbows and get in where you fit in! read more

But their popular styles are usually sold out in men's 10.5 and 11. So if you have small feet or huge feet, great for you. Prices are a lot cheaper than other locations too, Crepe retail's were $70, but outlet prices were $30, and a special going on, for buy 1 get one half off. Great deals. read more
