The Highs: Great store, friendly staff, deeply discounted prices, and most times, there's lots to choose from. The Lows: Occasionally, the selection is not as great as I would like but most times you can find some good deals. The In-Between: I've been coming here for a couple of years now. It's not far from my house so it's convenient. When I walk in, I usually get a warm welcome. I'm a discount shopper so I love when they have 50%+ off the already reduced clearance prices. I can get a $100 coat for $30 easily. They have black shopping bags for you to carry stuff while you shop but lots of times I could really use something bigger because the deals are ubiquitous. Really like it here and I love sneaking over in between errands to see what deeply discounted gems I can snatch up. Decided to stop by specifically this store to check things out on our way home. The store was busy but luckily there was no line for the dressing room. The few associates I've interacted with have been polite, friendly, and helpful. Among them, Millie stood out. She was as very knowledgeable of their products and provided valuable suggestions to what I was looking for. Do you know that they have a scanner that would find the size through the stack of jeans easily and quickly? I didn't! So I thought that was pretty cool! A plus... deals going on. I have a savings passport that showed $30 off your purchases when you spend $200 or more. The store manager Susan said she cannot honor the deal. She said it is for regular price only. I also asked the sale associate just to try the discount code provided in the system. She is not trying at all. However, there is no words or restrictions said that on the brochure. Actually, there is no regular price products you can find at all in outlet store. I am not recommended to shop in this store. This store is located at an outside outlets. There's parking outside. The store is very well organized and there is plenty of space to walk around it's not all cramped inside. There also was a lot of dressing rooms and someone was always there so it was easy and fast. We went on a holiday weekend and surprisingly everything was very well stocked. I had called a week ago looking for 517 or 527 bootcut. The person on the phone said they carried the slim bootcut. I finally got a chance to drive out there and the cashier had no idea what I was talking about. I spent about 30-40 minutes looking on my own but could not locate the style. I was also hoping that someone else that worked there would be able to help me. I could hear people talking to each other in the back stockroom but nobody ever came out to help or check on any customers. I hate pants. I hate wearing pants and I REALLY hate shopping for pants. Jeans are especially cumbersome in the summer months, specifically for men because let's face it guys, we all have to deal with our coin purse sticking to the side of our leg (sometimes both legs) and can't sneak in a quick sideways kick to peel it off because our PANTS are too tight. I've got thunder thighs also so that makes it even worse. This store doesn't make wearing pants any more enjoyable but they really know how to make shopping for pants suck way less. I was greeted by a kind fellow named Devon who was eager to please but not pushy at all. They had a sweet deal on a bunch of their jeans ($39 each when you buy two or more) so I grabbed two. yay for cheap jeans! Although I came in for jean leggings (which they didn't have any of ) I was able to score a pair of skinny jeans for $19.99! For some reason, Levi's jeans (at least in the outlet) has a weird sizing thing going on - some jeans have even sizing and some have odd. But even if you get two of the same size, they may fit totally different! So it's best to try on all the jeans before you buy. So my friend and I decided to pick a couple of pairs to try out since they were so cheap, but it was only after we had gotten all the same size that we found out about the different sizing for each pair deal. So the saleslady was nice enough to offer her assistance - especially in reaching the higher shelves & offering her suggestions. Sadly, only one pair really worked for us so we went to pay. After we were rung up and we started to walk out to the car - we noticed that we were rung up for $24.99 instead of $19.99 so we went back inside to check if there was a mistake. Unfortunately, we were one step too late and there was a small line at the cash register now. So we brought our receipt back to the saleslady who helped us to see if she could help us since the pile we got the jeans from was clearly under the $19.99 sign. But instead of help, all we got from her was 'tude! oh boy! complete transformation from before when she was all nice and friendly! So we waited our turn at the cash register and got it fixed and quickly left. If it weren't for the attitude from the employee at the end, i would've probably given this place 4 stars! read more

I came back to this location because it's much closer than Milpitas and they fall into a much lower tax bracket ;-) My friend ran into a little snafu with his jeans from Milpitas, they were too long! So I called the closer LO store and spoke with a nice young lady pleading our case. I explained that the jeans weren't washed but the tags were missing. She said it'll be just fine to bring them in for a refund or exchange and so we did. When we arrived we mentioned the name of the clerk that helped us on the phone so there wouldn't be any problems and lo and behold it was her! She remembered the whole conversation and set out on the floor to find the right size with my friend while I waited at the counter. They came back with the right size in the right color and the exchange began. Given that the jeans came from another store unfortunately they had to return the jeans as a store credit and with that my friend couldn't get the same price as before because the promo was over...BUMMER!! After everything was said and done, he ended up paying about $20 more to get the jeans he needed so I'd say he wasn't too bad off. Overall I was very impressed by how they cared and took good care of my friend regardless of the jeans not having their original tags on them. Worst customer service. Ever. I came in and tried on a pair of jeans. The fitting room attendants treated me like I didn't exist. I waited for about a whole minute with absolutely no acknowledgement even by the manager as he spoke to his associates. When they opened the fitting room door for me, all they did was say "Let me know if you need any help!" - still no "hello." The jeans didn't work, but when I was ready to return them, no one attended me!! After standing there with my jeans, all ready to give them back, no one acknowledged me or tried to suggest another pair. I just threw my jeans on their counter; I have better things to do than wait to be pampered. My experience doesn't end there, as I foolishly found a nice sweater! I picked it up, and finally, an associate told me that it was 50% off!! NOT! I waited in the nonexistent line for my turn to purchase the said sweater, but none of the cashiers appeared ready for me. They were chatting amongst themselves, and the manager even walked by! But nope, I just stood there until finally a sales associate was ready for me. That whole scene probably lasted a good minute, a lot of time considering how not-busy they were... The cashier told me the unfortunate news of it being full priced, despite the other sales associate's assurance, and the cashier managed to say her good byes to her fellow associate as that associate left the store. I mean sure, have a conversation with your fellow co-worker while I awkwardly stand there... I work retail (not for Levi's) and certainly know that this is not the way to treat customers. I was able to walk out with 3 pairs of jeans from here that were full price online! The store is really clean and well organized. The staff was extremely friendly and tried to be helpful when I couldn't find something in my size. The fitting rooms were clean and they didn't seem bothered that I tried on like 25 different jeans before I found the perfect 3. Inviting atmosphere and good music playing. Pants are good, but their deals are usually not amazing and it's really hard to find pants in my size (31x30) so if you've got weirdly sized body parts then you might want to go for the actual store rather than the outlet. I've been to this store at least four to five times already and I've had the BEST customer service help from Gretchen. She was the one who got me into the skinny jeans that every one is wearing nowadays. She's the one who measured me into the right size jean and told me I was a BOLD CURVE not a DEMI CURVE; which I've bought before but was never truly happy with how it fit me. But now, ever since I've gotten into the BOLD CURVES, my jeans have been fitting me so PERFECTLY! I've been wanting more Levis jeans because of the way they fit. So I went to the store today and picked four new jeans and Gretchen was there to help me again. She's the best! So now I've walked out with the new high rise SKIMMER jeans! What the?!!! These are even tighter than the skinny jeans! I even had to ask her if she tried these on and she said, "Yeah and I've got bigger thighs and hips than you and I can fit in them!" And so, I had to try them on and now I LOVE THEM! Damn you Gretchen, why do you always have to be right?! Lol! Ok, so for the price, I can't complain, their a little on the pricey side for an outlet store but they are VERY COMFORTABLE and they look GOOD on. What more do you want? They don't carry men's jeans that aren't made with "flex" which for those of you who haven't worked I retail, this means a Cotten spandex blend for comfort and ease of movement. Now denim that is 100% cotton will wear a certain way. Not much stretch but if you don't got bags and bulges to stretch it over its usually a great fit. When you blend spandex with cotton/denim the it stretches a lot more and loses its shape much faster. So your paying $55 for jeans that will sag after a few wears. Washing and drying is also very damaging to this fabric. Also the unhelpful chick who worked there said it's exactly the same...but it ain't cause one would be 100% cotton and one is blend so that's a lie.... read more

I wish I could give this store 0 stars, my experience was so bad. My father and I came from out of town to visit the outlet stores in Vacaville and my father needed to buy jeans for work. He has always gotten work jeans from Levi's so he knew what he was looking for. We got in the store and noticed right away that they probably had 12 or so employees walking around aimlessly talking to each other. There were quite a few customers in the store and no one seemed to be getting helped. We weren't greeted or spoken to at all, until I asked one of the employees about the pants we were looking for. He simply said "Yeah, we don't carry that size." I told him that even though it was an uncommon size, my dad had bought them many times from Levi's. In fact, he was wearing them right there! The boy told me again that his jeans must be old and they don't carry that size, and walked away. We looked around for a little while and we found the jeans I had just asked about, in that size. As I was looking, there were 2 employees standing right next to me talking about their lives and joking around. They were loudly talking about their relationships, making very inappropriate comments and cussing every other word. They didn't even bother asking if I needed help. I asked one of these employees about the jeans we were looking for (just to see if he could be of any help) and he told me the same thing- they don't carry them! I promptly took him to the rack where I had found them. I work in retail management and I could not believe the horrible service in this store! Not only did the employees seem to have no product knowledge, they were also rude and extremely unprofessional. The manager was also joking around with the employees, not paying attention to customers at all. We were prepared to spend a couple hundred dollars that day, but I was so put off that we went elsewhere. My advice- hire a completely new staff (management included), train them properly, and raise your standards for customer service. read more

The cashier with hat on is super rude. This cashier jumped into another cashier's transaction and took some belts out of shopper's hand. If they couldn't sell according to the deals then don't post the deals. The same rude casher yanked a clothes hanger out of a toddler's hand harshly. This is a well-staffed store. You can always have someone find your size if you are as confused as I was about the sizing. I came here on a weekend with bus-loads of people (really they're bussed-in), and the staff still helped me find my size. The sizing is a good thing if you're a woman because they have sizes for your booty now. This is an outlet store where specific items are made specifically for an outlet store--so you won't find some of the hotter Levi's designs here on a major discount. read more

Thinking ahead trying to be SMART, I called this Levi's store (in addition to the store in Tracy) to ask if they have my hard to find size (38" inseam) in stock. The Tracy store checked and then told me they didn't have any in stock. To my delight, the Vacaville store checked and then told me they DID have some in stock. Well, after spending around $15.00 in gas and nearly two hours on the road they told me after I arrived that they DO NOT have any of that size in stock. Really?!? It goes to show you don't bother to call ahead to see if they have anything in your length to avoid an hour drive one way and the associated gas costs. Even when they go check and tell you that they have a 40 or 38 inseam in stock, they really don't know what they are doing or what they are talking about! What a waste of my time and gas!! read more

Classic faulty advertising and really terrible application of arbitrary rules. There was a sign front and center on the slim taper jean shelf (and on almost every shelf for that matter) that said "39.99 ea if you buy two or more." I grabbed two colors I liked and stood in the excessively long and slow line to purchase my two items. When I got to the front, I was told I would be paying $20 extra because one of the colors was 'on sale' for less than the full individual price, and that made the other item exempt from the deal. These are two of the exact same products, just of a different color. They could have easily brought up the price of the first item to $60 so that I could receive the offer, or simply include that product in the deal, but they wouldn't budge. "39.99 for two" is literally all over the store, which is so misleading especially regarding one of the most popular colors. I bet many other customers are given the same bogus reasoning so the store can forfeit all responsibility for the false advertising. Needless to say, I didn't buy anything that day, and would not go here again knowing I am not paying the price they advertise. read more

Friendly and helpful, especially for an outlet store. They have a great selection. Expect to need to buy 2-3 pairs of jeans to get a significant savings (many deals are structured around multiples), but then who can't use a couple of pairs of jeans.
