Okay I admit that I am not one of those people that is into high-end bags and wallets. My money would rather go towards a nice dinner, a high-end phone (since I love taking photos), or an exotic trip. Which is why I decided to think outside of the box and pay a visit to the "Coach Outlet" store. Located in the heart of the busy Vacaville Outlets, this Coach Outlet store has been a longstanding tenant here for the past few decades. Some may think that Coach products are limited to just wallets and purses. Boy was I wrong! This store not only carries a wide variety of wallets, purses, and handbags, but also a very impressive collection of luggage, mens and womens apparel (jackets, sweaters, shoes), belts, scarves, sunglasses, and watches. Surprised was an understatement as this store was very spacious as the display fixtures provided lots of room to shop without being overcrowded. Now what really surprised me was that I actually left this store purchasing something! I was in need of a new wallet and had already shopped on Amazon as well as visiting Macy's and Nordstrom Rack. Nothing really got my attention. Well that is until I went to the dedicated mens section. Here I saw a very nice display of stylish wallets. After asking the sales associate for the price, I was absolutely blown away with the deal I got. They were offering ALL mens wallets at 60% off the sale price. There is where I bought a full-size charcoal/black wallet complete with room for my drivers licnese, two bill compartments, and slots to hold up to eight cards. It was also a lot bigger than the wallet I had for a long time. And when I say a long time, my last wallet was at least 12 years old where it was ripped with all of the leather completely distressed after years of daily use. The Coach wallet uses a ton of quality materials that I know will withstand the test of time for years to come. All in all, the "Coach Wallet" at the Vacaville Outlets was a very pleasant surprise. This is also the only dedicated Coach store in between the Bay Area and Sacramento. The customer service here was above average and some of the deals are hard to pass up. With that said and done, I am giving this location an above average four-star Yelp rating. read more

Coach has outlet stores in most of the outlet malls. This one in Vacaville is one of the earliest in Northern California. The store is enormous in size and beautiful. The prices are a lot cheaper than similar items you can find at the Coach retail stores or the department stores. However, most of the items here are different than the retail version. The store is gorgeous and huge. They have the deeper discounted items at the deeper second section of the store, where you can find even better deals. The employees at the store are well trained. They are ready to help, but you would get a purser when you explore and look for the items you may want to purchase. I like the shopping experience here. read more

For all you Coach fans out there, I am sure you already know about this Coach outlet shop in Vacaville, CA. Easy access off Interstate 80. The shop sells purses, scarves, luggage, and men's and women's clothing, watches, wallets, belts, sunglasses, and shoes. You name it. The interior is modern and posh looking. The shop has a greeter at the door. Other staff are roaming about assisting customers. All are equipped with hand held calculators at the ready to calculate the discounts. The discount was 50% off when I dropped in. But I noticed all the retail prices increased from pre-pandemic, averaging an 1/3 more. Darn inflation. What a wonderful conversation I had today 9/27/2024 with the Amazing Manager...Sophia F.!! :)) Talk about great customer service by phone which she delivered and I'm soo grateful for her kindness and Patience for taking the time to go through the different keychains they had in their store! I know they have wonderful selections and value on their sales too! She provided the style numbers with me on the phone and later she suggested to go on-line to actually see it! Was followed throughout the store by the same employee. The employee magically appeared wherever I was. At first, I thought was being paranoid, but her intention became clear by the 3rd area. I made my purchase and left. Although, I was hoping to also purchase a purse today. It was really a frustrating experience and I will not be back to this location. Came here to possibly get something for the lady but that just did not happen! She couldn't make up her mind so we left only ideas. The store itself is really nice. There are a lot of pursues....and more pursues.....and they are just a little pricey! I saw a purse that was around $1,000 and I asked one of the sales associate why the pursue is so expensive and she said that it is a COACH pursue! REALLY....I CAN SEE THAT!!!! All the pursues here are COACH pursues but they are all not $1,000, SMH!!!!!! After this terrible answer to my question I just moved away from her and went somewhere else. Honestly I find it annoying when they ask you oh who helped you out on the sales floor. When in fact no one helped you. Customer service here is a joke. There was probably about 20+ associates most of them just standing and running around trying to look "busy". Sucks cause this place used to be nice to shop from, now they don't really care. I love the customer service at this location! The employees here are always happy to help. The employees on the floor are always friendly and will assist you right away. They are all knowledgeable about their products and will give you recommendations if you are looking for something specific. Two of my favorite employees here are Miyuki and Gregory. Both have assisted me with purchases within the past month! This store is usually very neat and organized. I know that during/after a rush these stores can get chaotic and messy but the times I've been in here everything seems to be organized and in the right spot. Found a wallet for my husband- great deal at 70 plus an extra 20 off. The floor attendant quoted me the price. When I went to buy it, the cashier rung it up incorrectly. She wouldn't give me the extra 20%. She asked me to find the floor attendant who quoted me the price. I went and found her and she confirmed the 20% off. The cashier then asked me to get back into the extremely long line. I found this to be unacceptable. I had already waited in the line and I didn't feel that I should have to wait again. We ended up leaving. They do have good deals but they have the same sales available online. Online you don't have to deal with crowded stores and cashiers that aren't familiar with sale merchandise. As we walked in we didn't plan to buy anything as we were just scouting around getting some ideas for Christmas.. BUT, seeing the price tags and how low the prices were, we bought 2 great bags for my Mom and Sister.. We requested for a separate Box and Paper Bag for each since those are Christmas gifts and the staff named K was very helpful to wrap and box it for us.. My wife absolutely loves this place! She wanted to shop for a wristlet as a gift for her sister's birthday and asked me to tag along. As usual there's plenty of parking in the lot. When we walked in a number of sales associates welcomed us. The store was semi packed with happy shoppers and this outlet offered an additional 20 percent off of every merchandise price. Besides women's purses they have luggage bags and there's a rack of men's accessories, which had wallets and belts. After looking around for a bit my wife saw a jacket that she really liked. I said try it on and lets see how it looks. It was a perfect fit and it was fifty percent off the regular price plus an additional twenty. She was still a bit hesitant about getting it cause it wasn't in the plan and still kinda pricey but then I said don't even think about it go ahead. I love this Coach outlet. The customer service is always topnotch! Every time I come here(usually weekends), it gets pretty cray(like Black Friday). *Game face People, people everywhere. You see ladies with handbags all the way up their arms, their hubbys are sitting on the couch, holding more handbags. It's crowded and hot, employees running around the store helping customers-- whippin' out the calculator, and bringing out more merch. Madness. If you see something you like, you better hold on to it, because once you set it down, that lady giving you the stank eye across the room will come up and SWOOOP! I know..because I do that(sometimes). Teehee. Great selection of handbags to choose from-- for a good price. What can I say, I love a great bargain! There isn't a Coach Outlet in Reno, so once in a while I will drive two and a half hours to Vacaville. The store is always amazing and clean considering how much foot traffic there is in here. The associates do a great job organizing and keeping the merchandise in the correct areas, so you can figure out the sale price. This is a large store with a few shoes, outer garments, watches, sunglasses and tons of purses, bags and wallets. There is also a men's section. I am always overwhelmed at the amount of Coach goodness in this store. There were also a lot of pieces that are still in Macy's and on the Coach website that were at the outlet store for half-off the original price or more. Some of the older merchandise has a larger percentage off. I went and purchased an all leather wallet for $60.00 that was originally $200.00. I also got a small wristlet for $24.00. If you see something you like, hold on to it. You never know if it will still be on the shelf five minutes later. Although, someone generically welcomes you to the store, no one came up to me personally, as they did to some other shoppers. I was dressed casually so maybe I didn't look like someone worth talking to. If you have any questions it is easier to try to hunt an associate down. When I rang up, the salesman,"Gino" was very friendly, and apologized for the short wait. He asked,"did anyone helped you today" and I told him, "nope." He then apologized for that as well. Gino asked if they were gifts and after I paid he took my items to the back. A few minutes later, he came back with the items each wrapped in tissue paper and in a nice Coach gift box. He even labeled the outside of each box with a post-it note so I knew which gift was which. He put them in a large bag and gave me two gift bags just in case I needed them. By far one of the best customer service experience ever! I had to let the manager on duty, "Ashley" know that Gino is an amazing employee! This is definitely worth the trip. Parking in this section of the Outlet mall can be a nightmare. As I mentioned before, the store can get crazy, especially on the weekends. So be prepared to wait in line. I love COACH! I'm glad the moved to a larger location in the outlet. It's bigger!! I come here every so often to see if there are any great buys. I like picking up extra presents for friends. In the back they have the ADDITIONAL 50% off section and if you go when they give out the extra 30% off coupon that's even more savings! Yay. I've always gotten great service here. They usually have the workers walking around with calculators to help you calculate your total savings. It can be very very crowded on the weekends and since it's holiday season there may be a line outside to get in. This move pretty fast in this store. I'm visiting from San Francisco, and whenever I'm in the area, I have this urge to go to the outlet. Coach is one of my go to places, as well as Kate Spade. Upon entering the store, we were immediately greeted by a staff which was nice. I was looking for a compact wallet, and found a style I liked. I was assisted by the same staff to find the color I desired. Everything was going well until I was in the wallet section and was being hovered by another employee. I understand the concerns about people shoplifting and honestly I just felt like she was so rude. First off, I didn't come there to steal. I was face timing my sister because I couldn't choose which wallet looks better. Come the fuck on. She couldn't even excuse herself while passing in front of us and was looking over my phone. At that moment, I decided to just literally purchase this wallet and get the fuck out. I no longer wanted to look around because I was getting fed up feeling watched. I did end up purchasing a tote with it as well. While at the register, I overheard the cashier mumble something over her mic, somewhere along, "all clear at the register" which makes me more mad because it just proved all my suspicions. Also yes, I'll pay with card, on debit-- because you know why? I had money. To the staff who might be reading this: Do better. Don't judge a person by the way they are dressed. Approach your customers and ask if they need assistance rather than hovering over and making assumptions that they will fucking steal. Again, do fucking better. read more

Nonetheless, I've always wondered what the fuss was all about - how can a damn purse really be worth $500 when I could think of so much more to do with that money. Thank God I didn't go here on black friday! (from what I heard, horrible, horrible lines!) What is the fascination with Coach handbags anyway??? So, for Christmas, boyfriend's mom wanted a Coach scarf. We went here a week after black friday and got her a brown cashmere scarf. (half off too! same price as we would have gotten it the day after Thanksgiving) We decided to throw in a brown wristlet clutch to match the scarf. Awesome! mommy will love us. Fast forward to Christmas Day. We are opening gifts and she finally gets to ours and squeals in surprise: "wow, what a nice scarf....I love it" (she starts wrapping it around her neck) moves on to the next gift...we tell her, wait! there is something else in the box. "oh, really?!" (digs into the tissue wrap) "wow, what a cute little clutch!" what?? how come you didn't get it in BLUE?? coz, I got a blue coach bag, that would be perfect with it.... (I'm thinking: you're welcome!) and starts complaining how it's really starting to feel warm.. We tell her, that's because you're wearing the cashmere scarf! so she inspects it more closely, "what? oh, what brand is this anyway???" (looks at the tag) "oh my god, it's COACH!!! just what I wanted for Christmas!" thanks guys! We are on the floor laughing! she's had the scarf for a full 15 minutes wrapped around her neck before she even notices! talk about DELAYED REACTION! by the way, I got my very first Coach bag for Christmas. Decided to come here early on Saturday morning because of the crowds. Arrived at about 11am and it wasn't too busy. I like the size of this place. Unlike some Coach outlets which are just one room, this one was two large rooms. There was a good selection to choose from and a lot of discounted prices. Ended up buying one bag for $89, original price was $188. Staff was friendly and not too pushy. I wasn't bombarded by sale associates asking me if I need help or have any questions (unlike some locations). It was nice to shop in peace. read more

When I run out of ideas for gifts for relatives, I often end up walking around the outlets and stopping in stores such as Coach. Recently I went to look for a birthday gift for my aunt, and stopped by after work on a weekday. This was definitely a great idea because unlike the weekends which are packed with tourists galore, the weekdays are relatively quiet and you can peruse through the store without bumping into anyone. Upon entering, there is usually someone who greets you and who can help find specific items that you may be looking for. In this case, I wasn't looking for anything in particular, so I scanned through the different crossbody purses. I rarely shop at the Vacaville outlets and was not prepared for what a Saturday afternoon at Coach would be like: Crowded! The look and feel of the Coach Outlet is similar to a regular Coach store -- except it is more crowded. Also the staff is actually helpful which has not been my experience at either Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek or Sunvalley in Concord. I was handed a "today only" 50% off coupon -- and I suspect that is the case everyday. With the coupon, you feel as if you really have snagged a bargain. I was happy to find a bag to replace a much loved, but well worn Michael Kors purse. Perhaps Coach is not as "fashionable" as the MK. But I was ready for a change and going back to a classic should serve me well. read more

Always a hit or a miss. There are always "save 30%" coupons online/in store so check before you go. I really like the Men Coach line because some of their stuff is not as tacky. You can find the basics - one old/double fold black leather wallets, black leather card holder, black leather belts (thin or thick). Simple, straight, and to the point. One thing that stands out about the women's section is that sometimes there are HUGE tacky flowers on purses that come in colors that cannot be used everyday (think Easter). I'm disappointed that their discontinued their women's belt line. read more
