We always have to stop in whenever she sees one and this Vacaville location was no different! We were immediately greeted by staff when we entered and she let us know about all of the clearance sections which we took full advantage of. They had lots of items from press-on nails, hair accessories and even nail polish that were $1. They had super cute Valentine's Day items out as well as Hello Kitty and Wicked. Lots of Squishmallows too! They even had St. Patrick's Day items out as well. My daughter has even had her ears pierced twice at a different Claire's location and this location offered that as well. I got the second set of my ears pierced here. There was only one person so she had to do them separately, the pain wasn't too bad though. The cost depends on how much the earrings you're getting are ($39-$130). They give you an after care kit and have you sign some forms. Overall it's a pretty simple quick process. We've been to Claire's many times. When my daughter started kindergarten we took her there to get her ears pierced. I went in a few days early to ask some questions. I found out that on certain days they have two staff members there to do piercings. This was my preference for the first time as they can do both ears at the same time. Fast forward to today. She's turning 13 and wanted to get her ears double pierced. So today was the day. We arrived and both ladies were friendly and helpful. I had a short form to fill out, and Jess picked out her new earrings. Her ears were marked and before she new it, she was done! " That's it? That was nothing!" Was her reaction after the first, then the second- no big deal! We received a coupon for 20% off anything in the store. She picked out some new earrings , which after 2 months she can use in her new piercings. The procedure was quick and clean. The girls were helpful on going over the after care. This is the most awful company. The rating I would like to give to Claire's is -0. Standard shipping up to 7 business days, ordered 7/27/21, called the store, called customer care no record of my order anywhere. When I checked out my order history online there was none. The order arrived at the store 8/12/21, today is 8/21/21, that's been 9 days and I have made three calls since then and no body knows anything. They claim they sent me an email, but they have no record of that email. Let's not mention their prices, way to high for what you get. The only reason I ordered from them, they had what I needed. Surprised by how neat and clean this Claire's is. They had some amazing deals on clearance items in this outlet store. The staff was very available and helpful, but by the 7th time I was asked if I wanted a basket (or a basket was just forced on me) it got a little annoying. Went in with my girls to get their 2nd piercing. The place was packed because of the Christmas shoppers in the outlets, But we got in and out fairly quick. Yesenia was great. She did all three piercings for me and my girls within 20 minutes. The girls were anxious but she helped keep them calm with great conversation. Normally, I love the service given to me at my local Claire's. Heather who I believe is the general manager or assistant manager, has pierced me multiple times and has even offered me a job at Claire's. However, today I went in with my little sister to get her ears pierced and I was given the WORST service imaginable. Jessica, who I assumed was the only employee working at the time (I was wrong), was on the phone with who knows who for the entire first 15 minutes we were there, and had to wander aimlessly around the store while she was "busy". I understand being on the phone for a few minutes, but 15-20 minutes we were there, no exaggeration. It was incredibly rude. After she finally gave us her attention, she continued to be rude, didn't smile once, kept trying to sell us a different product after we made it clear we weren't interested, and after my cousin requested that she wanted her ears pierced at the same time, Brenda came out from the back. Where was Brenda when Jessica was on the phone, why couldn't Brenda have helped us? Overall completely unimpressed with Jessica's rude demeanor. If you don't life socializing/interacting with people, don't work in an environment that forces you to have good people skills. read more

I have never had a poor experience at this store, until now. I wanted to purchase 4 hair items that were on a deal of buy one get one 1/2 off. When I went to the register, Brenda told me that I could get a better deal if I bought 2 more items. She recommended that I pick out 2 pair of earrings so that I could take advantage of the buy 3, get 3 free deal. So I followed her advice. It wasn't until a couple of days later (when one pair of hoop earrings broke as I put them on for the first time) that I looked at my receipt and realized I had not gotten 3 items free. When I went back to her a week after the purchase, she informed me that the sterling silver earrings were not on that deal. I said that she was the one who encouraged me to get two more items to get that deal. Why didn't she tell me those earrings didn't count when I brought them up there? She said that my only choice was to return my items. I couldn't do that because I no longer had the tags that they came with. I felt manipulated and deceived and Brenda was very unwilling to admit her mistake or make things right. read more

I haven't been to Claire's in years and wanted to look at some piercings. First girl greeted me with an attitude and said "Do you need some help if so let me know". I noticed that every customer that came in she did this and it's like she was saying it like "Hurry up I hate when it's busy, just let me tell you what you should buy and get out." Then I had asked about a piercing and the girl took the longest 30 seconds ever pretending like she knew how to answer a question. Then goes, hey Michelle then the girl sighs and rolls her eyes and goes I mean Poala to the other associate and says she has a question for you as Poala rolled her eyes at the other associate like "Stop calling me that name." However, the Poala girl comes over and goes "What'd you need help with?" Still blowing off steam in the way she approached me because she was mad at the other associate for messing up her name. I then asked my question and she goes "Yeah" and walks away...I was so rubbed the wrong way and then I go to look at more piercings and I see diamonds falling out of the piercings and was charging $8 for it. Claire's is overpriced and overall I feel as if the ladies need a serious customer service training class. This wasn't the first time either that I've heard that they lack knowledge of their products and are rude. Hope Claire's in Vacaville gets better. read more

I went to Claire's after work to get a gift and when I walked in I wasn't greeted or told about any sales. This was on a Monday around 2:35 pm. There were two girls working. I caught Their names because I've been working customer service now for about 3 years and I know how to treat cusromers. I didn't feel welcomed and they never asked if I needed help. Araceli and Jessica were the two associates working. They spoke Spanish the whole time and obviously they didn't even bother speaking to me because they were to busy gossiping. I speak Spanish so I know they were gossiping. And then when I was finally done and picked out a few things I stood at the register facing away from the door while the two girls stood in the register one facing away and the other looking at me. And I just stood there, one of them was LOOKING at me and saw I was ready to go but didn't bother to stop talking until I loudly said "do I pay here" then the one facing away from me (Araceli) turned and rung me up annoyed. Like OK you could gossip at home but you're and work so get to working. I don't know but there is people who are willing to do the job and do it right read more
