Whoa. In the past several years, the customer service here has been consistently disjointed. At least for me. On my last visit, after browsing the shop for close to 10 minutes I walked up to a group of three staff that were talking amongst themselves near the front door. Oddly, they disbursed when I approached them. I swore I showered that day. Anyways, I intended to ask them a few questions and get assistance to pull an item off the high display shelf. After that non encounter, I wasn't feeling it. Odd vibe. But sadly par for the course for me here. So even though several purses caught my eye, I left and went to the Coach shop. There I found a beautiful pebble leather bag and engaging staff. I gotta say though the Michael Kors purses at the outlet are significantly marked down from retail. Plus the shop has a diverse and large selection of women's purses and wallets. They also carry a smaller selection of watches, sunglasses, jewelry, shoes, menswear, and luggage. This Michael Kors is located at the Vacaville Outlets! I briefly visited on Saturday looking for some Crossbody options for my cousin and almost walked out with something for myself! I am still thinking about it as I type up this review - why didn't I just buy the bag? Now I'll have to go back very soon and purchase it - what a shame! They had a great selection of crossbody's that were listed from as low as $69 all the way to about $119 I believe - what a steal! They had lots of cheaper options for wallets as well. I recently stopped in Michael Kors Outlet in Vacaville as I was traveling through area. I bought a nice purse and wallet during a special promotion. There was a coat I really wanted but I left without it. The salesperson, Victoria, was very considerate as well as helpful. She suggested I think about it and put it on hold for me. No pressure to purchase anything. I love that! By the time I got home 2 hours away I regretted not buying it. I called her and she made my additional purchase easy. I got such a good deal I bought another purse also. She securely packed the shipment and I received it a few days later. Victoria went to the extra afford to make sure I was happy with my purchases. She seemed to care and even gave her her direct contact in case anything happened. It's not to often sales staff goes to those lengths to deliver excellent customer service these days. The Michael Kors outlet in Vacaville Premunu Outlets is a beautiful store with lots of Michael Kors merchandise in stock for a better price than the full retail stores. Customer service is above average compared to most outlet stores in the area. I usually get a nice greeting when I walk into the store. Expensive but they have some good sales... My intent was only to look at the latest styles. There were plenty of sales that weekend, just about the entire floor was on sale at different levels of reduced prices, inviting and tempting buyers. The store was busy, full of shoppers, mainly women, and the funny thing was everyone had their phones on the calculator app ready to calculate the savings on their desired purses. There's additional sale on top of the sales! (Example: purses that are marked 50% off and an additional 25% off on top of that, and no, it doesn't calculate to exactly 75% off as you would think). There were plenty of sales people on the floor, and actually, if you approach one of these ladies they'd be glad to give you the final sale price with just a quick scan of the MSRP tag from this handy-dandy hand held thingamajig they carry around. They have handbags, backpacks, satchels, luggages, wallets, watches, shoes, clothing... gahhhhhhhh! I was weak, I ended up purchasing my first MK purse, a crossbody bag. The gal who assisted me was very nice (and will say anything to make a sale) LoL! Now I don't know how often the store has big sales like this but that was a President's Day weekend... wish I had more presidents to put in my new purse. If I were writing this review about an experience at MK and Ryan was working, I would give 5 stars. If for when Brandon working, then 1 star. After many, many visits to this particular store lately, I'm writing a review, because I hope the store manager and regional manager will take note. I shop MK direct online a LOT. Too much. I don't typically make trips to the Outlet, but I've found I needed to for exchanges and basic things like sunglasses, or for fun mommy-daughter trips. I have been pleasantly surprised to find some gems while there- things that are currently for sale online, but must have been returned at the store. This has made me stop in here and there to check out what may be in stock. There are two completely different vibes when either Ryan or Brandon is working. When Ryan is there, I'm greeted right away and everywhere I turn, someone is willing to help look for something in the back, in a drawer, remove stuffing and adjust a shoe. The associates are in a great mood and things are upbeat. I end up spending way more than for whatever I came in for. It's a fun experience. When I come in and Brandon is working- it's obvious he holds some sort of supervisor position, because he carriers himself in an attention-seeking superior way. It's bizarre. He appears comfortable in his position, but the associates do not. No one greets and even asking for help... it's as if the customer is a bother. At the register, the ladies who have helped me have always been pleasant, but the vibe is so off and had I not experienced the opposite on other occasions, I would count the Outlet as a loss and poor example of a genuine trip to MK for those who know and have been to MK retail stores. I have a teen who visited the store without me for a reward after a good report card. She came home elated and filled with joy telling me about her shopping experience at MK. She described the gentleman who helped her. I knew exactly who she was talking about- Ryan. I know because I had been in the store the same day and also had a fun shopping trip, as he assisted me with my exchange and purchases. At this point, if I must go in to make an exchange, I'll have to go the location, but I won't count on any extra trips for fun. read more

This store is giving the Vacaville Outlets a bad name! The female that works the cash register during the day (I think she's a manager), is very rude. They'll shove all your purchases into the smallest bag possible, which you now have to buy. That's right, you go in and spend hundreds of dollars, they make you BUY a bag, and the best part.... Terrible customer service on returns. Yesterday I attempted to return a small $498 Michael Kors purse that I bought on sale for $159 when I got home and put items in it. I noticed it would only fit really two items and that was not enough. I had to babysit and work in another city for a few days when I went to return it with the $498 tag still on it my receipt for 159+ tax I was told that it had been used, I told her it had not been used that I took it out at my house and put some items in it but determined that it was too small. She said that is Use and she called Another nasty lady over who confirmed that this was brand new, never used. She accused me of using it because I put things in it, I told her I had to try that to see if I could fit my license my wallet my keys and hairbrush in my purse, but I could not and I would told her I did not want my money back that I would like a larger purse, which would additionally be more money obviously, but she wouldn't have nothing to do with itI found it rude condescending. No reason to do that. It was within return time told her I will not be coming to her store again she said whatever. read more

Came into this store couple days ago to look for a gift came in with my nieces and son and my husband and mother in law no one greeted when we walked in we just got stared at no one approached us for help until 20 mins later someone finally came and when another customer walked in they were greeted by the employees mind you the employees were standing facing the door where the wallet section was there was 3 of them no one bothered to greet or help us out and as I was walking around the store I was being followed by the guy employee from the beginning till the end and at the registers the guy was just standing there on his phone watching his co worker ring us up to see what would happened once we pay mind you we spent a good amount of money buying MULTIPLE bags and yet no customer service at all no thank you nothing just is being stared at thinking we weren't gonna buy anything just cause of the way we looked. Love how all the staff are wearing mask and gloves, they are following COVID-19 guidelines, the staff provides hand sanitizer and clean the register after each customer, the staff is warm welcoming and very professional they provide A+ customer service, they are not pushy they offer assistance if you need it but will get you a new product from the back that has tissue and plastics still wrapped around which I like since that means no one has touch or used it, I do Love me a brand new bag or tote from the back, the staff makes you feel like family they always remember who you are, that not just for me, I heard the staff sales ladies talking to other customers, oh let me not forget all the shoes, sneakers, slip ons, flip flops in many colors, boots, and much more!!! Horrible service, if you can even call it that. I came in on a week night and there were at least four employees that I crossed paths with as I shopped. Not one employee greeted me or asked me if I needed help. Even when I pulled two different purses off the shelves and, after trying them on, laid them side by side on a table top and checked out the interior (a sure sign of a serious buyer needing to make a decision), the two employees standing a few feet away continued to have their little water cooler conversation instead of checking in with me. Seriously? Disgusted, I left for Kate Spade, where I was immediately greeted with a smile even though I'm in jeans and a t shirt, sans designer labels. MK I know everyone and their mom carries your name around, but you will continue to lose the customers who actually care about basic service to your competition unless you step up your game. read more

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Usually at places like this I hesitate to ask the staff for help because they can either be really aloof or too in-your-face about making a purchase. That wasn't the case here. They gave me enough space. Selection-wise, you will find stuff that your local Macy's carries along with some of the older MK models. I didn't notice that much of a price cut, but the purses themselves are cute. A lot of MK models reminded me of similar models from Louis Vuitton. LV Speedy and LV Totally are two models that MK has very identical models to, so that was interesting to me. Down to the color scheme. As far as atmosphere, this outlet location feels almost like the real boutique. Check them out if you want something other than Coach. read more

I am a Michael Kors fan however now I will be cautious. I had a shift leader helping me for hours because I was so indecisive with 2 purses. I ended up choosing one and was told that I can return it if I changed my mind, checked out and have a good night is all that was said. 2 1/2 weeks later I decided I wanted to return it. I was told NO that without tags I can't. WHAT?! No one told me (and they knew I wasn't sure about my purchase, you'd think I would be made aware to leave my tags on) I checked the receipts down no where states you can't return without tags! What a terrible experience. I bought a ($100) wallet from them 6 days ago. I realized the wallet didn't match the new ($300) purse I was buying from them. The girl at the counter suggested I get the one that matched. I said great! I started to take out the 3 cards and one checkbook that were in my wallet so I could exchange it for the right color. She said I couldn't exchange because the tag wasn't attached. I showed her it was attached and I had the receipt. She still refused. I never spend money like this on myself. When i purchased the bag the clerks says "we have a return policy so if for any reason you decide you dont like the bag you can return it". And they were really nice when helping me out. I spotted this adorable zip wallet, and I was starring at it for the longest time because the print is simple and gorgeous. i grabbed it and was ready to pay, but another employee spotted me and offered to get me a newer wallet in the drawers. :) Overall, one of my favorite outlets in Vacaville. Have a cute collection of purses too, but I wasn't interested in one that day, but maybe some other time. Then during the checkout time they refuse to give us additional 30% because the person who told us was confused. I love the Michael Kors outlet! It's my favorite designer store in the Vacaville Premium Outlets. I like the brand but can rarely afford it full-price, so I can get my cute purse and printed shift dress fix here for a discounted price. Just found a cute black zippered top, with the MK logo engraved on the zipper pull, for only $60 on in the clearance corner... sweet! The staff are friendly but MAN, there seem to be more people working the floor than is needed for the size of the shop. Maybe they're trying to prevent shoplifting? Anyway, I like that they don't mind a couple of vaguely punk-lookin' kids dancing around like nerds to the electronic pop songs playing overhead. :D read more

I heart this location not only for the decent quality product but for the excellent customer service. Prices here are significantly lower for same season accessories. I typically purchase purses from this location but they also carry scarves, clothing, sunglasses, other girly accessories etc. I purchased the Michael Kors Marina Navy Canvas Anchor Rope here several months back over the summer and have received dozens of compliments and looks of envy over it. The gold hardware is sturdy and the purse form is fun & functional. It's a canvas tote in a deep navy that sets off the hardware perfectly. The purse is classy and the nautical rope handles with brown leather trim tops off the sailing theme perfectly. Best 100 bucks I spent on a summer accessory. I enjoy the nautical theme as it looks clean and crisp during the summer season and goes well with white clothing. read more

I recently purchased a watch and they took out some links and were very quick so that they didn't have me waiting around forever. The selection is pretty on par for an outlet store but there are a few exceptional pieces that have the high end look with the outlet price tag. The SA's are SUPER nice here. You can tell when SA's are just genuinely nice and want to talk to you and you can tell the ones that are only talking to you because they have to, or they're trying to get you to buy something. She was definitely one of those that were nice. As for the selection here, there's lots to choose from. Everything seems to be discounted and there is a section that is clearance and further discounted. I love the quality of their leather goods. If you're looking for a good deal on a nice purse, I say skip Coach and come here instead. They have more classic styles that are good for work or just everyday. read more

I've slowly migrated to Michael Kors from another mainstream leather brand that maintains a shop in the same Vacaville outletland. Is this due to his appearances on Project Runway or some carefully placed ads in Marie Claire? Who knows but, I'm so glad when this outlet popped up in VV earlier this year! I simply LOVE the bags here - they're edgy with soft supple leather and hardware accents. I love leather and chains (in handbags and not anything else!) and Michael Kors does a great job of weaving leather and chains for handles or adding that little metal accent for a subtle pop of detail. Although this store has some outlet specific merchandise, there are a few bags that will make the trek from retailand to outletland (and then to me!). The sales associates are very helpful and knowledgeable about the brand. If you come in carrying a MK bag, they'll be more than happy to discuss your bag and offer care solutions. I'm very satisfied with the bags and customer service at this outlet. That's why I chose to brave the hour and half wait on Black Friday here for a cream colored ruched leather bag with chain handles than at another handbag store with a mile long line. read more
