They also carry some athletic wear and seamless/moisture wicking socks for runners, as well as massagers, lotions and potions for runners. Their shoe/orthotic fitting service is great! They 3D scan your feet and have you walk across a force plate and the computer spits out a 3D model of your feet so you can see how your arches look and how aligned your ankles are. They also show you where the forces are distributed on the plantar surfaces (bottoms) of your feet. Overall prices are not cheap, but you can't put a price on your health. You would be amazed on how good your feet can feel when you are fitted correctly for a pair of shoes and orthotics! Once we entered the store we went to look at the kids section to get our daughter a pair of shoes, we waited a good amount of time to receive any help because they seemed to have only one employee working. As we were waiting to be helped we heard a man yelling in the back room. However the lady that helped us, a brunette female was very kind and attentive. Once we received the shoes and came to the register to purchase two employees came out, one being a tall light skinned male and a Hispanic female they were arguing in front of customers instead of helping customers that need assistance! Very unprofessional and unfair for the customers and the employee! This is not a place I would bring my family to again.

My sister has been looking for a pair of Hokas on sale and this was the second Rack location she tried. Unfortunately no luck here, but I tagged along and tried on some shoes. They have a very large selection of good designer shoes...the largest choice of Sam Edelman shoes I've seen in ages. The discounts are good, not great. I ended up choosing a pair of EVA Arizona Birkenstock sandals. At $54.95 they are $5 more than buying on Birkenstock direct website, so no savings especially as free membership allows you free shipping. However, I wasn't sure of my size for this brand so it was helpful to try several pairs out in person. The salespeople here were low key and helpful if asked for assistance. The store was large, cool, well lit and had a large selection. The store was larger than the ones I have gone to in Sacramento. I briefly looked at personal care items and they had a nice selection. Otherwise, we didn't have time to look at much else as we wanted to head home and beat the traffic. I am taking one star away for no discount on the shoes and the fact they when I got home I realized the security tag hadn't been removed at checkout . Fortunately my Dad had a bolt cutter and he took it off for me.

Disappointed in this CH store who is located 15 minutes from TRAVIS Air Force Base. Side note...called 3 other CH stores in area...they all do spousal and dependent military discounts! Update...called me back are going to start doing discounts to spouses. Refunded me the discount.

I had drove down from Reno to the looking for shoes. Picked up six pairs, about a 40% savings per pair.

I made a special trip a month or so ago to look at shoes for my dad. He had good luck with this brand in the past. Unfortunately, he has gout and very painful bunions impairing his functioning and he has daily pain in both feet. Though we are trying to address both issues with podiatry and his primary care doctor, it's still a challenge. He thought the two pairs of shoes we got would work after testing them out at the store, but after wearing them each for a couple hours at home he felt unstable and his feet hurt. A double negative. I wanted to return them but it's hard to find a time as they are only open from 10 am- 7 pm, and they are 45 minutes away, and add the never ending construction on Hwy 50/80 through West Sac to Davis, there's usually a huge slowdown, let alone more if there's an accident. I made a real effort to get to the store (including a 45 minutes delay) to get the shoes returned (which are virtually unworn) in the 45 day limit. I was greeted with "Are you here for an exchange?" I said, no, I'm here for a return, these didn't work out for my Dad. She then asked, did I need to look around just to make sure?... Um, no. She then asked in an accusing tone "Where's the box for the other pair?" I said the pair was in clearance and it didn't have a box. That is what my Dad told me...she said, "That's weird." She then proceeded to look over the shoes as if she was a forensic scientist. Flipping the soles, looking at the insoles...searching for signs of wear. She finally and reluctantly gave me a full refund. And with that unpleasant experience added to the awful drive, I will definitely not be returning here for anything. We had a great experience with the two guys running the store a month ago in the morning...no drama and just great customer service. I like to exercise my right to return. But I make sure things are in excellent shape, I have the receipt, I meet the time metrics, and understand the policies of the store. I did not appreciate being treated like a criminal for returning two pairs of athletic shoes. Be aware and choose to take your business elsewhere if the ability to return shoes is important to you.

But I noticed that same practice from the other retailers in the Outlet Plaza. Anyways, this always a must stop when I'm at the Outlets. Hubs is a huge New Balance fan of their shoes... running, trail, court, leisure... all of it. Just for the simple fact that they carry double wides as a standard size. This shop carries those sizes as well. But keep in mind it's an outlet ship, so the popular styles won't necessarily make it here. This is his go to brand since forever. Ok maybe not forever but for sure the past 30 years. Needless to say, he's been a customer of this shop for quite awhile and appreciates the service he's always gotten. Staff may have come n gone, but they have always been helpful and down to earth. So this shop is doing something right in their hiring and recruitment.
