I stopped by during lunch. I must've came on after a rush, because the place was a mess. Even after walking in, I automatically noticed how filthy the floor is. Even the prices on some of them items seem ridiculously high. They have varieties of items. Don't know how I feel about their pricing. Pots with its non stick coating scratches all around inside is pretty much worthless. So not sure why they price them the way they do. Don't think I plan to come back. read more

I thrift specific pieces for my personal wardrobe, the color has to be my favorite or at least a neutral black or even better, white (because I can dye it my fave color! lol!) & I do NOT purchase plastic!!!! Polyester material neveeeerrrr !!!! So it's appalling seeing so much SHEIN in thrift stores, honestly don't donate that garbage please!!!! I am all about sustainability but I do not like the idea of purchasing crappy SHEIN for more than the prices usually are on the daggone website !! That's right, terrible value in that aspect, they tax when they see value in something but usually the actual value is fairly low. Like $3-4 for a polyester SHEIN crop? Disgusting, humble yourself whoever is doing pricing!!!! I do love the things side of thrifting as well but also STILL HATER OF PLASTIC, so I'm mainly in the glass and ceramics sections, only plastic I'll buy are media! CDs, VHS tapes & DVDs other than that! No plastic'n !!!! Their glass Pyrex selection is usually lacking sadly. Now the part that made them gaaaarbagio!!!! They NEVER have proper bags!!!! I went in bought a ton & the cashier who assisted me had just came back from her break & was acting like she hates her life & loathes her job, had an earbud in for music in one ear & just super super nonchalant not caring about my items & stacked them up pushing them my way as she finished ringing me up. After I paid I looked at my already leaning tower of piza looking stack & asked, "uhm can I get a bag?" She doesn't give any reason, any excuse just smacks her stank gum and catches an attitude while grabbing me A RIPPED UP AND TIED TOGETHER HOMEGOODS BAG. WITCH W T FFFF the woman in line behind me literally went, "uh that's broken are you kidding me !? Get her a proper bag!" & honestly it was already getting later & I had to WALK HOME with my baby in her stroller & this broken behind bag!!!! Thankfully it fit in my undercarriage but geeeez THT could've really been a terrible time for me if not!!!! I genuinely can't stand the thought of checking out at this place but I love the game of hunt & forage can't wait til I have a car & can drive over to check out savers !!!! I brought a pair of shoes to the cash register that were priced $24.99. The person at the cash register took the shoes to the back and had me wait 7 minutes and came back speaking Spanish to the security guard. The cash register worker either changed or had someone else change the price to $249.99. Ridiculous! I don't trust a store that changes the price tag that they put on an item! I absolutely love this place! Mondays are always half off. The prices are great especially when compared to Savers. When you spend $25 or more you get half off for any Sunday. The "Your Neighborhood" magazine also has 30% off coupons. The negative reviews are from nothing but haters. read more

I am 70 years old and disabled (I use a walker) .i also don't drive so going shopping here means an uber both ways.($30). yesterday I tried to buy a small trunk but they said the tag on it was wrong so I had to come back today for a manager to price it. that was fine. but when I arrived the manager was not available and the trunk had mysteriously disappeared. very disappointed. but today a glass bowl I was buying fell off my walker and broke. there was another on the shelf but if I wanted it I had to go to the end of the line and stand in line again per the security guard. I AM DISABLED! AND ELDERLY! that upset me as I thot it very rude of him. then he decided he would not let me buy ANY of the items I had on the counter, told me to leave and took my picture with his phone. apparently HE HIMSELF is banning me. be careful here as he has an enormous ego and will even mistreat elderly disabled customers. read more

Love the rotating sales, every day has 75%, 50%, and 25% off color. And a 50% off the whole store on most major holidays. Well organized.

Cashiers are always friendly, but not annoying to the point the line doesn't move. Both security guards are always on their toes at this location. Neither is never too busy to answer questions with a kind smile. The dressing rooms can feel a little awkward on a busy day, I just put my shoes at the edge of the curtain to reassure myself that people know someone is inside lol. They always are getting new stuff in and rotating stuff out with their sales. I think that's why I like coming, because there is always new deals and new stuff to shop! Kind of addicting because I live close by. Still would be worth the drive from Vallejo or Vacaville because it's a fairly big store. read more

Besides a large variety of clothes, they also have handbags, shoes, luggage, kitchenware, toys, furniture, pillows, bedding, towels, etc..The clothing is also really good quality, many items were not worn and still have original tags on them. Workers are super rude and act like they don't want you to buy certain things. I'm disabled and needed help in the dressing room to zip up dresses that I was trying on and the workers rudely yelled at my husband saying "ONLY ONE PERSON OER DRESSING ROOM" when they have an extra seat in the dressing room? Very annoying when things like that aren't taken into consideration for people who need extra help! We also were denied paper and wrapping for the breakables and when I asked for a bag she just said "I gave you a box why do you need a bag". Just very rude. I went shopping on a Monday when everything in the store was 50% off. It was a very busy day, as sale days always are. There were about 7 people in line a 1 cashier! I was looking in the glass case's, which are located in the front of the Store. I saw several items i wanted to look at and possibly buy. The line had gone down a bit , so I decided to get in line to be helped . I wanted to see no less than 7 items so I told the cashier at the front when it was my turn, that it would take a few minutes to go through the items I wanted to look at and she was the only cashier! ,so I asked to have someone on the floor to help me so she could continue to ring people up. She was very nice ,saying thank you and immediately called for assistance at the counter. A young girl , who was putting away a rack of clothes, came to the front. She didn't say anything, so I told her that I had a few items in the case's I wanted to see and purchase, since it was half price day. We started at the case she was standing in front of. I asked to see 4 Monsters Inc. Medallions from Disney. As i was studying them she started aggressively drumming her nails loudly on the glass counter. I said I will take them. I moved to another few items on the next shelf and asked to see them. She hastelly grabbed them and handed them to meand began drumming ner nails loudly again, accompanied by a groan and a smirk. She was wearing blue gloves but her nails still clattered on the glass. After i told her i would purchase them too, she still continued to loudly drum the counter. I had had enough and gently placed my left hand on her gloved drumming hand to stop the rude mannerisms . She immediately said don't touch me, and i immediately told her that that wasn't a way to treat customers! She was baffled and stated that when she gets nervous, thats how she reacts! There was nothing to be nervous about, she was impatient and rude! ......then she began screaming ,you touched me, you touched me! The whole store was now her audience, so i again stated that her behavior was inconsiderate and rude loud enough so everyone knew what was happening.The store security guard came over and was no help so i told him that i would not be coming back . I love this thrift store! I have been 3 times in the last 2 weeks. One day I was passing by and saw they had a sale going on. I went in and everything in the store was half off. It's a very large store with large section of women's men's,children, plus size clothing. There's also a wide variety of home goods, shoes, toys, kitchen warehouse. I wasn't even looking for anything, and I found three things that came out to eleven dollars. I went a few days later and every day apparently there is a sale. You can either find 75%, 50% or 25% off depending on which color the tag is. I found a ton of nice clothes for myself. Spent twenty dollars on a basket full of clothes. Sweaters, skirts, jeans, dresses! i haven't been to a thrift store like this in years. Yesterday I went, another fifty percent sale off the whole store. I really love this store. If you sign up for their text messages you will receive text messages about the sales and you will recieve coupons. I highly recommend if you love a good shift store. I use to be a regular but Thrifty Bargain feels unfair lately. The employees seem to bring out the best items only when their reseller friends are around and give them lower prices. They'll put something out in a designated area with fixed prices, without a price tag, and then at checkout say they cannot sell it without a price tag and make up a price on the spot. Also, charging what something costs online in the secondary market is not a "thrift". Opportunity House Vacaville closed not once, but twice and could not learn this idea. This place tries hard to be Savers of Vacaville, in looks and store setup, and doesn't come close. Not worth the visit. read more

Very dirty. Was looking at the pants and there were these small white bugs moving and it gave my body chills. Also saw some pants with some brown mark by the zip up part of the pants. On top of that your customer service sucks. How do you have bad customer service and bad security in a retail store? Security guard who did not want to give his information or name, the employee was very disrespectful and aggressive was acting inappropriate. Maria you being a manager will have this store shut down if you can't control your workers and how to interact with customers. This is no way how to run a business and I won't be surprised if this place shuts down. Have workers who attended the customers needs and don't have workers that can't control their emotions. If you can't defuse a situation why are you a security guard. Sounds like little man syndrome with only a flash light to secure a retail thrift store. I am genuinely surprised that they invest more on their cameras in a store that only sells almost everything for $5, and can't even have clean clothes in your store. And they don't even answer the phone at all. I've recently discovered the 'new' (October 2024) Thrifty Bargain in Fairfield (near Target). Loving the prices and selection. They even have dressing rooms which none of the other thrift stores in the area have anymore. Recommend checking them out. I do like this store. I go often, it's big, and prices are good. There are some things that can be worked on. I've gone in a few times where THEY didn't have price tags on things and then refused to sell it to me when I got to the register. They acted and treated me as if I was the one who removed the tag, which is very untrue. Im also unsure as to why the manager or whomever prices things couldnt come over and give a price in this circumstance, but no, they just plain out refused to sell it to me. Another thing is I've seen many items that are clearly and visably dirty. I get it, it's a thrift store, and I'm gonna go home and wash the items anyhow, but it's definitely unappealing and its highly unlikely that I avoid buying those items. Last thing, I've gone in on more than one occasion with in with my 11 year old daughters and they music they were playing was highly inappropriate for a family business... Cuss words and derogatory language, not a good business practice in my opinion.
