Fortunately, it didn't take Pat and Jane long to secure this new spot down the street. What they gave up in square footage they gained in foot traffic. It's a bummer that they lost the separate furniture showroom they had at the former location, though. They do still bring in pieces, albeit on a much smaller scale. They already had pretty good turnover of goods in the old space so they should do even better here. Even when they get high-end or collectible items in, they mark them reasonably. One of my favorite scores so far has been my 4-quart Corningware casserole (Country Festival pattern) for $11 (goes for up to 3x that amount on eBay/Etsy, not counting shipping). No matter where Adobe lives, it's always worth dropping in.

There were so many flowing, beautiful dresses flapping back and forth in the wind, just calling my name and asking to be tried on. I stepped in and was excited to see the vast collections of gently used items, including sneakers and dress shoes. I started with the jean stack and was excited to see that all the jeans were $20! You can't beat that price! I had to try a few pairs to find the right ones, but I was able to find a good pair from Old Navy that was 100% cotton! The store has many drawers with a vast assortment of buttons, pins, earrings rings and other doodads that I wish I had more time to browse. Other customers were happily digging through the drawers and happy with their finds as well. The lady at the counter was very friendly, welcoming and informed me that I could try in as many things as I liked in the curtained dressing room in the back. This was the only downside. The dressing room is a small storage room with a very little turn radius. I had to ask my husband to hold the curtain closed as I dressed and undressed because it did not close fully and I felt exposed. Overall, I definitely recommend this place if you want gently used, well priced clothing without breaking the bank.

The new owners (a young sister duo) have an incredible eye for pieces from every decade in the past 100 years. No matter what you collect - be it media, ephemera, kitsch, housewares, soft goods, lighting, home decor, clothing, jewelry/accessories, or furniture - you WILL find something that calls out to you for a price you can't resist. I especially enjoy chatting with Sam (the sister who happens to have been there each time I've visited) about our shared fascination with the stories behind, well, everything. They have assembled a unique collection of vintage wares. Friendly and cat loving (as suggested by their name), the sisters are welcoming when you walk inside. Their store includes vintage pop cultural lunchboxes, a cat collection including a working Garfield phone, vintage clothing, vintage dinnerware and jewelry boxes, antique matchboxes and even an eclectic vintage unicorn collection. They are well integrated into the tight knit Crockett community and host fundraisers for local cat related nonprofits.

I also work at an antique store in Pacheco..... so I have some background knowledge here. No fault to the gals helping me but I was told discounts are not often given and when I asked about two pieces totaling roughly $50 ($28+$19) a $3 discount was given. That's less than tax. Again the gals working cannot control the dealer pricing HOWEVER competition is steep. When I can and did find similar items online and it cost less to buy and SHIP to me... perhaps the dealers should take that into account and price fairly. I recognize they are paying Walnut Creek rent for their space but folks won't continue to "shop local" if prices are obnoxiously higher than online. That being said the painted furniture prices are outstanding the work is really well done.
