I haven't been to a Marshalls since August of 2018 in San Diego. I was delighted to find one at Ala MOANA the other night as I was heading over to FOODLAND Farms. I went in looking for a nice wallet (time to upgrade) and actually found one right away that fit my needs! And the price was right in my budget! As I waited for my beloved to finish shopping, i wandered around the store seeing what they had. Definitely a step up from Ross however, their wasn't much of an inventory of clothing for women. They are totally stocked up with all kinds of other stuff especially in the bath, personal grooming department! I found my fave Jason's toothpaste there too and at a super reasonable price! May i also say I was delighted that they even had a restroom. And a pretty decent clean one too! When i make the trek back to Ala MOANA (which is rare) I'll be sure to pop in again as I'm hoping they will add more women's clothing to their inventory. read more

Since they opened I've never walked that way for the longest time. Today we went to Spectrum and walked over to buy few of their fantastic buys! It's reasonable priced than the NEX(Navy Exchange) I was for a big surprise for their quality of clothes they have! I was pressed for time took some photos to send to my friends in Japan when they do come I'm taking them to buy the highly organized priced items your store have. I'll be back to check out more what he store inventory has. Staff is all friendly and cordially unlike a major shop I know. Lastly two years ago we visited a mall (near Ramstein AFB) that had TJG very similar to TJMAX. read more

A bit disappointed that my first visit to the store was wasted waiting for them to open the doors. 10:00am is what the store states as opening time and here we all are at 10:03 still waiting. Not too happy. Hopefully the goods and will worth it. UPDATE: They opened the door at 10:05am, most may think this isn't a big deal but for someone who was raised in the service industry and who continues to work in the same industry it is a big deal. This will always be my first impression. My second impression after entering the store and browsing through the different departments is much better! It's a well kept store with a variety of options to choose from. I was there for about 45 Minutes and spent $130.94, which was well spent. Below are the items I took home: 5 men's xl variety t-shirts 1 men's xl collared shirt. 1 3 pack of men's ankle socks (Nike) 1 men's size 13 Nike pair of shoes 1 16 pack of Dunkin Donuts coffee pods 1 back scrubber Whoot! Definitely one of my favorite stores to shop at other than TJ Maxx. I always find something at a Marshall's. It is the sister store to TJ Maxx! There wasn't too many people inside. Of course you must wear a mask inside. I was walking around and saw a MK pink purse. The price was affordable and had to buy it. I couldn't resist. I also bought my daughter 3 shirts. Two of them Justice shirts and one a unicorn shirt along with Lucky jean shorts at 9.99. The shirts ranged from $4.50 to $5.00! Awesome deals! I tried to find a shirt but I had enough clothes for now. Been shopping like crazy snatching up those good deals. The store was clean and organized. When I needed help getting a MK purse, a gentleman came by when no one else came. Very efficient service. I like that in a store when someone notices you need help. This store was awesome. Hopefully I can snag a new backpack at another Marshall's or TJ Maxx. I will be back! read more

Always good stuff at Marshalls. Every store carries different items so no two are alike. Come back regularly and ask employees for next delivery so you can be first to see fresh items. Designer and name brand clothing at affordable prices. Home decoration goods, kitchen, bedding and even toys. Specially good when you hit a good clearance on top of their low prices! Located in the old Foodland space, Marshalls is a good addition to the street level of Ala Moana and helps increase foot traffic to the small local stores down there. It is very similar to TJ Maxx and you can tell they must be owned by the same parent company, just based on the tags. The selection isn't as good as the selection at TJ Maxx though. Although I journeyed down here to check out the store for the first time, I probably won't go out of my way again. I might stop by when I am in the area though. read more

Only reason I gave it a 3 star minus 2 stars is the damn bathrooms aren't open for customers. Over heard a manager telling a clerk to only open the bathrooms for those that really need it!! WTF!! Okay now I'm main using another star when I think about that. I had to go 200 yard away to the mall restrooms running to hear that afterwards. WTF!! read more

I love Marshalls. Everything is great only when staff on checkout start offering credit card for a discount and when customer decline the staff is unhappy. I know it may be a part of their job but please dont make customers forced to apply for it. Supporting your store items is good already. Advertise but dont force. SMILE Genuinely! read more

Marshall's opened about 6 months ago at Ala Moana Shopping Center, but I didn't get there until recently. Despite it being just 9 days before Christmas, the store was neat, clean, and not too crazy crowded. I've only been in one Marshall's before on the Mainland. I found the employees to be courteous, and cheerful. There was a ton of merchandise in the store (holiday gifting), and I found the prices to be right on par with the other comparable discount stores in town. It's nice to have more than one discount store in Ala Moana Shopping Center! read more

Leaving this review because of the bad customer service I received and I'm hoping that the management team sees this. Yesterday 05/26/2024 Saturday afternoon, a man from the register wearing a green shirt checked me out and scanned my item, before I even get the chance to pay he asked me if I want to sign up for their credit card and I kindly declined because I was in a rush. After saying no, he gave me a certain look like he was irritated or something that I didn't say yes to signing up to their credit card, right after that I paid with my item using my debit card but for some reason it got declined even when I have money inside, so I apologized and told him I'll come back so I can take out cash because I didn't have.. and he still told me they accept cash, that he'll take cash but I said I don't have cash I just have my card, right when I said I'll be back. He gave me a big sigh and said "oh my gosh" right in front of my face. So unprofessional!!!! You can just tell that some workers doesn't really enjoy their job and lash it out on their customers. Not the best Marshalls I been to but good for picking up things you forgot to pack or buying reasonable luggage for items you purchased while vacationing. Junky and chaotic but worth checking out to save money on items you need last minute. read more

Love Marshall's. Great place to get cheap souvenirs on the island. I got pulled in because they showed a Gucci purse but there was nothing like that available (like any Marshall's they periodically get small shipments and we came a few weeks after it opened so they were sold out). We bought a few shirts and a dress and got the same Hawaiian honey we saw at target for $11.99 at Marshall's for $8.99. It's very nice and clean and new but hard to find. Street level at ala Moana but it was in the bottom level parking. We searched and searched before we found it. read more

This place reminds me of TJ Max or Ross. They even have the exact same brands. I went in tonight on 06/18/2019 and figured out they opened last Thursday. Located on the ground level on the post office side next to jeans warehouse, I didn't even realize they had opened at Ala Moana until I stumbled across it after leaving Vim and Vigor. Checkout was a breeze, the cashiers know what they are doing but I didn't see anything there that I can't find at any of the other discount stores. They do have a Marshall's credit card but I think I would see if the store stands the test of time before even thinking of applying for something like that. read more

Went into Marshall's Ala Moana with my boyfriend and the service there sucks. When you looking for something they either too busy doing nothing or walking around the store watching you like you going steal something or asks you is everything okay. Do you need a shopping cart. Went there (Ala Moana location) the day after they opened. Well stocked, clean, neat. Lots of registers open so the line moved quickly. 3 stars because the styles they show on their Grand Opening commercial are not available in the store. Also checked out their website the day before. No categories like "women's, shoes" to shop from. Only pictures/postings from bloggers who apparently bought items from Marshalls. But not able to order styles you see the bloggers wearing. read more

Moving and Marshalls with so many great things right there, easy to find, good selection and fantastic service. I asked staff member Kevin if I could get help carrying a chair to my car, hurt my back recently. And no problem, he didn't get someone else, Kevin carried the chair for me hI'm self. Stoked! When I say I was disgusted, I mean I don't know how some people can sleep at night.. I went in today to do a return and shop around. While returning my items I could overhear the cashier next to me hound the customer on opening up their credit card.. just couldn't take no for an answer... but good on the customer for sticking to their word and getting through that awkward situation. Later when I was in line to check out, that same employee was relentlessly working her annoying tactics on this sweet elderly lady, even after the lady had said no!! This elderly customer had a small purchase (maybe one or two items) and this insufferable employee kept going at it! The sweet old lady ended up giving in after being pressured for quite some time.. sick, just sick. Do better Marshall's, I know employees have to open a certain amount of accounts each month but cmon be a bit more ethical and take no the first time! read more

Two salespeople greeted me as I walked in but the people that entered after me were greeted and offered a free shopping bag. I was never offered a free shopping bag and wondered why. As I shopped I could hear them offering the free bag to every customer that entered. When I made my purchase I asked the clerk about the bag and she said it was for anyone and not just members. read more
