Much nicer Marshalls than I expected. A little confusing to get inside if approaching from a side street but nice and well-stocked once you do. They had a ton of clothes for both men and women and a bunch of house goods. I found the cutest baby things. A huge selection of clothes and toys and stuffies for newborns and infants. I looooove this Marshall's! It's my go-to spot when I need specific items, in general or in a rush. It's close to my home, it's a huge space, super clean, and the staff are nice and friendly. Sometimes I just stop by and wander the aisles and buy the things that jump out at me. But usually I'm there for a purpose. Recently I had an issue in my 1/2 bathroom with some art I was trying to hang up. Long story short, the wall was damaged and the frame on the art piece I was trying to hang was broken and wouldn't hang without repair (which of course I didn't have time to do!). I was having people over and needed to cover the wall damage so I hustled to Marshall's to see if they had something I could quickly throw on the wall...aaaand they did! I swiftly found a very nice replacement piece for $14.99! Of course I bought it and hustled out of there. It looks great in my bathroom! Today I was on the hunt for a laundry hamper. I have one but my cat is able to pull my clothes from it. I needed something without holes that is high enough where she can't jump into it. I popped by Marshall's this morning and lo and behold, I found an appealing woven laundry hamper with the necessary features on clearance for $27! I picked it up and made a mad dash to the register. Very highly disorganized. Looks like a overpriced thrift store. Employees are definitely not friendly here. No one even smiles. Try saying hello to a few employees and it's like I was talking to a brick wall. No response back. The floors are somewhat clean but the entire store is something else. Management has no one going around organizing the store so there is stuff everywhere. There's coats in the sock section. Shoes on the floor. Fall hazard. I have never seen a store this poorly run before. Management needs to either be fired or do what's called delegation of tasks to the employees. There's usually one or two lines open but the employees are usually socializing so the lines drag like there is no tomorrow. Also with it being downtown parking is sorta a hassle if you can't find street parking available. The ticket writers are definitely nearby. Lastly the MAJOR downfall with this store is everything is overpriced. Jackets are very near retail. It's like a $10 difference. Small household stuff is even cheaper at target. I couldn't believe it. The pricing here is very marked up. I guess with it being Baltimore I'm guessing corporate doesn't even care about the store. It's most likely a liability. Marshall's is pretty much the same everywhere you go. This one is no different. It is located on the 2nd floor of the building. You can take the elevator, escalator, but you might want to opt-out of the stairs where there were people taking a cigarette break. I arrived to find the store neat and clean on a Sunday afternoon. After two trips around, I successfully found the idea outfit I was looking for, along with a nice Ravens hooded sweatshirt ($19.99). I don't mind that they had a good many for sale as I am a Ravens fan from a distance. I was probably in the store 30 minutes allowing time to walk through womens', accessories, and the on-sale area in the back that overlooks the street. read more

I really enjoy shopping at the Marshall's and Home Goods of the world. I consistently find good products. Both clothes, fitness gear and housewares. This location isn't the best, in terms of selection, but it's decent, central, the front of the store is always nice and the staff is always helpful and friendly. From entrance, to shopping, to the dressing room, to check out, everyone is great. That's the reason I keep going back, simply bc it's close to work. That being said... I deduct one star for a smaller selection...but I HAVE to deduct another star for the terrible bathrooms. There was even a fly in there yesterday...that's how filthy the bathrooms were. I understand that the employees are not custodians. And I'm sure they get a lot of foot traffic from the area. But something really should be done to keep these bathrooms cleaner. read more

I really like this Marshall's. Although they don't always have what I'm looking for as far as decor, they really have nice employees from my experience there. The security and manager are always by the front door to say hello when you walk in. There's never a bunch of clothing on the floors and the store stays pretty tidy. I've been coming here for over a year and I don't have any complaints. read more

Ehh. This Marshalls is all flash no substance. You would think because its this new location in the harbor it would have everything and be a sprawling location. I think the elevator set my expectations too high. The shoe section was nice. The women's section was smaller than the men's which was a first The home section was well organized Everyone that was working the floor was either busy putting clothes back or engrossed in convos with their coworkers so no one actually looked up to say hello or ask if i needed help, i didnt see them greet anyone else either I just expected a larger location from what the outside looked like so i was surprised that 2 minutes was all it took to do a lap. There is nothing wrong with the place its not messy or cluttered just not enough of a womens section to warrant me adding this to my list of frequent stops read more

I hate to write a bad review as there are some very friendly and hard working folks there and I appreciate Marshals. Unfortunately though the Men's bathroom there the other day was horrendous. Normally I would just shrug it off as most public bathrooms are nasty but but I go to Marshals a lot and its customers deserve better. Maybe it was just an off day or cleaning didn't happen yet but unfortunately there was no lock on the door, toilet paper all over, graffiti on the wall, some blood on the wall and floor and just a generally dirty/nasty floor. GROSS. It's a shame people are this disgusting but do hope that Marshals gets a better cleaning initiative for the restrooms and the inconsiderate people that use them. God bless who cleans these restrooms. And maybe more security for all the opened packages that have been stolen from. I have seen several cases for iPhone protectors with nothing in them and opened underwear and white t shirt packs with missing items. Comes with 3 shirts, oops now it's 2. Sad. read more

Great deals like always but guys what's with the attitude , customer service here is very bad, I bought some makeup and the guy tossed it in the air and into the bag not even groceries are managed like that. Everything is out of place there are boxes of stolen items everywhere like they don't care. I know it's tough to keep track of so many things but making an effort goes a long way. I love marshals and tj but I'm pretty disappointed that this marshals is supposed to be at a tourist area and the customer service is bad. If you have a choice try the tj and marshals at Towson they just remodeled them and they look clean and ordered. read more

Bathroom a bit sparse (one urinal, one stall....)....water fountain oddly installed (very low to the ground)...but very nice security guy...some nice employees...large dressing rooms...decent prices (felt inflated to match the touristy area)...but not a bad one at all. read more

The Marshalls next to the Inner Harbor on The Charm'tastic Mile is a very good store with an excellent housewares selection. The staff is friendly and professional. I bought a couple nice platters and had lunch at The Capital Grille. The store is worth a visit when downtown on The Mile. read more

This Marshall's is AWESOME!! The only issue is getting there and parking because of the inner harbor. However, the selection of items is abundant and high quality plus the staff is always so nice and helpful. I stop by often because I work downtown and this week I found a jumpsuit but didn't buy it. I regretted this decision almost immediately and I called them the next day to see if they could hold the jumpsuit and I'd come back to buy it. Everyone knows how crazy these department stores can be with the wide array of items they have however the employee found the jumpsuit for me in the size I needed and put it hold for me. We went in there for rugs for the house, but ended up just looking around for potential ideas and items...........Shoe selection was nice, loved that they had Under Armor brand. If you've ever been to other Marshall's locations, this one isn't really that different; the shelves are a lot more organized than the ones in the suburbs, but give it time - it's brand new here and it hasn't been discovered yet by fierce shopping fiends such as myself. Well, until now, anyway. This location is above the Panera and Fogo de Chao in the Lockwood Place building (where Filene's Basement used to be and underneath where Best Buy once was). It's a good location; it stocks a lot of name brands at dirt-cheap prices, and if you love shoes? Honey, you're in heaven here - they have whey call a "Mega Shoe Shop", and do they ever. It makes Famous Footwear downstairs look positively tiny. I loved Filene's Basement and went there quite often for my work clothes, but Marshall's looks to be a good replacement. Enjoy this location while it's still well organized and clean, because once it's well known... the bargains will be here, but the organization won't be! (Not that this is a bad thing - it isn't. Not a great selection here. Certainly nothing in the realm of dresses for going out. It was a snowy weekend day, and we took refuge from the cold in here. I bought a pair of boots for only $19.99 which I was quite happy about, kind of just what I thought I was looking for. However, I put them on that night and wore them maybe 2 hours. The back of my ankle was all ripped up and bleeding through my sock. The boots aren't made well and f***ed up my ankle. I bought one of those gel things to put inside it, but only one side, as the other seems fine. To me, that's not quality merchandise then. Guess I got what I paid for though. read more

Walked up at 9:45 PM to stop in for 15 minutes before they were scheduled to close. I paid to park my car and got to the doors to find them locked. If you say you close at 10, then close at 10. I was so happy to see Marshall's in Baltimore since I recently moved from Bel Air. I can't help but compare the two locations. I know this one is still new but I so hope that they start filling their shelves as time goes by. The shoe section is not as full and neither is the kitchen section. They do have great deals on great brands, including clothing. I like to get my workout gear from here since its marked down so much. Even though this location is small, I can still get lost in there. read more

I'm visiting from North Carolina. When I got here the weather was exceptionally cold and I needed some additional clothes. This Marshalls is nowhere near the size of the Marshalls in Raleigh, North Carolina. They have a minimal shoe selection and the clothing is limited. read more
