They went thru my clothing/purses, took what they wanted and gave the rest back to me. Policy is they get 60%, you get 40%. (typically it is the opposite, seller gets the 60%). They did not give me a receipt of what they kept of mine. When I went to pickup my unsold items, I was absolutely sick at the commission I received. I gave them NWT (last years items) lilly Pulitzer dresses, tops, skorts, Coolibar skort/coverups, Wooden Ship sweater, Betsy Johnson dress, etc, all name brand items, I asked for a receipt of my sold items and unsold items, they answered "we don't have a printer". more iThey could not/would not give me a receipt of what sold and for how much. (this is a service available on every consignment software, they were very honest and said they did not want to do that for their consignors). Manually we went through some of the sold items. NWT L.P, dress, retail $148, I received $15. Wooden Ships, retail $145, received $11. etc. Several of my items were not on my inventory, and several items on my account were not mine, I received $236 for a batch of great and varied name brand items for consignment (total retail value $1200.00 consigned) Their lack of record keeping/accounting is a sign of not being organized and more importantly not honest with their consignors. I would not reccommend consigning at this business.

Let's get real though you either go to the actual brand name store (and pay a arm leg and sometimes a foot) or you out source for a better deal! In my world, I could care less..if I like it then I'll wear it! They also have shoes, housewares, bedding, jewelry, comestics, animal items, carry men clothing, children clothing, even snack foods! It may be a one stop shop for some people! For the most part since their renovation the items are placed in a neatly fashion! Meaning dresses for juniors are in one spot, shorts are in their section and so on. They even rearranged their Checkout lanes so yes they have candies and miscellaneous items for you to walk through...so yes you guessed it so you can buy more lol! So if you have children..you may want them in the cart at this time!! =) Bathroom usage...I wouldn't suggest it unless they have now just up and renovated that too. Last time I was there I was scared to even go and use anything because it was so NASTY!! So all in all stop in and look around, I'm pretty sure you will find at least one item!!! No one could be bothered to speak to us even when making eye contact and passing by us multiple times. While I enjoy the clothing, the customer service was atrocious. We walked around the entire store for over an hour without so much as a hello from a single employee (of which there were multiple). When I went in the store a year ago there were employees who were both gracious and accommodating. That was a very disappointing experience and we will not return.

There were clothes all over the floor, not just in some areas but all through the store. There is no way that I'm going to buy clothes for my daughter that she has to pick up off of the floor to look at and try on. I can't imagine this is how Old Navy wants the present itself to customers. I refused to buy anything on our shopping trip and I won't be going back.

I don't have much jewelry, but every now and then I want to give a small piece to a relative for Christmas or a birthday . Usually it's something like a Pandora piece or something when they have their unbelievable sales in September or October. Things are marked down to 70% off and there's usually a very good inventory to choose from. All of the associates there are charming, but there is one who I frequently work with named John who is remarkable. He was not there when I went into the store today and a wonderful lady named Kelly helped me. Several days ago, I took a watch in to have a battery replaced to see if the watch would still work . This watch was a watch that my mother had worn about 20 years before she passed away, and she's been gone for about that long now. The watch was a good one, but the brand wasn't a name that anybody is familiar with. It had the most marvelous leather strap that was a muted multicolor and I remember my mom wearing it quite vividly. The strap was in poor condition, and Kelly suggested that I take the watchband to a little shoe repair shop next-door to the jewelry store. She was also able to show me options for the band that they sold at her store , but she could sense that I really wanted to keep the leather band that I already had for sentimental reasons so she made this other helpful suggestion . Thank you Saxons for again doing amazing work and getting my Mother's watch running again after so very many years, and thank you for having the type of sales people who can connect to their customers easily and make the shopping experience a great one. This reminds me of 'Miracle on 34th St.' in way , when Santa sent people to other stores to find the presents for the kids when they did not have the products people were looking for. If for some reason, this shoe store is not able to fix the leather watchband I will definitely be coming back to buy one from Saxons because they really care about their customers in a very personal way.
