There are many things to love about Wegmans. Ultimately, the reason I find myself there on a…read moremonthly basis, is their price, vegetarian selection and cakes. First, the price. I find Wegmans to be one of the cheaper grocery stores in the area. They offer a lot of their own brand items which are very reasonably priced. Their vegetables and fruits, frozen items and fresh bread are all things I find to be competitive (if not better priced) with other grocery stores. Vegetarian selection. While other grocers have gone away from their own line of vegetarian/vegan items, Wegmans hasn't. They've got super reasonable vegan nuggets, chicken patties and spicy chicken patties. The nuggets come in both regular size and family size. Baked goods. We get my kids' birthday cakes at Wegmans. The ordering process is easy, they will do half chocolate and half vanilla for us and the icing is not as overly sweet as other places we've tried. They have done a decent job and, the one time they gave us the wrong flavor, they fixed the situation. There is a lot of other things I like about Wegmans. But the cakes, vegan/vegetarian options and prices stand out.

Unprofessional manager. Instacart shoppers beware…read more I work for Instacart, and I was shopping at this store. Since this Instacart shopping involved three orders, I organized the three orders among five reusable bags. As I was getting ready to check out the items, the manager approached me. I greeted the manager, and the manager did not greet me back. Then, the manager asked me if the items I shopped for were "pre-purchased". I answered no, and the manager quickly scolded me for putting the items in reusable bags. As the manager was checking out all the items, the manager was having a personal coversation over the phone. After the manager help me check out all the items, I said thanks. The manager ignored me and walked away.

No miscommunication here. I was able to get green beans, blackberries, peaches, tomatoes, and jalapenos for a reasonable price. All fresh and flavorful. The young man helping me was very professional and kind. Nice service and lots of fresh fruits and vegis to choose from. If you have a question or concern about the weights, just ask them to weigh again. They are willing to do this.

I've been coming to the farm stand at Falls and Shawan for decades…read more This year I noticed that there is rampant overcharging. The first time I was charged $4 for a single tomato which seemed like a lot(they're $4 a pound). I weighed it at home and it was only 1/2 lb. I realized that I had not seen the scale and was charged twice what it should have been. Today I went back, got 1 tomato and was told it was $4. I asked to see the scale which was turned so couldn't see it. I should have been charged $3 for a 3/4 lb tomato. when I pointed this out I was told "WE ROUND UP!!" I WONT BE GOING BACK UPDATE I was able to speak to someone in charge and I believe this won't be happening in the future. I also believe it isn't necessarily happening at other locations. I will continue you go there but I advise you to check the scale when things are weighed just because it makes sense to do that

Lots of great items here for very inexpensive prices. To me it was comparable to Lidl or Aldi…read more Though there were prices that were less than the two stores mentioned above. Since I do almost all of the grocery shopping for my household, I knew where prices were really fantastic versus not so much. But overall I found great buys here and I plan to sign up so that I will get an even bigger discount the next time. They don't have everything like with a big grocery store but what they do have is fantastic. You can also buy clothing here and other things that your mainstream stores don't have. I came here not long before they close so I didn't have a lot of time to look around but I plan to come back soon and I highly recommend coming here and seeing if you like it as much as I did.

They did not end up having the burgers so I just perused the store seeing if I would come across anything else that I would buy and I did not. I know the word "bargain" is in the name but it definitely gave off bargain basement like this store receives the items that don't do well in other big box stores. I did not purchase anything as I was not super impressed, the star ratings are for its neat & clean appearance, seems organized fairly well, they did have some rare brands that might be hard to find in the regular grocery stores. Don't think it was the bestest decision to sit it that close to Target but hopefully they will develop their own fan base of loyal customers. It was just okay and depending on how desperate my situation I may try them again out of necessity.

ALDI - Friendly Farms Almond milk - SOUR!

    ALDI

Great vegetable prices, fresh!…read more I am not alone in noting the "meat" has gone way down in quality--but who can afford "meat" any more? The chicken is flavorless, the beef. . is it beef? It is now as bad as "beef" from Walmart. They do remain a good grocery store for the vegetarian, and, not for me, but they have good prices on milk, and water. If they focus more on the vegetarian and vegan needs, and stock these ingredients primarily--legumes, cheeses, pasture raised eggs, more, fresh spices, health foods--in this economy, it would be wise.

NEVER shop at this Aldi store for fresh meat, fish, poultry or dairy products!…read more On Friday, February 13, 2026 I did large shopping at this Aldi store. Among other items I purchased a sealed pack of center cut pork chops with an expire date of 3-07-26 and a carton of Friendly Farms Original Almond milk with an expire date of 3-26-26. Went home immediately after and put items in fridge, which is working correctly. Made the pork chops on Monday, February 16 I cooked the pork chops in my oven. Within hours everyone in my family who ate the pork chops complained of stomach aches. FOOD POISONING from Aldi pork chops! Next morning I was still sick and had to go to urgent care for treatment. This morning - Saturday February 21, 2026 - I opened the carton of Friendly Farms Original Almond milk and poured it on my cereal. YUCK! It tasted SOUR! Poured a bit in a glass and tasted it. SOUR! Poured the milk down the toilet. The milk has an expiration date - seen on the image - of March 26, 2026. I will NEVER shop at Aldi again!
