Beware of the Meat at this location. The store Manager, Christina, appeared to care less regarding the quality of products purchased at her store. Bought two at-bone steaks ( exp date 7/27) yesterday, opened up for dinner today and they were rancid ! Drove back to Giant (6 miles) to return, dealt with Jordan whom was very helpful and provided me an immediate refund. Went back to meat section and picked up two more T- bone steaks ( exp. Date 7/27) and returned home to prepare dinner. Cut the 1st package open and again the meat was so rancid it almost made me sick! Again, drive back to Giant to return these steaks and decided to talk to the Manager, Christina and make her aware what had happened and to remove the remaining T-Bone steaks from the bin. She acted as she cared less with what I had to do to just eat a couple steaks for dinner. I asked if I could be made whole by somehow compensating me for my time and gas. She flat out said, " we don't go that" and sent me back to get a refund at the customer service counter. I let her know I would be making a complaint on social media and I am working on a letter to Mr. Ira Kress, CEO to voice my concerns regarding this matter. I will be shopping at Weiss and Safeway for my meats in the future!! read more

Just okay. The meat and seafood section are pretty limited... they only have a few types of chicken! It's a good grocery store for some basic things, but it's pretty small so I'll probably look for a better one nearby. The parking lot is nutty in that shopping center and I've been almost hit as people back out of their spots. There's also some interesting characters that hang out near the entrance asking for money and such. I also think it's weird that the last couple times I've gone, there was an employee at the exit giving out survey codes asking me to rate the store a 10. Kind of defeats the purpose of a survey if you tell me what to rate, no? read more

When I walked in it looked very big. Well stocked. Alot of varietys of food to choose from. Clean. Cashier friendly. However I wanted to get some rotisserie chicken. It was around 4pm. The chicken in the cabinet was not fresh. The same chicken from the first batch earlier that day was still in the cabinet. Looked dry like it was sitting there for little while. Also they didn't have any Chesapeake seafood salad in deli like all the other giants I been to. Other then that it was still a good experience. read more

Not gonna lie, I've avoided Giant for a few years because I remember them being expensive for no reason. Not Safeway level expensive, but definitely more than Weis. Lately it seems I've needed some grocery staples (i.e. cooking wine) that my beloved Aldi just doesn't carry. Giant is fairly close to me and I appreciate the quantity of self checkout registers with a dedicated employee ready to assist when something inevitably doesn't want to cooperate with the scanner. I noticed that the prices here aren't nearly as bad as I remember. The cooking wine I purchased was not on sale, but still under $5.00. The produce section always appears to be fully stocked and I can find everything I want when I'm here. The last 2 visits they've had a super sale on ice cream and I went a little overboard with the single serve cups of Friendly's sundaes. I know you don't actually HAVE to buy 10 for $10, but why wouldn't you? It's like they're begging you to empty their freezers, and I'm happy to oblige. read more

Truly appreciate this location, so close to nearby lodging. Fast and convenient to stock up on groceries while on the go. Excellent selection of healthy, organic, and gluten free items. So much more beneficial than trying to grab weeks old fruit from a gas station convenient mart.... excellent location, thank you. read more

Average grocery store. Wish they had a better produce selection. They are usually out of a lot of common fruits and vegetables. Prices can be on the higher side as well. Most of the time you will be your own cashier at the self checkout because they don't staff enough people. read more

Diamond in the rough. Used to be my main grocery store until a new Weis was built at Honeygo. Regardless, a great store for the area, much nicer than Mars, Gershbecks or Food Lion. Updated not too long ago, and packed with great food. I particularly like the deli, they have a computer ordering system so you can place your order and come get it when they announce your number on the loudspeaker! Very convienently located by the mall so it makes picking up something while in the area very easy. read more

To me, Giant has always been overpriced. I only go here sometimes to grab food for lunch or something for my staff if we are having a luncheon/other gathering because it's close to work. But I would never do a full on grocery shopping trip at any Giant store. They are just too expensive, and it's not like they are any more special than Shoprite, Mars, etc. I can see Wegmans and Whole Foods being slightly more expensive than other grocery stores, because they are more like a specialty store in my opinion. But Giant is just a regular, overpriced for no reason, grocery store. read more

Often overpriced, I can usually count on Giant to have specialty items if I don't want to drive out to a Wegmans. Their produce is usually in pretty good shape, too. Recently the company decided to nix their discount for bringing your own bag, I suspect it was abused at the self check outs. Usually the store is fairly organized and clean, but you have certain days where it can look a bit of a mess. Usually the White Marsh location is in better shape than the Rosedale location. read more

Yay! I've been in and out of Baltimore for work for the past few months and this is the grocery store closest to my hotel in White Marsh. I assume that Giant is this area's version of Stop & Shop because of the logo but my frequent shopper card thingy didn't work here. That didn't matter too much since all I ever buy is a few bottles of water and Pom iced tea so I'm not losing much on savings. It's a decently sized store but the aisles seem sort of crammed closer together so that 2 carts will barely fit side-by-side. It's relatively well stocked and prices seemed decent to me. Overall, it's a typical grocery store - not much else to say. read more

I only give this store a one bc most of the cashiers have been there a long time and are very sweet and efficient with checking you out. NEVER buy produce here!!! It's either moldy at the store or will be moldy by the time you get it home. I can't tell you how much I have had to throw away. Today I didn't even bother with their avocados bc they were so soft you could smoosh them with one hand. Unfortunately there aren't many other choices in the area so if you have to shop there, avoid all of their produce. read more

Great selection of food especially non perishable organic food and also protein bars. Good sales. I was however very disappointed that multiple produce items: tomatoes, raspberries, avocados,etc were very rotten. It was unbelievable how much produce was spoiled... Not just one or two in a section but entire batches of old produce were clearly not being eliminated from the displays. read more

I can never check out here without some kind of issue. Their middle aged, female cashiers are soooooo gossipy. They never have enough lanes open, and these cashiers think absolutely nothing of chit-chatting with the person in front of you, while taking FOREVER to scan their groceries. Their self scan doesn't work 50% of the time. And I have never been there whenthe deli was adequately staffed. I used to live down the street, so I used their pharmacy, which is ok (except they never seem to have my stuff in stock, I've learned to call for refills early), but every time I have bought groceries here, I've regretted it. read more
