My mom and I stopped in to Poppy and Stella after seeing their cute sign on the sidewalk. While perusing the clothing racks, I saw a cute dress and checked the size thinking there was no way the dress was going to fit. Lo and behold, the whole rack was filled with extended sizes! Seeing all the cute and trendy clothing options available for me to try on was so uplifting. Everything was adorable and seemed like truly high quality clothes. The staff was helpful and encouraging. It was honestly a great shopping experience. In addition to dresses and tops, I also purchased a cute and comfy pair of shoes. I will definitely be going back to Poppy and Stella. If you are also disappointed by all the plus sized clothing options out there, check out Poppy and Stella for trendy and high quality clothing options. read more

Poppy and Stella - This whole outfit, minus the bag, is from Poppy and Stella - Shoe Stores Near Me - Baltimore, Maryland

Poppy and Stella is a lovely store! They give me major Hampden boutique vibes, while being very conveniently located in Fells Point. I came once on a weekend over the summer and it was PACKED. However, I had no trouble getting help from one of the very helpful store associates. I came away with a slightly pricy, but very unique "Charm City" print (~$35) that brings me joy every time I look at it. I came another time for some holiday shopping in the middle of a weekday, and had the luxurious opportunity to take my time and browse through everything. The store associates were so helpful and helped me talk through the pros / cons of a few items I was looking at. With their 25% sale, I was able to find 2 substantial-ish stocking stuffers for ~$15 which was great. Excited to treat myself to another trinket / item when I find myself here next. read more

Poppy and Stella is pretty awesome and I love that a shop like this is located not too far from Downtown. I will admit that I follow along on some of their social media channels and love the style and presentation. When choosing gifts I almost always go local and this is one of the shops I head to when looking for gifts for significant others, relatives and close friends. Again if you need a little inspiration check them out, the employees are helpful as well and have answered any questions I had without being pushy. read more

Poppy and Stella - From Site - Shoe Stores Near Me - Baltimore, Maryland

I love autumn. It's my favorite season. I love the angle of the sunlight, the changing colors, the crisp mornings and warm afternoons, the smell of woodsmoke and rain and leaf tannins... and I adore autumn fashions. (Yes, for those of you who know me, I don't actually indulge my love of clothes much. I don't have the funds. And I hate buying clothes when I'm fat. Both will change, someday, I hope.) All this fall, I've been seized by an absolutely terrible case of boot-envy. Beautiful, sleek leather boots everywhere I look, in smooth leather, soft suede, with buckles and buttons and fancy stitching, under jeans and skirts and over leggings... not having a pair of boots that fits me, currently, I've just stood and stared, my mouth watering with longing. His Goatness, recognizing that he was unlikely to escape hearing me wax poetic over other people's boots until the season changed, generously took me boot shopping one afternoon, while we were in Baltimore for a conference. Google Maps had the nearest shoe store to the conference in Fells Point -- a place called Poppy & Stella. Having found parking (not an easy feat in this area, which is a cobblestoned, historical district filled with charming shops and quaint restaurants), we headed in... and were greeted promptly by a helpful clerk who actually seemed interested in providing a customized shopping experience. Refreshing! I haven't found enough of that in Canada, and have missed it. I told her I was looking for a pair of black, tall, leather (not suede) boots, simple (without buckles & buttons & fur), no heels (I have wrecked my back to the extent that I've had to give away all of my high heels), and preferably feminine enough that they didn't make me look like a punk rocker (while I love punk rock, I can't really pull off the look in my 40s). In a women's size 11. Whew! Not demanding or anything... She came out with exactly the pair I wanted. They fit. Comfortably. And they were even affordable. Fastest shoe shopping excursion ever -- hurray! And she even recommended a lunch spot which turned out to be spectacular. P.S., the selection of boots available, even in this cute little shop, was seriously impressive. Highly recommended. read more

Poppy and Stella - Cute shop on a November morning - Shoe Stores Near Me - Baltimore, Maryland

This store is super cute. Fun to stop in while site seeing in Baltimore. My bf bought me an Xmas gift that we wanted to exchange. It was past the 21 day cut off for return, but the store manager was nice to let us return the item for store credit. We don't live in Baltimore, so it would have been annoying if they were strict about the 21 day return policy. I found a sexy pair o' booties that were also 50% off and some fun cards for friends. read more

I have been to all four stores and all are lovely! Their products are great and the brand is solid. They are temporarily closing their stores to protect the health of their customers and staff so purchase online! read more

Very cute place. I bought gifts and treats for myself. Interesting clothes and a wide array of potions and jewelry. I stopped by twice and came out with a lot each time. Great staff. Sweet atmosphere. Not touristy stuff. A great place for interesting gifts. read more

I've been here quite a few times, and each time I'm pretty impressed with their clothing and shoe selection. The store is sectioned in two rooms, each are pretty big. They always have really nice items, that are reasonably priced for the boutique consumer. I love the fact that they also carry the knee boot for the ladies with the *ahem* sporty calf. The accessories are pretty dope from the scarves, to the jewelry and the bags. The staff are great, and are always really helpful. There is always one or three things that I feel that I must have. Le sigh. They will send you reminders when they have their stockroom sale...even bigger sigh. Clutch your wallets gals! read more

Super cute store in Fell's! I actually come here for their jewelry moreso than their shoes. I love that you can browse around to find cool pieces all around the store. The prices are decent and about average for a boutique. The only piece of constructive criticism I have is, I know that the shopkeepers have a prerogative to keep an eye on their merchandise. But it can be uncomfortable to be not-so-subtlely followed around the store. Maybe install a surveillance cam instead? The staff are very welcoming but the shadowing unnerves me. read more

On Saturday, my wife and I had planned to take engagement/wedding photos in Fells Point. The dress that my wife was wearing became very wrinkled, and we ended up trying a few places to see if we could find a solution. The Pendry turned us away with their noses in the air. Luckily, we came came across Poppy and Stella. Stephanie was working that day, and we cannot give enough thanks and praise for her assistance. She went completely out of her way to help steam my wife's dress so that we could have amazing photos. Thank you, Stephanie, for your professionalism and kindness! We will surely come back to this store. I tried calling your manager to share this but no answer-I hope it finds them well. read more

This store is very cute and a lot of the employees are nice and understanding. However one particular employee, Lizzy, was very rude and dismissive. My grandmother came in that store to find some walking shoes so she could walk around the festival in fells point last weekend. My grandmother is old so she can't bend down easily so she asked Lizzy what were the sizes on the shoes and Lizzy says " the sizes are on the back". My grandmother really did not like that so she asked her to tell her the sizes again and she rolled her eyes but still turned the shoes over. My grandmother actually thought she was acting like that because she was racist but i assured her it was not case. Her feelings balanced out when we got the counter, the cashier was very sweet. My request is to please train lizzy more on her customer service skills so no one else feels like this. read more

Love all of the cute things here. If I'm ever looking for a gift or a way to spend too much money on myself, I'll always come here. Also, the staff are super nice and are always helpful. Mikaela (sp?) is the absolute best!!! read more

Drool. I promise you that upon entering Poppy and Stella your brain will have trouble separating 'want' from 'need'. Every shoe seems carefully chosen and they all ooze that "I'm just a carelessly cool city girl' vibe. The sales girls here are friendly and will engage you in no-pressure banter. They seem to be quite used to hearing moaning, gasping and squeals from browsers trying desperately to hold onto their pocketbooks and failing miserably. Warning: the siren calls of new summer sandals WILL be too much to bear. You'll drop a pretty penny at Poppy and Stella, but your newly-hip tootsies will thank you. read more

I would love to commend the girls at Poppy & Stella for great customer service and a wonderful selection of shoes! I left with a pair of wedges that I absolutely LOVE!!!! I cannot wait to return...quality designers and quality service. read more

Good prices for a boutique and a really friendly and helpful staff! They have great quality merchandise and though their sales aren't like any of the "big box" stores in the mall, the price is comparable and they have a really unique selection. This would be a great place to shop for gifts as they have a really nice sampling of unique accessories that are reasonably priced. The store is bigger than it appears and I never felt smushed even though there were a number of other customers walking around. read more

Super clean and eye catching store. The prices are a bit high - but the shoes were nice and were overall hard to find styles. I thought the merchandise was nice, but a little limited. They were sold out of my size in so many things. A size 7 1/2 is common - I am aware. But really EVERYTHING was sold out in my size. Regardless, that doesn't affect my review on the store. The customer service is just OK. If you don't look like you are in there to buy anything, you don't really get acknowledged. It wasn't until I asked someone until someone really helped me because apparently the other people in the store looked as if they were most likely to purchase over me. That would be my only downfall about this store. read more

Great service and good looking shoes. The sale and tax free week made it worth while. Live my new black boots. Will be back read more

Where you can come to Baltimore and BMORE fashion forward! HAR. Reminds me of boutiques from NYC with selections that reflect that. However, prices are uber decent and especially during their winter clearings. Fashion here is put together, minimalistic, understated but makes a great impression. I can't wait to go back! read more

They had really cute shoes and jewelry and it wasn't even terribly priced either. We only walked out with two necklaces, earrings, and a pair of shoes. (We weren't planning on buying anything.) read more

Poppy and Stella is a super cute little boutique! If you are looking for a clean trendy shop, this is your go too! They have little nick nacks and accessories, and shoes as well. Haven't seen any of the pieces in other stores so I love that and having different things! Happy shopping! read more

I always find something to buy when I stop in here. A great little shop to grab some one of a kind items. The shop although it appears to be tiny, is laid out with a lot of options. When you walk in there are clothes, scarves, shoes, and a few racks of clothing. The store has 2 different sections, both with similar items. The side you enter in has casual clothing and the other more fancy, glam items. The pricing varies...you have items that are $14 and some that are over $100....they usually have a sale or deal so your pockets won't break. It's definitely a place to go if you want one of a kind pieces, boutique chic. Take your time, look, try some things on and enjoy it. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Ask any questions if you must. They don't carry a lot of sizes, remember boutique like, but don't fret, another great piece will be there the next time you decide to visit. read more

For a tiny shop they have a lot of nice things. I've bought boots there and jewelry. They have a lot of fossil and hobo items which I'm not a fan of but they have a nice jewelry selection and the girls who work there are so nice, helpful and not pretentious. Great customer service on several occasions. read more

This is a great boutique to go to. It carries cute clothes, shoes, jewelry, and other stuff. The staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. The store is not cheap, but it is not extremely expensive. The reason that I did not rate it five stars is because of the lack of sizes; however, I acknowledge that this is a boutique that is not meant to have a huge supply of each item. Overall, this is a great store! read more

Went in to this store twice, once to feel it out, and twice to buy the boots that grabbed my attention on my first visit. I was greeted upon entering both times The employees were very friendly! When I asked to try on my boots in two different sizes, I only had to wait a few seconds before she came out with them. Lovely lovely boots! Adorable store, friendly staff, nice selection. Definitely shopping there again when my budget allows. read more

Ordered online and it came quickly with great packaging!

I now stop in here on a weekly basis to see what is new. This store deserves all the accolades it earns and the owner, merchandise buyers, and staff do exemplary work in maintaining this store. The staff is an added plus to shopping here. They really care about meeting the customer's needs and I never feel pressured to buy even though I usually cave and I do. kudos to Poppy and Stella! read more

Talk about gorgeous shoes... Then you can definitely talk about Poppy and Stella. As I write my review, I am wearing my red, soft leather, peep toe wedges by Miz Mooz.. I'm in love. Poppy has a truly unique and fun selection of shoes. It's not everyday I walk into a store and would literally wear every single pair of their shoes.. I'm not exaggerating. To top it off.. The girls helping me were fantastic. It's fun to share your true love of shoes with fellow shoe fanatics. This boutique is a must stop if you're in the Baltimore area. Cute clothes and accessories too! Thanks, Poppy and Stella! read more

Poppy and Stella is a must go-to if you're in Fell's Point. Their shoe selection is killer and you can get great discounts when they have sales. They carry SO MANY great brands...it's hard to choose one single item. The store is always clean and well-put together. Did I mention the manager, Alli? She is amazing, and let me tell you, if you're not sure what you're looking for, you're in great hands, because the girl knows her stuff (and has always been honest with me regarding pricing and product quality...never too pushy, either!). Ladies, do yourselves a favor and pick up some new shoes or a new wallet. Fellas, do yourselves a favor and stop by P&S the next time you're in the doghouse. read more

Baltimore has needed a shoe store for the younger set for quite some time, and this cute little boutique has come to our rescue! I am so happy to not have to drive to Nordstrom in Towson to access great shoes! The shop offers a myriad of styles, and at a range of price points. read more

I love this store, to the point where most of the time I shouldn't go in because I know I'll find something I love. Their buyer does a great job of carrying a wide variety of styles, from cute and sweet to edgy. Definitely a must see if you're in Fells! read more

Adorable, well stocked, well staffed shop. Everyone who works here is knowledgable and friendly, but there is never any sense of urgency or pressure to buy. Amazing sales if you catch them at the right time. I live in NYC now but I look forward to visiting and still follow their Instagram for outfit ideas/updates on items they carry. This is without a doubt my favorite boutique in the country. read more

This place was expensive, but OH so nice inside. Their boots are AWESOME. The selection of shoes is extremely unique. And even though this was a shoe store, I ended up getting a beautiful necklace. Moral of the story is I STILL walked out the door with something from this place. read more

This is a wonderful addition to the Baltimore shops that are springing up all over the downtown area. There has not been a visit to this store that I have not walked out with something! The shoes are to unique and yet I have never felt pressured to buy anything. The staff and owner are complimentary but honest and when you make a purchase you feel as if you are a queen and have made the best purchase regardless of the price. Definitely a must visit if you are visiting and if you live in Baltimore this is definitely a store to visit for special occasions or just because...beautiful selection of shoes and accessories. Great selection of clothes and shoes! I like going somewhere besides the mall to shop so you have something not everyone else has. I love their selection of summer dresses and it's easy to see everything in there is carefully selected which I really appreciate. I find them to be a bit on the pricey side, but after all this IS Fells Point and the owner is paying high rent for such a location. read more

I have no idea about this place other than I need my wife to forget about it! Every time, and I mean every time, she goes, she comes home with something. Somehow, they always have something she "needed"! I hear the customer service is good, the selection is obviously good and I do like anything she's ever gotten. After all, isn't making your wife happy what it's all about? Thanks for making my life better even though I've never been there! read more

Ever since this store has opened I've been a fan of the shoe selection. I have a real weak spot and so does my wallet for beautifully made shoes. You see, this store and I have been FB friends for a few years but I've never made a single purchase for a pair of shoes. But here's the main reason why...the return policy is tricky and anything that is final sale is truly final sale regardless if the shoes are discounted 50%+ or a measly 20% for a promotional sale. I had been eyeing a pair of Miz Mooz shoes for over a month and decided to go in since they were on sale. The shoes were just as great as I remember, but unfortunately I couldn't work a deal with the store, allowing me to buy them and wear them around the house for a day to see if they would be comfortable. Sadly I left feeling like I'd have to leave the shoes forever...but thankfully found the same exact ones 50% off retail online with free shipping and returns. This definitely does not mean I won't be shopping there in the future, but I will have to watch pricing a little better. They really do have one of the best shoe selections in the city and I can't wait to see their fall/winter boot collection! read more
